We recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel during our vacation in Mauritius, and overall, our experience was great. The moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, which set a positive tone for our entire stay. One unique aspect we appreciated was the check-in process, which took place directly in the villa. This gave us a sense of privacy and made us feel like we were coming home. Speaking of the villa, we were pleased to find that it was well-equipped with all the amenities we needed. It had comfortable furnishings, a fully functional kitchen, and a beautiful view. We truly felt at home during our stay. However, there were a couple of negative points that affected our experience. One of the main issues was the electric plugs in the villa, which only had 2 pins. When we requested adapters to charge our devices, we were initially given only one. Considering that this hotel features spacious villas and attracts a large number of tourists, it would be more convenient if they had a sufficient number of adapters available. Many visitors, including ourselves, like to charge their devices overnight so they are ready for the next day's activities. We did eventually receive another adapter the next day, but it still wasn't enough for our needs. We suggest that the hotel either provide more adapters to match the number of customers or consider updating their electric plugs to ones with USB slots. This small improvement would greatly enhance the convenience for their guests. Another downside was that the pools were not heated. Considering that Mauritius attracts tourists all year round, including during the winter season, having heated pools would be a valuable addition. It would enable guests to enjoy swimming and relaxation even when the weather is colder. We recommend that the hotel management considers this change to further enhance the guest experience.

Lovely villas. Spacious and modern. Ours was very clean. Excellent WIFI. Pool was clean and private. Some people said they had no AC in the lounge but we did: both the bedroom and lounge had AC. So the villa was cool. Staff were very attentive. We cooked our own dinners in the villa every evening and the kitchen was well equipped to cater for this. Large supermarket ‘London Way’ which is 5 mins away; excellent and caters for everything! Beach is 15 walk. La Preneuse is obviously a popular spot for locals and busy at sunset - it’s beautiful and quiet. Not very touristy. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. We were there in April 2025.

Our villas backed onto the road and it is a little noisy with traffic. (But saying that, it didn’t keep us awake at night and we are very sensitive/light sleepers). The gardens of the villas are beautiful and peaceful but there is no breeze so be prepared for mosquitoes! That’s not the villas fault though. Not much you can do. There are fans outside to keep them at bay a little.

Absolutely amazing. The staff was very friendly, certainly our concierge Nawaz who made sure the property was very neat each single day and who gave us some surprises (see photo's) The villa was very luxurious and spacious and the environment gave a peaceful and relaxing vibe. No remarks about the villa. Having a private swimming pool is certainly a bonus.

There was a noise standard that they used which is postive as you could enjoy the silence but also a bit negative as we were always afraid that we would talk too loud as a certain amount of Db was allowed.

When we arrived, we had a great welcome. Everything was explained to us. The cleanliness was great. The villa was spacious inside and out. It had all the kitchen utensils. The staff and security were friendly and courteous. When we had a query and raised it to the staff, it was dealt with it efficiently. I would recommend Marguery Villas to friends and family

Our family recently had the pleasure of staying at Marguery Villas, and I can't express how wonderful our experience was. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a team of brilliant staff who made us feel like cherished guests, from the friendly receptionists to the cleaning lady who remembered my son's name throughout our entire stay. We had a very stressful journey with a delayed flight but the moment we stepped into the villa, it was very clear to us that it was all worth it. The villa itself was nothing short of perfect. It was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully designed, offering us that special “home feeling”. The location was also fantastic, providing a peaceful retreat while still being conveniently close to all the attractions we wanted to explore. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible massages we enjoyed. What stood out the most, however, was the genuine warmth and care we received from the staff. We felt surrounded by love and hospitality throughout our stay, making it a truly unforgettable experience for our family. It was the first time in my life that I seriously considered returning to the same place for our next family vacation. We had a very late flight, but the team was flexible about our check out time and suggested the best route to the airport considering it was a public holiday with major traffic. In conclusion, Marguery Villas exceeded our expectations in every way possible. Thank you to the entire team for making our family stay so memorable. You are truly brilliant, and we can't wait to visit again.

We stayed in the Villa with our whole family. It was an amazing experience. Everything was great and we were very pleased with our stay. Comfortable, spacious and lovely exotic atmosphere. Very good equipped kitchen!

3 times we have had a problem with the warm water, but the staff tried to fix it every time. The air conditioner in one of the bedrooms was dripping water and couldn't be used.

The villa is located in a complex of villas where you feel secure and safe. The entire complex looks amazing and the villa itself is like in the pictures. Spectacular pool and courtyard, all facilities are working, cleaning is done daily. The staff is very friendly and read to help. We've had a little issue with the pool because of the cyclone and they responded and solved it very promptly. The location is close to almost all popular beaches of the island and other attractions that are mostly concentrated in the SW part. The only exception is Cerfs Island which is located in the East side and in my opinion is the best place to go if want to feel the exotic island beach experience.

The breakfast needs a major improvement. You need to take the car for a short ride to go to a good beach.

We had our own pool which was small but great for cold dips and fun with floaties and the children. The kitchen was modern and well stocked including a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven and washing machine. The location was fantastic for nearby public beach, shopping centre with eateries, bank etc, we were very happy there. The only issue would be that the road is a busy one and can be a big noisy at times but this is mauritius and once in the villa you do not really notice it. Included two parking spaces which is great if you hire a car or two and with three on-suite bedrooms a large family could stay in comfort.

There is only air conditioning in the bedrooms which means the other areas can become very warm if it is humid for example. The eating options are limited and require pre booking the day before, this is a bit of a pain if you forget or do not have data/phone use but we mainly ate out so this was a very small problem that should not put anyone off.

very well built and finished property which is having all facilities and private pool. very spacious too which makes it easier with children.

property was right off the main road making it noisy at night times which was a little irritating. staff especially front desk person not very helpful with organising any activities. we did everything ourself which was ok but anyone coming here should be prepared to handle things themself. definitely would recommend to get rental car as everything little far away.

The location was perfect, the atmosphere and the villa itself, cozy and comfortable. It was surrounded by a beautiful garden , the view from the villa was wonderful. There was a supermarket, coffee shops and plenty of nearby restaurants. The service was good, staff members were friendly and helpful.
