Thank you to Jean (the GM) and his team at the St Regis Le Morne. Our stay was nothing short of exceptional. The property is stunning with views of Le Morne and the sea. Huge thanks to the staff for making our stay so lovely, team members here really went the extra mile. Mr Yuv - the hotels sommelier was fantastic, we had a blast in the wine cellar and the Champagne sabring the next day was awesome, a true tradition that the team let us do ourselves. Mr Vince - F&B manager was so helpful in curating our culinary experience and lovely to talk to, we had alot of fun and all of the dining outlets exceeded our expectations. Mrs Nousreen our guest experience manger/ butler set up some amenities in our room that made our evening and indeed our stay, (celebrating our engagement anniversary), thank you so much for that, we truly appreciated it. Im sure theres many names i can't recall, but thank you so much to all the hoteliers at the St Regis that made our stay so enjoyable. We will definitely be back! J & K

The time I spent at the JW Marriot was literally one of the best experiences I had. This was my honeymoon trip and I wanted everything to be perfect. I am extremely thankful that Neha and her team made sure this is what happened. Fantastic and idyllic location with breathtaking views across the ocean. Enjoyed the complimentary watersports especially the kayaking! Some staff members went out of their way to make our stay memorable and comfortable: Hema, Chef Sanjay, Baba, Lucinda and our butler Garry. Chef Sanjay prepared a delicious dinner. Wonderful library, games rooms and very comfy seats in the cinema. The indoor activities are definitely required as it does rain intermittently.

The hotel is an amazing part of the island but needs a renovation. Some staff are quite grumpy especially the check-in and check out staff. They did not create a warm welcome nor a friendly departure and need training. Some of the "buggy drivers" were also very moody. The restaurants are also overpriced and could do with a revamping of their menus.

- professional staff - Very friendly and helpful staff - beautiful beach - great room sizes - specifically one staff member (female) who worked at the pool & also at the beach. She always ended her phrases with "certainly sir/ma'am". She was AMAZING! When she was around, we knew, we would get excellent service. Thanks to the entire staff for making this vacation a relaxing, memorable & unforgettable moment.

This hotel and staff are a 10 out of 10. There were absolutely no negative points to be mentioned but maybe some helpful tipps on some very small adaptions: - since this is a private beach/hotel i think external parties shouldn't fish or sunbath in the hotel area - cleaning was excellent but the capsules in the coffee-machine weren't removed, we did it ourselves. - mini bar refill staff, water refill staff & cleaning personell should do the rooms at the same time. - beach bar, (the bar closer to the villa) has some issues. Food / drinks we ordered never arrived but glasses with ice arrived. Happened 2 times, unfortunately our favorite staff member (female) wasn't there.. but the staff member that worked on those days were chatting behind the bar. So no busy time.

This was an absolutely amazing hotel with exceptional service! The butler team provided lightning-fast responses, and the food was incredible with five different types of restaurants to choose from. The rooms were spacious and luxurious, and we even received an upgrade upon arrival. Special thanks to Maansi and Stefan – truly wonderful people who made the experience unforgettable!

The hotel itself is absolutely wonderful. The location is perfect, with a large space and impressive colonial architecture. The only downside for me, as with all of Mauritius, is the abundance of coral on the beach, so water shoes are a must. Apart from that, everything was fantastic!

We had an exceptional experience at JW Marriott Mauritius. The location is unbeatable — right on a pristine beach with breathtaking views of Le Morne Brabant. The staff were consistently attentive, warm, and proactive, making us feel welcome from start to finish. Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and well-maintained throughout our stay. Housekeeping was discreet and efficient. The resort offers a great balance of relaxation and activities — from water sports to yoga and fine dining at several restaurants, all with something unique to offer. Overall, a luxury experience that lived up to expectations — we would definitely return and recommend it without hesitation.

It's location, it's 30mins away from Casela and Chamarel ( waterfall and 7 colours Dune). 5mins away from Le Morne Mountain. But 1h30mins from airport. Beautiful Beach and corals near underwater waterfall. They provide daily selected activities for free but need to book it. The Butler Service team is truly amazing. Staff whom gave us Extra TLC during our stayed are server-Travin, server-Shaven , Butler-Arnav, Climber-Wayne and the guy who take care the fitness centre + concierge. Thank you.

Receptionist and Watersports Staff, they give Terrible service as if I owe them money. They have very limited life Vest. Breakfast everyday the same. The only change is curry and a few breads

We spent a wonderful week, travelling as a couple to relax. It was our second time in Mauritius (previously staying at Westin). We really enjoyed the island during our first visit, and wanted to come back to our favourite place. The hotel certainly has the best location on the blessed south-west corner of the island, the surroundings, beach and landscapes are breath-taking and the location is very quiet. It also allows practicing various sport and excursions. The facilities, spa, and rooms are excellent (perfect sleep) and supported by a high quality and kind staff. Food was excellent in all restaurants, the pastries clearly stand out. All the team has been incredibly nice and contributed to make our stay the most enjoyable and unforgettable. Huge thanks to all the team and Fahim to make our stayperfect, we clearly found our best place in Mauritius and will certainly come back.

We spent 6 nights at the JW Marriott Resort in Mauritius and were extremely satisfied with every aspect of our stay. The hotel itself is stunning—spacious, comfortable, and perfectly maintained. From the moment we arrived, the level of service and hospitality stood out. The Japanese restaurant on-site was a real highlight—delicious food and a fantastic ambiance. But what truly made our stay special was the incredible staff. Everyone we encountered was kind, polite, and genuinely attentive. A special thank you to Daniel, the Duty Manager, who truly went above and beyond for us. We had a few concerns upon arrival, and he handled everything with such professionalism, intelligence, and experience that within a few hours, everything was completely turned around. His calm, thoughtful approach and genuine commitment to guest satisfaction made a real difference and left a lasting impression on us. Likewise, Afzal, the Front Office Manager, was another standout—warm, efficient, and a true professional. Among the wider team, we’d like to mention Aroumel from the beach and pool area—always kind and attentive, making sure we felt relaxed and cared for. Clyde at the Kids Club brought joy and fun for the little ones, with a natural talent for connecting with children. And perhaps most impressively, Tarvin from the breakfast team—he recognized us by day two and remembered all the little details, from our preferred coffees to how we liked our breakfast. His attention to detail and service truly went above and beyond. This was one of those rare experiences where everything just felt right. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and can wholeheartedly recommend JW Marriott Mauritius to anyone looking for a luxury experience with heart.

If anything, the beach—while truly scenic—has quite shallow water at low tide, and the seabed isn’t the soft, sandy kind, so going barefoot isn’t the most comfortable.
