During our stay, we stayed in two different apartments. The first one was modern, with a new and quiet AC, a spacious living room, and a fully equipped kitchen including an oven. The second apartment had an older, very noisy AC, no oven, and was significantly smaller. While the size itself wasn’t an issue, I found it surprising that both were rented at the same price. Also, neither apartment had basics like salt, pepper, or oil, which was annoying since you don’t want to buy those for just a week’s stay. That said, the overall value for money is excellent, and I would still recommend the place.

The spacious appartment is not upmarket but offers everything you need. The daily cleaning service was nice with a regular change of towels and bedlinen. Centrally situated in La Gaulette with a very nice restaurant (Eldorade) and shops within easy walking distance. The 'lonely' washing machine works well! The host was kind and replaced all kitchen appliances and other items that was not acceptable on arrival. You do need a car to get around in the area. La Morne Beach is very nice, about 10mins drive.

The rail at the stairs leading from the parking area to the ground floor apartments needs fixing. The cane furniture can really benefit from new (thicker) cushions.

The property owner was extremely polite and welcoming. The place was cleaned daily, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and tranquility. The room was very spacious, and the kitchen was well-equipped. Parking was available, and restaurants and shops were within a five-minute walking distance. Le Morne Beach was approximately a 12-15 minute drive away, with a large free parking area nearby. It was one of the most beautiful beaches we visited—perhaps even the most stunning and expansive of them all

Would be better to have newer towels

My girlfriend and me spent 8 nights at Mountain View La Gaulette. In short, there is nothing to complain about. The apartment is huge for 2 people and we didn‘t miss anything. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking every day, including pots and pans, knifes, toaster, coffee machine, microwave, modern fridge/freezer etc… Large supermarket and different restaurants are within walking distance. Communication with the friendly host, Mr. Shan, was easy via WhatsApp. We also rented a car directly at the property for a very fair price. Any requests were taken care of fast, the apartment was cleaned daily.

Nothing really, maybe 2 more pillows in the bed would have added to our comfort.

Nice host and quite nice apartment for a reasonable price. It is not the superior room but it was really clean and well-maintained (cleaning every two days with the change of towels). The kitchen was available with some kitchenware but we only ate breakfast in the apartment. The air condition working perfectly. Really beautiful garden. There is a parking space for 3 cars but it's quite tight, we managed, but there is also no problem with parking outside. The city is rather small, no beach nearby but there are a few restaurants and a supermarket.

quiet neighborhood, cleaning service every day, AC and fan, helpful owner, possibility to rent a scooter for a good price (4200 rs for 6 days), large store 5 minutes walk, good location for exploring the southwest part of the island

a mosquito net in the door would be useful, noises from the neighbors are quite audible (shower, sink, talking), there are just a few places to eat in the city,

Everything was perfect, the accomodation is well equiped and is cleaned every day. The apartment was very spacious, had everything you needed, good location near a supermarket and restaurants within walking distance. Location just perfect for trips! Parking for 4 cars, but you can also safely park on the street.

Apartment was big as was the bed. Sitting/eating on the porch was lovely. Very secure. Small washing machine available in complex. Views lovely. Cosy.

Under bed and lounge chairs needed vacuuming. Shower head sprayed directly back to the wall. Kitchen had very burred/blunt knives and only 1 small frypan and saucepan to cook with.

Great value for money, convenient location in the southwest near Le Morne. Spacious room big bed,, daily cleaning, working wi fi, parking for 3 4 cars. Restaurants and a supermarket on a walking distance.

The air con blows directly towards the bed and can't turn off automatically.

Modern, well equipped, had everything that we needed. Extremely spacious with en suite bathroom and lovely kitchen. Very clean. It was also walking distance to a big supermarket and restaurants. The owner couldn’t have been more helpful. We used the apartment as a base to walk in the black gorge park.
