My experience for 3 weeks stay at Residence Capri Mani and his wife Varsha were very helpful both were try to give us information about the bus,taxi,and surrounding area around Mont Choisy, both of them try to solve all problem without hesitation. and try to keep place neat and clean all the time.Definatley I will come to stay to this place again and refer to my friends to come and stay happily at the Residence Capri.

At the swimmingpool, furniture need to be updated and they need to put handrail to enter into the pool for safety for the elderly people.

Me and my elderly mother stayed in one of the ground floor appartments. It was very spacious, we each had our own bedroom. The living room and kitchen were large, and well equipped. The wifi worked excellent. The pool was nice. The manager Varsha is very helpful, she also cooks great evening meals if you wish. Mauritius is an expensive location and accommodation on the beach is very expensive. But by choosing this comfortable appartment, we saved so much money, that we took a 5 minute taxi ride every day to the Evacu beach club in Trou aux Biches. There we paid a small fee for a sunbed right on the beach, and enjoyed the delicious lunches offered by the restaurant. Now if you can walk well, you can reach the Mon Choisy public beach within 10 minutes. We hired a car for a few days, and we got free private parking on the property. The area of Mon Choisy and Trou aux Biches is the best part of Mauritius. The beaches are white sandy and free of sea urchins. A short drive brings you to Grand Baie for lots of excursion options and shopping. Also a day trip to the capital is easily done.

The tv worked well, i would have liked a few more channels like CNN.

Nice size apartment. plenty of hangers in the wardrobes and room to put all your stuff and cases. Iron and ironing board should you need it. Nice and quiet. Aircon worked well. Good shower water pressure with plenty of hot water. plenty of room to put all your toiletries. Nice balcony with table, chairs and clothes dryer. Pool was nice and the whole place was kept nice and clean. Bus stops at the end of the road, the timetable shows the 1st and last busses but never had to wait more than 15 mins. 2 dive centres about 30 seconds walk away,with cafe / eatery next to them. 2 minute walk to Trou aux Biches beach and about 5-7 mins walk to Mont Choisy beach. (Both great) 2km to Chez Popo supermarket can walk down the beach nearly all the way or on the road, or get a bus. SuperU supermarket in Grand Baie 4.5km and lots of other shops there too. Busses run frequently (although not late) and 30 rupees each way

Holiday was too short!

This property is excellent value for money. The apartment has everything you need and manager is on the property for any other questions or needs you might have. To go in the Port Louis/Trou Aux Bitches direction, the bus stop is 100m away. To head to Grand Baie, walk 300m away to the bus stop. The BEST beach is a 600m walk. Dont be scared to use the buses - so much cheaper and everyone is helpful and friendly. I highly recommend getting Varsha to make you at least one genuine Mauritian meal, I had 2 and they were delicious - just check the pricing first if you are on a budget ;)

I like a firm mattress but the mattress are EXTRA firm. Not a deal breaker at all but def. found them quite hard. However, it would not stop me from staying here again.

I loved this accommodation so much for my 3 week stay, I’ve booked another week longer! Perfect location, very big comfortable rooms and all facilities & equipment to make self catering just like a home from home. Good internet as I was also working remotely. The online help I received pre stay from Sailesh was 100% and he did everything possible to ensure my stay was organised for me down to allowing an early check in. The live in managers Mani & Varsha are unbelievably helpful and accommodating. I cannot fault the 3 ladies cleaning staff - who kept my lovely apartment perfect through my stay. I am def rebooking for later this year and location between Trou aux Biches and Mont Choisy is perfect for me.

My Mother and I absolutely loved our apartment number 6. Beautifully decorated, spacious and so clean/ comfortable with a beautiful balcony. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Lovely fully equipped kitchen (even has a Samsung washing machine!) dining area/ lounge and balcony. Wonderful location in beautiful safe quiet neighbourhood super close to 2 stunning family friendly beaches. The staff are utterly wonderful! Answering all my questions not just about the property but about beautiful Mauritius. Booking my taxi and more. Lovely Sailesh, Mani and his wife were exceptionally polite, professional, warm/ friendly and helpful. you will want to come again :) Thank you to Sailesh :) Thank you to Mani and your wife :) Merci!

Excellent as always. Manny and his wife is amazing, the pool is nice and clean, the location is perfect, the size of the apartment is excellent value for money.

This is a very nice apartment, they have a pool - perfect to cool down at a hot day with loungers. Mont Choisy beach is maybe a 5 Min drive away and is a beautiful beach. it is around 10 Min from Grand Baie and a big Supermarket, but here it is nice and peaceful. a small supermarket and several restaurants are close by. We loved to have a washing machine for washing our towels. They are very welcoming and can help you, they even prepare a dinner for you if you are interested (very good)

Residence Capri is by far the best place to stay in the North of the Island, and that is why this is my third time staying here. It's in a great location, within walking distance to 2 of the best beaches, Mont Choisy and Trou Aux Biches. Restaurants, a coffee shop, small supermarket, and bus stops are all within 5/10 minutes walk. Manni and Varsha are more than exceptional hosts, very professional, caring, and always available to deal with any issues (as they live on site) My apartment was exceptionally clean and had all the facilities I needed for a very comfortable stay. I had the opportunity to experience traditional Mauritian Cuisine as Varsha cooks to order and delivers very delicious/ tasty meals to your door for a great price As a single female (over 60), I felt extremely safe as Residence Capri had excellent 24-hour security. A massive thank you to Manni and Varsha as they make Residence Capri a very special place to stay. Also, many thanks to Sailesh, Sangita, and Sanjay I will definitely be returning again and again without any hesitation as I highly recommend Residence Capri

- The premium appartement is way more beautiful then the other apartments. - The hosts are very kind people. You can even order a original creole meal. - There is a restaurant and a bakery very close. - The kitchen in the premium apartment is very complete. An airfryer, proper oven, dishwasher, toaster, microwave and many more are available. - Two separate toilets.

- The tiles and beds around the pool are dated, they are not very inviting. The pool itself is very clean. - There are a lot of ants on the island. They will get in your appartement if you don't hide your food from the counter. When you remove the food and clean the counter with cleaning product with isopropyl alcohol in it (available in the supermarkets), they are no problem at all.
