Krishna, the manager and his teams went out of their way to ensure our comfort. Both of my companions are disabled, the team went out of their way to help us by wheeling them everywhere they desire . The food is excellent with exotic variety. Services are top-notch.

We had a phenomenal time. My partner and I spent 6 days at Sand Suites Resort and every day was awesome. The food is great and the chef made us masala chai every morning at breakfast. I celebrated my birthday during my stay and the staff went out of their way to make the day special. The suites are comfortable and beautifully furnished . It was a lovely, lovely birthday holiday and I’m glad we chose Sand Suites for our stay.

The staff were exceptional and so welcoming, as other reviewers have said it is the staff that make the hotel memorable. They go above and beyond to ensure each guest is happy. The sea view is also absolutely stunning and we definitely recommend having both breakfast and dinner there. We also loved how the hotel felt cosy and it was easy to get around. Some people have said that the rooms are a bit dated- this may be the case compared with other luxury hotels however the sand suites rooms are clean and well maintained, and I would say that the design fits the island vibe nicely.

Beautiful location at the tip of flic en flac, with a great view of the mountains and ocean. Multiple water sports included so we spent our day windsurfing, paddle boarding, waterskiing etc. a great place for families who can find a ton of stuff to do regardless of their interest.

Note, for the higher floors there’s no elevator, and the times for the water sports change day by day so try and plan in advance if you’re only there for one day.

Super service, 24/7. Very luxurious, big rooms and nice infinity pool. Great breakfast with many options, nice dinner too.

Not so much else to see in the surrounding except the hotel. A bit expensive for drinks and extras - depending your budget.

It is near the sea, beach and the view is incredible. Location of the rooms and the privacy was appropriate. Service around pool and sea was good and the staff were very friendly. There were many activities to do in the sea, such as stand-up pedaling and snorkeling, and no fee was charged for these activities.

Some days the sea was very dirty and smelly. Our reservation was for half board, but we learned when we got to the hotel that no drinks were included with dinner, even water. If you want to buy extra drinks (alcoholic/non-alcoholic) the prices were too high. In the morning it was forbidden to bring a bottle of water(tap water) to the table( we were a grup of 5)

Service was superb, food was great, and the views were fantastic!

The smell from the wastewater plant sometimes blew over to the dining and pool area. If they had large fans they might be able to mitigate this.

Everything. Special mention for the amazing pool and private beach. Perfect view of the most beautiful coastline of Mauritius.
