All the conveniences were on site so it wasnt necessary to go our for food if you did not want to. My husband also took advantage of the scuba diving offered right on the property. Snorkeling from the beach was also pretty good. We saw puffers and quite a vareity of fish.
The rooms are very dated but they were mostly clean so it did not impact our comfort. I did notice the floor in the bedroom area wasnt very clean and hair could be seen so I wore my sandals whenever in the room. I did love the bean bag chairs for the beach however some were very dirty and also some didnt have the full amount of fill in them so they were not comfortable. Otherwise they were very comfortable and different from just chairs.

Beach, restaurant, bar, outdoor facilities were beautiful! Staff was very nice. Sunsets there are amazing. We would go back.
Our room was very run down, although clean. The main complaint was that the shower drain was clogged, so the shallow tub area filled up quickly. They came and plunged it, which helped a little. We realized the main issue was that the tub area leaked and water was slowly seeping onto the floor. We used up a lot of towels drying the floor. Less important (since we did not spend a lot of time in the room) was that the furniture was old and battered. It was clear there had been some renovations to widen the bathroom door, but there never did the finish work, so it just looked shoddy. Still we would go back just for the great beach.

Amazing location, the bay is calm with a nice sandy beach and crystal clear waters. Incredible sunsets! All staff is super friendly and helpful. Food at dinner is good and the beach terrace restaurant is very pretty and relaxed. On Saturday we enjoyed the live music, a Cuban band. The whole hotel is super clean and the staff is cleaning and maintaining all the time. All in all we had a really great time, thank you!
The hotel rooms are quite old and outdated. Our room the Honeymoon suite is really pretty but the rooms the rest of our family stayed in needed refurbishing. Food at breakfast is OK but not as good as for dinner. A breakfast buffet or breakfast packages would have been nice.

it has an accesible beach, beautiful restaurants with ocean view and delicious food. convenient scuba dive shop as well for the divers
we couldn’t figured out how to reserve a chair at the beach. the beach is really small, and they put this gigantes sofás that apparently people reserve Weeks in advance, with no possibility of finding a shade in the beach if you are a guest. disappointed. since the beach is really small we ended sitting on the other side in the crowded “public” beach.

The location was excellent, a bit out of town, so less busy than in town. Had it's own beach, very nice clear water, there were some pebbles, I would recommend water shoes. Patio over water was beautiful, perfect for dining. Fri/Sat live music on the patio. Overall atmosphere of the hotel was very pleasant, welcoming, good vibe. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Pool area attractive, gardens/vegetation attractive and clean. I would recommend refurbishing the pool in a way that it should have a jacuzzi. The room had a wonderful view of the Sea
The hotel was a bit dated, kind of 70s style. Some neglect - pain peeling on buildings, old style bathrooms in the rooms. Why were there no chairs in the rooms? We asked for 2 chairs, the staff was very responsive and brought 2, we put one out on the tiny "patio", it was very nice to sit out there in the afternoon in the breeze. The room and the whole hotel was quite run down, but we felt that it was decent value for the money. This hotel has a lot of potential it's in a unique beautiful location but it needs to be renovated and modernized.

The beach front view could not be any more remarkable. Our room was lovely, a one bedroom suite with kitchenette, living room, 2 full bathrooms, 2 balconies. The restaurant was spectacular, great food for breakfast lunch and dinner, just donwstairs from our room, overlooking the ocean. The service all around was excellent, housekeeping, restaurant, front desk.
Within the rooms and older parts of the property, the sewage smell comes and goes. The daily housekeeping helps with this, but the smell eminates from the drains. It would not prevent me from staying again, but for the hotels sake, I hope there is a remedy. It is being addressed and there were sewage trucks doing maintenance.

La Concha is a 59 year old once a very 'grand' hotel!!! The location is wonderful, the staff is doing their best÷) the doors are super thin, take earplugs and you'll be fine! The palms are mature and grand... the pool is chilly in February ,,,towels need replacement but , the ocean is clear and clean, the beach is sandy and clean. Wonderful jazz Mexican band on Saturday night... a quiet hotel , an older hotel that still has it going on.

great location, close to La Paz and lovely beach destinations. The beach at the hotel itself was wonderful and relaxing. The sunsets were spectacular when enjoyed from the bean bags! Our son loved this hotel.
The restaurant was a bit overpriced and staff didn't seem happy about us asking to fill our water bottles. We are fine with paying for water but try to avoid purchasing plastic water bottles which pollute the environment. It would be nice if complimentary water was provided to people that bring their own bottles so tourism doesn't cause so much trash. Sometimes smelled like sewage but again, I think that should be something we as tourists are aware of that Mexico doesn't have the infrastructure to support lots of tourists using lots of resources.

Situated on a beach in La Paz Baja Sud Mexico the location was stunning. We could swim in the ocean or opt for the large and very clean pool. The restaurant was right near the water or we could have food and drinks on the beach. The bed was very comfortable. All rooms had a seaside view. The hotel is slightly older than some but very good value for money. Also the late checkout of 12pm was really appreciated.
Smoothies were only available in the morning but it would be great to be able to order one in the afternoon.

Room and restaurant were close to beach. Food was very good, bedsides breakfast. There was no traditional American breakfast option on the menu.
Restaurant inside dining was closed so it was freezing cold when we tried to eat breakfast one morning. We gave up on this. The room was close to a generator so we heard a loud hum all the time. The shower valve was hard to adjust hot and cold and it made a loud vibration at any level other than super full on, resulted in much wasted water.
