Small beautiful hotel. Always enough sunbeds.

NO privacy. The hotel is open to everyone. Anyone could use its restaurant, shower, toilets, walk on the territory, look in the windows. Sunbeds are for rent. It seems like you are living in a beach club, but not in a boutique hotel. Stuff is poorly trained. Only one or two persons are really helping and doing the job perfectly (Thierry, responsible for the reception, was always doing his best to make our vacation perfect). We spent 5 nights in this hotel and every morning on the breakfast were asked the room number. If you have only 17 rooms - please, try to remember your guests. No clothes dryer. So towels and swimsuits are hanging on the chairs and tables on the balconies.

Your warm hospitality, professionalism, and genuine friendliness made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The delicious food and your attentiveness in ensuring our comfort throughout our stay were greatly appreciated. Your staff are hardworking, welcoming and could not do enough to make our holiday memorable. We are especially grateful for how you made my wife’s birthday so special—it’s a memory we will cherish forever. It’s hard to say goodbye, but we leave with such fond memories and a deep appreciation for both Sakoa Boutik and the wonderful people of Mauritius. We hope to return soon and wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else. Until then, you will all be dearly missed. Room 10.

The negative reviews about the hotel being dated and complaints about the food are completely unjustified. The food was varied every day, beautifully presented, delicious, and absolutely nom nom nom!

I had a lovely stay at Constance Sakoa Boutik. The boutique charm of the hotel made it feel cozy and personal, with a peaceful beachfront setting that was perfect for relaxation. The rooms were beautifully designed, blending comfort and style with a tropical touch. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home and VERY VERY HELPFUL! Location wise, it was the best right on one of the most stunning beaches with easy access to nearby spots. It’s the perfect spot for anyone looking for a serene, authentic escape in Mauritius.

Nothing to fault at all

Comfortable bed and fluffy pillows, free water activities, spacious patio. Close to the beach. Dinner at half board was delicious.

Our booking was cancelled twice due to "technical" problems. We booked the first night at the garden view apartment and the second one at the sea view apartment. During check in they suggested that we could stay at the sea view apartment from the beginning if we paid extra. They said that we were lucky since normally they are fully booked, but they just received one cancelation. We decided not to change anything and after a few hours they canceled our second night. The explanation from the management did not feel right. And they didn't even provide us a complimentary transfer to another hotel.

The rooms, beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable, the staff extremely polite and friendly, the location on a wonderful beach where we can snorkel just a few meters from the shore, the swimming-pool, gorgeous and perfectly adapted to young kids, the equipment provided, the sunsets from the bar and the breakfasts.

We wanted to extend our stay, rooms were available but as it was last minute, the price they offered us was almost twice the base rate despite the rooms remaining vacant, curious choice.

The resort is just amazing and we had a wonderful stay!! It's certainly like staying in paradise waking up every morning to the sound of the waves and then spending all day soaking sun on the beach. The beach facing room we were in had the most wonderful view right from the room and also the balcony. The staff were really attentive, courteous and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Special mention goes out to Tushti who was a delight to talk to and made us feel right at home. Breakfast each day was really nice and we also really enjoyed the dinners by the beach. Overall, will totally recommend this and we cannot wait to be back again!!

Fantastic location close to local shops and restaurants, and short drive to Grand Baie and other attractions in the north. The hotel itself also exceeded our expectations, the staff are wonderful and go above and beyond to help you out whether it is big or small - I got a lovely surprise on my birthday and our stay here felt very special. The hotel is on the smaller side, but felt much more personalised and friendly as the staff got to know us by name. Restaurant was good enough for us, although I could understand if some would want a more varied menu. The room was nice, quiet and spacious. Had a WiFi issue which was solved very quickly, and credit to the staff for looking into it during night hours. The beach and water here are absolutely surreal, very fine and soft sand and bright water. Plenty of sunbeds and the beach is fairly quiet. We could often see fish swimming very close to shore. Boating and diving activities were readily available. Stunning sunsets daily. A very peaceful atmosphere and again, sea views unlike anywhere I have seen.

No fault of the hotel but we did get a couple of lizards in the room somehow, couldn't get rid of them and learnt to live with it. And beach sellers could be a little too pushy. A couple of the dinner portions felt a little small, didn't fill us up after a day of activities.

Lovely small hotel with charm and great service. The location is perfect. Right on the beach with stunning views. Free use of loungers, kayak, and pedalo.

The only negative was breakfast, which was a bit hit and miss. At various times over our stay there were no plates to put your food on, fruit ran out and wasn't replaced, cooking of eggs wasn't great, orders were taken incorrectly. The overall impression was that when the hotel is busy, the breakfast crew couldn't quite cope. This is a really minor gripe - our overall stay was great and return in a heartbeat.

Food: We booked for breakfast only. They have an array of delicious cut fruit as well as fruit salad. There are two types of yogurt and at least 3 types of cereal. They have about 3 types of cheese and cold meats. Fresh croissants, baguettes and pain au chocolate is available. Each day they have a selection of 3 different Mauritian treats which included things like a custard and apple flan, samosas and other fried or baked goods. There is a choice of a variety of styles of eggs with the usual accompanyments or crepes. We had dinner at the hotel once (seafood skewers) and the food was fresh and delicious. Beach: the beach is lovely with mostly soft sand on the dry parts. As in all areas of Mauritius there is coral around and it’s best to wear water shoes if walking around in the water. They have a designated buoyed areas where you can swim without boats. Despite a number of boats being moored on the shore by the hotel there didn’t seem to be a huge amount of active boat activity. The sunsets in the evening from the beach were breathtaking. There are always towels and loungers available. Location: there are many restaurants within easy walking distance in each direction. The main Trou au Biches beach is very close and has a boat house, tour operators and taxis. There is a comprehensive supermarket about 100m away which also has nice options for souvenirs such as vanilla, spices, sugar and other trinkets as well as a pharmacy. There are more shops selling clothing and souvenirs near and on the main beach, a short walk away. Added Services: We only used the glass bottom boat as one of the free services and it was a real treat and the driver had a good sense of humour. We were extremely lucky to have dolphins in the area at the day and time we were on the boat and following a trip to the reef we went to deeper waters and caught a few glimpses of the dolphins albeit fairly far away. The driver stops on the reef for snorkelling if you like or you can stay on the boat
