Location amazingly quiet and resort landscaping is beautiful. The resort, rooms escpecially need some maintenacne but i believe they are short of funds., especially after Covid. But the staff made up for it being exceptionally friendly and helpful. Food variety was good, quality medium, Their open air restaurant lovely set up by pool overlooking the beach. The beach is nice but always very windy. What is great from the Sofitel you are very close to great activities such as The Vanille Nature Park , La vallee des 23 couleurs Park, Gris gris beach, which i highly recommend

1 week of wind not permitting us to use the beach. The south is know for being windy, but if you are going for activities it doen't matter.

From the moment we reached the hotel, the considerable amount of hospitality and the great welcome that we received from each and every staff who goes out of their way to make the client happy is really unique in this hotel. My wife and son had their best time before school resumes. The level of service is definitely unique in the world i would say as i travel frequently. If you want to feel the saying of the customer is king have a stay in sofitel you will feel it

Dinner is pretty bad. Even after paying for an expensive buffet, even water was not included.

Amazing stay with family, stunning view on Beach, nice location, high hospitality during all stay, the staff very helpful and smiling anytime, high quality of support and assistance, the restaurant is good with a diversity of menus special shout outs to Mr Wassim and Mr Raj for the support and assistance during the stay including the arrangement of outings across the island..

Staff were super friendly and very attentive. Krishna and Raj in particular were wonderful and made us feel at home. Housekeeping was great and the room we booked had an amazing view of the beach. The plunge pool was the perfect temperature.

The food was not what we had expected and during our stay one of the restaurants was closed. it opened the day we left.

Very good customer service as soon as you arrive. Vilma in the space was excellent. And Lolo I think was her name ( the lady at the desk of the spa) was an incredibly awesome human.

The buffet is not good In my opinion. The only thing that lets the hotel down. Was a weird mixture of food choices, in Mauritius don’t be scared to do more Mauritian food. Good job it’s other food options. Also the service at dinner was very bad, 15 minutes before I was approached with the option to get a drink. Very expensive for what is offered, €50 for a load of s&*t if I’m honest

The staff were soo friendly especially Raj who checked up on us everyday and helped us with any activities we were planning. Nayesh and Priya too who were soo helpful with our check in and even gave us a complimentary late check out. They all made an effort to make us feel special and welcome there The spa has a lot of treatments and complimentary spaces to enjoy The property is massive and has a vey extensive beach and forest area that you can explore

The colour scheme in the rooms is a bit off-putting with bright lime green! The menu for lunch in the beach restaurant was a bit limited Some of the furniture is old and needs to be upgraded If you are looking for something romantic or intimate, be aware this hotel attracts a lot of families

Lovely room, very good dining area. Wife enjoyed Spa. The people there were so lovely! Nothing too much! Oh, the beds, fabulous comfy, comfy, comfy......bliss! The addition of a light projector in room at first disoriented us, but was a delightfully nice touch, a little unusual in a nice way! "To provide extra ambiance on yoir last night".

Felt a little dated, water shortage (paying for water seems strange) even dinner had NO water unless paid for.........should be included in price surely. Didnt mind the 'expensive' beer and wine, but water should be incuded.......and in general would put food at 3-4 star, could seriously be much improved. Did feel a little like being taken for money, first and last action involved payment, dont have any issue paying for anything (kinda miffed paying for water), but seemed to drive most situations, should be more discreet......

The staff at So/Softiel Mauritius were fantastic. They went above and beyond to ensure I had a great stay despite the weather. I want to pass on my thanks to Raj, Vijay , Pradeep, Noora and all the staff at La Flamboyant and La Takamaka for and amazing stay

Peaceful and tranquil, good quiet area close to the sea, perfect for taking time out to relax and enjoy some quiet time. Rooms were spacious and well equipped, opening out onto the seafront.

Food wasn’t the best in town, but lots of eateries in the area so more than made up for by location.
