Edwin at the front desk was outstanding. He helped us book an excursion and saved us money. He is honest and trustworthy. He is also the hotel manager and he and his wife are both dentists with an office located inside the hotel! The location is outstanding! Right near everything. 5 minutes to the mall, on the other side is the Marina! 10 minutes to the main beach. Just past Walmart, which is also just 5 minutes away on foot. There is no need for a car or cab at all! I give it an 8.5

The hotel has SO much potential. It just needs those gay guys from HGTV to go in there and give the place some zoozge! 😁 The beds are comfy, and there is a small fridge, but be advised that the rooms are very small. It's like perfect for one person small. We each had our own rooms, and we got used to the space right away, and everything was great from then on. Did you see the price?? Awesome value for this location!

I absolutely loved the value and the location. You can't get better than this. I was able to walk to the marina/beach and lots of restaurants and shops each day.

I did not like that the cleaning crew did not clean my room. I had to ask the front desk for toilet paper and a shower mat. I also did not like that the cleaning crew wakes up at 6am to clean the tables in the hallway because I woke up each time to screeching of the tables and chairs on the floor as they moved them.

The hotel is quaint, beautiful, comfortable, secure, location is excellent. Staff is wonderful. The new restaurant, Cordiano, is beyond amazing. The 3rd floor patio is great.

The step into the bathrooms on 2nd floor rooms is pretty high. It is unavoidable because the floors were raised to install plumbing. Adds to the charm.

Location was perfect . I had fantastic service from the staff on a personal level. My expectations were simple and this is what I received. I was content with the location, the beautiful atrium and a simple room . This hotel has NOT been a brothel for OVER 60 YEARS, but this historic , quaint and simply beautiful and restful atrium was a 'must stop here' for me.

The hotel is definitely and older building in the neighborhood but has a great location close to all the other amenities. The courtyard is secured after dark. The rooms are prefect for single and couples.

Very original hotel with a lot of character! Beautiful interior. Super friendly staff. Great location away from the tourist noise but walking distance from everywhere. Great restaurants nearby.

Loved this hotel. It was perfect as a lone traveller. It was affordable and I felt very safe. The indoor outdoor spaces were enjoyable to hang out in. When I wanted to get away from the crowds I could chill out on the roof terrace on the sun lounger or the hammock. The room was kept very clean as the cleaners came in most days. They actually changed the towels too often. The staff at reception helped with restaurant recommendations, ordering an Uber and airport shuttle. The shower was hot and of a good pressure. The location is excellent. Close to many excellent restaurants both in downtown and closer to the Marina. But far enough away that you cannot hear the music from the night clubs down the street.

I struggled to sleep through the night for some of the days. I was in a room that was opposite another room. The guests seemed to come and go throughout the night so the lights and sounds would wake me up. My fridge didn't work but there was a communal fridge in the outside kitchen which I was able to use. I wish the hotel offered water refills, even if it was charged. I didn't like I had to keep on buying plastic bottles from the grocery store.

I couldn’t work out how to work the fan or air conditioning. Instructions might have been a help. Also the step into the bathroom is too high especially after my hip replacement. Another step put in there would be so goo.

Quaint, great restaurant next door. Very quiet and authentic. Beds were.very comfortable.

The rooms are very small but worked out well for me.
