Very quiet and serene with amazing beach views being right on the beach. The setting is perfect for a quiet stay. The kitchen staff were great about making food I was able to eat and accommodating my requests. It’s a really beautiful location along this part of the Cortez sea.

The road in is a bit daunting. I suggest taking the road right up the coastline from San Jose Del Cabo harbor. Of the three it’s the best. The road over the foothills is hard to follow and a bit treacherous especially in a reg car. An suv or off-road vehicle would be best. For any of the routes. The road to and from Cabo Pulmo is slow and tedious. If you have the right off road vehicle the road would be fun.

Amazing location tucked away on the south east corner of the Baja Peninsula with remarkable beaches, wild horses, humpback whales - the Baja at its best. The hotel is a wonderful combination of styles - definitely modern and very cool but fits the environment beautifully. It is the perfect location for a music festival and this is the theme. If you want quiet, check with management about events planned during your stay. It is the perfect place for a music festival.

It's a bit rough around the edges but we call this the Baja patina. I enjoyed my stay immensely. It's a very rough long road to the hotel and I sort of wish I had been better prepared for that. My bad though. It was worth the drive.

The location is amazing. Please know what you’re getting yourself into when booking this property or anyone in East Cape. It’s very remote and there is nothing nearby, but that’s why you come here. You can watch whales swim by, play, breach, etc right from the window of your room. You can enjoy a mostly private dinner listening to the waves under some of the darkest skies you can find. It’s an adventure to get to, but worth it. Only 30 minutes from Cabo Pulmo National Park with some of the best diving and snorkeling this side of the world. The staff are incredibly friendly.

The kayaks and SUP at the property were all broke. which was a bummer. Other than that, it’s hard to complain about much given the remote nature of the hotel. Don’t come here expecting to swim at the beach in front of the hotel unless you’re a strong swimmer as the water is pretty rough, but you can get to pristine, calm waters a 30 minute drive away and there’s a nice pool you can cool off in if needed.

Awsome location on the beach, views and spectacular sunset. Staff was very helpful and so encouraging to work with us on our spanish while there. Juan at reception and Aristedes in the restaurant were terrific. Food was very flavorful and clearly the chef cares about quality, taste and presentation. Room was very clean and bed and sheets very comfortable.

The less than generous reviews posted by some who seem to expect a Los Cabos experience at a cookie cutter resort. This place is for the adventurous and for those who want a treat to get away to the Mexican Baja and can handle a rough, but incredibly scenic, drive to get there.

The room was lovely and very comfortable. The bed was probably the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Gorgeous surroundings, the pool was just right for cooling off. There were wild horses right outside our window, which was beautiful to see. All the staff were very friendly.

The property is much more remote than we realized. We booked last minute and didn't do much research. After the initial surprise, we loved being off the beaten path and away from crowds.

Understandably the restaurant must charge higher prices than in the city because everything has to be trucked in over a long dirt road. The food was excellent but you pay US prices for your meals.

location, location, location with great food & amazing staff!! This place is a hidden gem & if you want to get away from everything, relax & enjoy wildlife this is the place. We had the most delicious dinner & Margaritas & watched Whales breaching at Breakfast - JUST WONDERFUL!!!

The property’s proximity to the ocean and the distance between its nearest neighbor makes this property special to me. The energy of this place (Baja in general) and the warmness of the staff spilled over into influencing guests’ happy attitudes too!

location, location. Away from the hustle of Cabo this place calms the soul. Each room has what you need. Also the restaurant on site is top rate. And if you see a burro make sure you give him a carrot or apple and wish him safe travels.

Location driving directions were a bit sketchy. But the adventure of Vidasoul is getting there.

This is an amazing gem. It is isolated and away from everything. But it is a great get away. Amazing views of the sea of cortez. The staff is absolutely amazing. Super friendly and helpful.
