Top standard hotel and resort. Spacious, well designed and perfectly equipped villas. Relatively good privacy. If not for the common inner court areas privacy would rank at top. Great service, adequate to a price. True variety in restaurants, they are totally not alike as in some resorts. Beach is not top notch for sea swimmers, but that is a general thing at Mauritius. Still good for sport and jogging. Overall expensive but is worth it.

Half board or full board plans are simply meal credits allowing to cover 25-50% of a reasonable lunch or dinner. Would not say that restaurants are excessivey expensive - usual above average European price (EUR 70-140 per person with normal drinks). The busy area of the city is 5km away walk along the beach or the road. So one is likely to rely on car, taxis or food at the resort. Presumably, if you come here, meal price is not the main factor.

A very pleasant surprise. The villas are wonderful and very smart located inside the resort. Because everything was renovated a couple of years ago it all looks great. The restaurants, lobby area and the bar are very nice and provide a very relaxing atmosphere. The food is good, except for fruits and vegetables which are not very tasty (all import). The beach experience is great, with a very beautiful water and sandy beach with sunbeds located 10-15 m apart. The staff is more friendly than in other hotels on the island (mauritius people are not very friendly by default). Oliver was a great host on the beach and Minta a great concierge during our stay. The overall experience is great, the hotel provides you 2 times cleaning per day, complimentary treats on the beach and in the room and a very diverse mini bar. It is a hotel in which we can return anytime with great pleasure.

From the very first moment, the welcome was incredibly warm – a bell rings and the manager personally greets you, which makes you feel truly special. The Pool Villa itself is stunning, with a spacious bathroom and a wonderful outdoor shower. Every single staff member deserves the highest praise; their kindness and smiles made each day a joy as we walked through the resort. The range of sports and activities is outstanding – from tennis, table tennis, gym, yoga, to various classes, everything is thoughtfully offered. The beach is a true haven of peace, with sun loungers set far apart, creating a sense of privacy and relaxation. The sea is simply beautiful. We left with full hearts and will most certainly return.

We loved every single thing about this hotel. Its amazing. Everybody smiles, food are good, there are many options for the high quality activitiea and resting your mind is so easy. They even provided a privacy net around our villa as we asked. Water activities are free, coast is long and calm, they take care of personal needs. I definitely reccomend this place and will be back for sure.

Its stg too spesific but the only thing here that we didnt appriciate much in this hotel is the drinking water. They give only 1 bottle of water everyday and they charge you for the extra bottles. They charge 200 Rupies for a bottle of water they refill theirselves on the superb dinners they give for free and it doesnt make any sense. I just cant understand why a facility with 500 USD+ per night price would go after a 200 Rupie water. I would have rather paid 505 instead of 500 and wouldnt bother my mind with this water issue:) But anyways thats a small issue and compared to how great everything is in that hotel it doesnt even count as a negative thing. Just a small feedback for the hotel.

Firstly, we loved and enjoyed our stay. the staff were extremely kind and welcoming as well as helpful if any issues arose. Also, the facilities such as the gym, bikes to rent, spa, beach, tennis court were all perfect and not crowded. We also enjoyed the breakfasts as there was an amazing selection as well as Mauritian options which introduced us to local culture.

One night, there was a buffet for dinner and we were not informed about the price. at the end of dinner, my 10 year old son was charged the equivalent of 60 euros for dinner. Furthermore, there were two instances during our stay when the food was either poorly cooked or cold. the staff were quick to fix it when we mentioned it.

Location, choice, quality of amenities and layout of suits.

Toast was always soft and soggy each morning Wine choice by glass did not vary across 4 venues; Wine by the glass was off around 25% of the time- likely spoiled by heat, left with no top on too long, or too long since first opened, or god forbid near empty bottles poured into new ones.

The atmosphere, tranquility, architecture, and landscaping were absolutely stunning — truly beyond five stars, worthy of seven! The staff, and especially the resort manager, have done an exceptional job. Their dedication and professionalism made our experience unforgettable.”

The locations was excellent with a nice beach without a crowd and with a view of Le Mourne. We thought that the facilities were great as well with the exception of the creaky wooden floors. The patio and plunge pools were beautiful. The restaurant was adequate with some variety acknowledging that we are both picky eaters. The staff was consistently nice and competent.

The only significant complaints we have are that the wooden floors were creaky in the room to the point we were concerned we would wake up our significant other if we got up in the night. Bug control was an issue to the point that we would not spend time on our beautiful patio without a significant dousing of repellant. They could have done better with milk alternatives, as none were available, which really limited my wife’s eating choices.

it was the most absolut perfect place to relax and enjoy our Honeymoon. we have been to many different hotels and Resorts but Maradiva will always be something special. The Villas were absolutely stunning and always cleaned to perfection by Babita and her Team. The service in all of the hotel is exceptional. The privat beach is very quiet and is very spread out so it always feels like you are by yourself. The food in the restaurant was wonderful and any „special wishes“ we taken care of by the great Staff (Yudish our waiter for most of the time was absolutely wonderful) Nitish was responsible for a lot of the employees and he was always ready to help you with anything you needed and made you feel like you are the most special guest in the Resort (He also makes the best cocktails on the Island) The main Pool has breathtaking views! The boat house staff and all the activities you can do (a lot are included in the price) were a highlight! Thierry learned us how to wakeboard in only a couple of tries! We will be coming back here with a 100% guarantee and hope that everything will be on point like it was during our honeymoon! thank you so much for making it unforgettable!!

Everything was perfect!

We stayed in Maradiva for 8 days for our honeymoon. We were a little apprehensive about staying in a resort as this isn't our usual type of preferred accommodation. However, Maradiva far exceed expectations of what a resort should be. It was a unique stay, where we had our own beautiful villa and pool, with luxurious amenities. The villa is serviced twice a day, with turn down service. The beach was mere seconds away (very well-kept, never crowded with well spaced sun loungers, and helpful staff who check on your comfort and provide drinks and snacks). There are three restaurants to choose from- each exquisite in their own way and any request catered for. There is also a lovely spa with heated pool, and gym. We had an absolutely amazing time in Maradiva- we were given complimentary Raj tent dining by the beach and a spa treatment for our honeymoon. Suffice to say this was a decadent experience, but the true gems of Maradiva are the staff who work tirelessly to look after the guests as if they are their own family members visiting them. Aqeel, Nitish, Pritila, Yeshta, and many others have made the whole experience beyond memorable. We will truly treasure our time in Mauritius & Maradiva, and will wholeheartedly recommend choosing Maradiva if you want an exceptional experience.
