If you ever are lucky enough to come to beautiful Mauritius, do yourself a favour and stay at L’Heritage. You will get: top service, top quality, top relaxation all in an incredibly beautiful setting. There are free boats for rental, a free glass bottom boat tour & free snorkelling all off the beautiful beach. A great gym, a kids club with fantastic activities (and a better adult to kid ratio than daycare back home!) we stayed for 5 nights and still didn’t manage to do everything. The heated pool is a major plus. Restaurants have good variety and breakfast is quite good. The highlight of our three week Mauritian tour was staying here and doing the private full day dolphin & snorkelling tour. It was such a treat to be able to swim with dolphins, sting rays, turtles, and hundreds of fish—also while respecting the animals and being safe. Please do not get rid of the heated pool! Could be more variety for kids meals. Otherwise: there is really nothing to change.

Rooms were huge, 4 restaurants, quiet, peaceful, 2 good sized pools (one probably 40m and the other roughly 25m). Beautifully kept gardens and interiors were stylish and comfortable. Felt like we were in a small village - all rooms are basically suites with a veranda overlooking a garden or beach, super comfortable bed, bathroom/walkin wardrobe. Lovely to sit out in the early morning and hear the birds chattering. Most guest are there for the golf which we weren’t however our concierge organised whatever we needed to really get a feel for the island.

We were half board but be mindful that some menu items are not included in the ‘packages’ and the staff might always tell you. We were caught out and it caused some confusion on check out with an unexpected amount we couldn’t account for. It was all explained by the check out team, but the waiter should have informed us at the table. It wouldn’t have changed what we ordered but it would have mitigated an awkward conversation at reception

We recently stayed at Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Wellness Resort in Mauritius, and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning beachfront location, impeccable service, and the overall serene and luxurious atmosphere of the resort. We booked the Junior Beachfront Suite, and it was perfect – beautifully designed, spacious, immaculately clean, and literally steps away from the beach. Waking up to the sound of the waves and having direct access to the ocean made our stay incredibly special. The staff truly deserve a special mention – everyone was warm, professional, and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. A heartfelt thank you to Sharmine, our resident host, who made sure every detail of our stay was flawless. Also, sincere appreciation to Diny, the nutritionist, Anish, the manager, and the Concierge team for accommodating all our requests with such grace and efficiency. Whether it was the stunning location, the world-class amenities, the wellness options, or simply the genuinely caring people – every element came together to create a stay we’ll never forget. They have kids club separately for infant 0-3 yrs and toddler 3-12 yrs. Wonderful nannies. Would I recommend it? Absolutely – 200%! We can’t wait to return.

Beautiful property, exceptionally well maintained, exceptionally clean, beautiful rooms, stylish restaurants with great food and wonderful service. The service is very good. Highly recommended.

The beach is average. Very clean, of course, but not to wide and long walks along the are not possible.

We stayed during our honeymoon, and it was the best decision we made. The location is great, a bit windy sometimes, but all the hotel installations are amazing and everything is so well taken care of. The personnel working there is also great. From housekeeping, to the cavendish team, the serenity pool bar team (loverish, ze paul and nathaniel ) which is where we went to every day of the stay, the activity center full of options (we did the amazing boxing class, yoga and took the bikes out for a ride), and of course the team in all restaurants. Everyone is very helpful, always with a smile and very good english. The hotel also has several restaurants. We loved them all. Specially the chateau and the golf links reserve, which were outside of the main installation (walking distance) but very very beautiful. Breakfast was also amazing. We did have the gourmet bliss, as all inclusive, and we made the most of the experience. Everynight the cavendish would have live music or something special, and when it didnt we would sit on the bar and contemplate how beautiful it is placed (cheers to the amazing team there aswell). The staff are very welcoming, the property is huge and is well equipped. Facilities like kids club, baby care club, water activities, kite surfing etc. added bonus points. We left our 5 month old infant at the baby care for 3 days and we were able to enjoy the water activities being stress free and even have breakfast peacefully knowing the baby was being taken care of. The rooms are big and have everything that you need including milk and honey provided to you as a part of the coffee table/needs. The restaurants give you a variety of cuisines and are all amazing. The pools are huge, the beach is right in front, the river flows through the property and all in all it's a beautiful property to stay at. I already miss being there!

Everything was perfect!

The facilities were amazing and the vibe great. We enjoyed a lot the sunset at the pool and walking around the hotel. Lota of restaurants and options.

The organization and coordination of the staff could be better. The system was down several times and despite having all inclusive (gourmet package) the billing and the payment every time we ate was 30min minimum. I ended up paying several things that I though it was included because the lack og coordination and information. Nevertheless, the staff tried to help as much as they could but this needs to be improved as it gets a real bad impression.

🏨- Five star hotel with a very good beach, but a strong float, so hard to stay at the same place , A boat house (eg free snorkelling, glass boat), a good gym a pool in the main area one for adults only, one for all and a C-shaped one; the hotel is very modern, rooms are really good; it took us one min to the beach, the feeling is like on a british Land house 🌮 - The breakfast and dinner is very good and the areas look the Same but Food is different, the buffet in the morning is very good and a huge varity of dishes. The coffee ok, could be better. Only minus in the hotel is the Food „on the Beach“ from the beach bar- Small portions and OK-taste 👩‍💻 - Staff is very helpful and quick to respond. You get a stuff Buddy for your stay who is coming twice to See if everything is alright, a WhatsApp group is created where you can ask more a less everything 💵 - Value for money, I would say; the location , room and facilities are good, a real 5 Star hotel

Its a beautiful and elegant hotel, while still being child friendly and relaxed. The choices for food were amazing- and I would definitely get the Gourmet Bliss option which is all inclusive at both Heritage hotels. The Timomo Kids club was also amazing and kept the little one occupied and happy throughout most of the days.

It was very difficult to find fault with this hotel, except perhaps the rooms were not cleaned that well on a daily basis. Other than that very minor issue everything was great.
