If you ever are lucky enough to come to beautiful Mauritius, do yourself a favour and stay at L’Heritage. You will get: top service, top quality, top relaxation all in an incredibly beautiful setting. There are free boats for rental, a free glass bottom boat tour & free snorkelling all off the beautiful beach. A great gym, a kids club with fantastic activities (and a better adult to kid ratio than daycare back home!) we stayed for 5 nights and still didn’t manage to do everything. The heated pool is a major plus. Restaurants have good variety and breakfast is quite good. The highlight of our three week Mauritian tour was staying here and doing the private full day dolphin & snorkelling tour. It was such a treat to be able to swim with dolphins, sting rays, turtles, and hundreds of fish—also while respecting the animals and being safe. Please do not get rid of the heated pool! Could be more variety for kids meals. Otherwise: there is really nothing to change.

Rooms were huge, 4 restaurants, quiet, peaceful, 2 good sized pools (one probably 40m and the other roughly 25m). Beautifully kept gardens and interiors were stylish and comfortable. Felt like we were in a small village - all rooms are basically suites with a veranda overlooking a garden or beach, super comfortable bed, bathroom/walkin wardrobe. Lovely to sit out in the early morning and hear the birds chattering. Most guest are there for the golf which we weren’t however our concierge organised whatever we needed to really get a feel for the island.

We were half board but be mindful that some menu items are not included in the ‘packages’ and the staff might always tell you. We were caught out and it caused some confusion on check out with an unexpected amount we couldn’t account for. It was all explained by the check out team, but the waiter should have informed us at the table. It wouldn’t have changed what we ordered but it would have mitigated an awkward conversation at reception

Beautiful property, exceptionally well maintained, exceptionally clean, beautiful rooms, stylish restaurants with great food and wonderful service. The service is very good. Highly recommended.

The beach is average. Very clean, of course, but not to wide and long walks along the are not possible.

Beautiful resort at a beautiful seaside location. Green Fees of the Golf Course included in the room price. Excellent staff - very helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet was good.

Poolside Restaurant menu has limited options. Only one litre of complimentary water provided per day, in the room. Additional bottles charged at 120 MUR per bottle. No free water served at restaurants - water bottles are charged even higher - at MUR 190 per bottle! Not expected from a resort with room charges of 500 Euro per night!!

almost everything!! let me list down major highlights - super super friendly and lovely staff. they genuinely care for their guests and will try their level best to take good care of you. - amazing restaurants and super kind chefs. on one occasion we didn’t like our dinner that much.. we passed on our feedback to the executive chef. he was super kind to not just waive off our bill for that dinner but also himself prepared dinner according to our taste the next day. and that dinner was out of the world, like i never had such tasty crepes or tortellini.. it was just superb - breakfast spread is HUGE and super tasty - have amazing activities and facilities - they also assign you a host who takes care of you throughout the stay. our host Tanushii did a great job! I think I haven’t covered everything still but trust it’s the most luxurious and comforting property i have stayed so far and I have stayed at many 7 star properties including the Atlantis in Dubai.. and this property surpasses all of them by a mile!! strongly recommend to book this property if you are looking to just chill at a good hotel in mauritius :)

nothing in particular. maybe they can give more complimentary water bottles. given the property is located so far away from the main city.. we cannot buy water from outside and water inside can get quite expensive if you are staying for long.

The facilities were amazing and the vibe great. We enjoyed a lot the sunset at the pool and walking around the hotel. Lota of restaurants and options.

The organization and coordination of the staff could be better. The system was down several times and despite having all inclusive (gourmet package) the billing and the payment every time we ate was 30min minimum. I ended up paying several things that I though it was included because the lack og coordination and information. Nevertheless, the staff tried to help as much as they could but this needs to be improved as it gets a real bad impression.

We had a great experience at the Heritage, from check-in to when we left. We were greeted by our amazing host Noor, who was so helpful throughout our stay. We were traveling with a baby and they gave us everything we needed, from a sterilizer to a diaper trashcan. Our room was incredible and always neatly clean, the beach was beautiful,and the food was great at all the restaurants we tried. We for sure come back!

Service was a little slow sometimes but it's not a complaint it helped us slow down and take the vacation rhythm

The warm and welcoming staff ensured a seamless stay, catering to our every need. Josh was our dedicated host and was excellent! The culinary experience was exceptional, with a diverse range of restaurants to choose from each night, offering something for every palate. Our daughter was thoroughly entertained at the fantastic kids' club, while we relaxed and rejuvenated. The resort's amenities were truly impressive, featuring a massive pool and a separate heated pool, perfect for all ages. The beautifully manicured golf course was a highlight for us. Overall, Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Wellness Resort is a true paradise on earth, offering something for everyone. We can't wait to return and create more memories with our family.

Everything, from the amazing grounds of the resort - all super well kept, great big room and bathroom, the swimming pool, the restaurants and all the free activities you can enjoy. There is a lot to do and see in the resort, from enjoying the beach to pilates and other wellness activities which had very professional instructors. Everything is made so you don’t leave the resort!

The TV was not working but was quickly fixed. WiFi kept throwing me off from time to time but otherwise was fine. The butler service (to book all your activities and restaurants) might not work so well for everyone, for instance it took me 5-6 hours to get confirmation of reservation on the first day, but once connection via whatsapp was established it worked well. In terms of sustainability there would be something to improve: ask the staff not to change towels when they are on the rack - despite a clear warning that towels will only be changed if they are in the bathtub my towels were changed, even twice in one day. Also, I find it strange that for dinner you need to pay for water when booking half board, a bottle of water per person should be included.
