"Perfect location, perfect beach. I've traveled to great hotels around the world for years, and I have never had such an experience with such lovely staff that are so well-trained! They really care and serve you with the most wonderful attitude and treatment. The staff of the restaurant, the bar, the spa, front desk—everyone is terrific! Major congratulations go to the chef, Manuel. The food at this hotel is beyond delicious, healthy, and fresh! We had lunch at the beach club 10 times and had dinner 6 times because that’s how amazing the food is! The beach club menu is different from the hotel menu, and all the dishes we tried every day were exquisite! The menu is large enough to try different dishes every day, with plenty of options that are super tasty yet healthy and light, easy to digest—just perfect! The rooms are comfortable and stylish; the bedding and mattress quality is top-notch. I love that you have both a shower and a deep bathtub because it gets cold at night. They also vary the entertainment and have lots of parties and happenings. We extended our stay to 2 weeks because we loved it so much, and we would definitely come back!"

The hotel is adults only, but dinner time sometimes had large tables of people like the visiting band’s families and friends with very young children and babies… same with the beach club, every day there were a lot of small children and babies that were day guests and the hotel doesn’t let you reserve a bed. As a client of the hotel, I think you should get preference over day guests and be able to book because it’s stressful to get up early just to go stake your claim on a sun bed.

The property was really nice. Such a great location, and the decoration is amazing because their concept is art based. The rooms are super clean and comfortable. The service at the pool and room service was great, the food amazing. The room view and pool view is also amazing. Yoga class recommended.

The receptionist treat us not so well. We are from Colombia and we felt that they don’t treat well people from Latin America. He did not explain to us any of the spaces and activities that the hotel had, not even the breakfast hours. The only thing they told us was our room number. We had to discover by ourselves that we could take a boat and go to the Ganzo Beach or go to a yoga class. We felt a little bit disappointed with this receptionist.

The beds were so comfortable and the rooms were so clean and the little touches by the housekeeping were great. The beach is super nice. The staff at breakfast were friendly and always remembered your name which was nice.

I’m not a huge fan of the art, felt more like someone had been given a biro and allowed to graffiti. I love art but this felt a bit haphazard and an afterthought of the concept. As a solo traveller I’d have appreciated a proper introduction to the property. When I was checking out I heard new arrivals being told so much more about the facilities than I was made aware of so think front of house can be hit and miss. I didn’t know about the bikes and the trail or the events happening. When you’re on your own you need to feel included a little more and I felt like they didn’t really acknowledge that. It seemed odd to them that I was on my own if anything.

Fantastic boutique hotel in a quiet part of San Jose del Cabo overlooking the marina. The view of sunset from the infinity pool was breathtaking. Hotel design, cleanliness, service, and vibes exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back.

Poor selection of non-alcoholic drinks. I don’t drink and in general if you don’t want a margarita at 10am you didn’t have a good option. I don’t know why they didn’t offer agua fresca or fresh fruit juices, or any fun cocktails with the amazing non-alcoholic drinks that are on offer today We had the American breakfast included in our room cost but it was not that nice and we were not allowed to swap it for any of the (much cheaper!) nicer Mexican breakfast and options.

Excellent staff, services and location. We are pleased with the overall experience and looking forward to return. We loved the art around the hotel and the nice atmosphere all across. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooftop pool is nice. The hotel beach and service is outstanding. The view from every corner of the hotel is beautiful and relaxing. The rooms are spotless, bright and comfortable. Every afternoon the staff leaves a little present in our room which is such a nice touch ☀️ There are yoga classes as well as flamenco nights. We were treated with kindness and respect every single time. Wonderful people which made us feel better and happier Thank you Hotel Ganzo! 🪿🤩😂

The hot top was under maintenance. It took longer to get fixed than expected so we couldn’t get to it

Unique, artsy, boutique hotel with great vibe and charm. Wonderful location in the Marina, great to watch the fisherman and boats, the local sea lions and if lucky spot some whales splashing around outside the wavebreakers.

Inconsistency in F&B and service, especially in terms of portions sizes, flavors and attentiveness. F&B generally on the pricier side, and while all staff are wonderfully friendly, they struggle with service consistency. Spa facilities and vibe are great but for that premium price, the full body massage itself is lacking technique.

The bar on the last floor inside the pool could be better designed and built… the same about the bar on the beach. I also didn’t like that i wasn’t offered an option to have a late check out and was told my room was already booked… I’ve checked and there were plenty of room available on bookingcom and my room was absolutely the same as others on the same floor, so my particular room of course wasn’t booked and I stayed there 4 nights… not one… and also it was my first time there. If I was a manager I would please a guest and give a room at least with an additional price, I didn’t say i wanted it for free… so a big minus here guys!

We booked this spot as a layover between the airport and a retreat center up north. I was so pleased to stay in Los Cabos, the quieter, calmer version of Cabo! It put us close to some delicious tacos and the downtown area. The rooms themselves were amazing, and all the food offerings were wonderful!

We only encountered two little issues. The first was that they had difficulty finding green tea for me in the morning at breakfast, and we kept asking about it. It took them a while to mention that they couldn't find it. They also charged my credit card for the cost of the room twice, but did immediately refund the second charge.

Hotel El Ganzo is unquestionably my favorite Boutique Hotel in the Los Cabo Area. I love the artful / design touches in the lobby, the rooms are modern and well laid out, the staff is friendly and helpful, the location by the Marina is great. And of course the two pools, one on the ground level by the spa for lap swimming, and the BEST rooftop pool for lounging and watching the Cabo sunset. I will definitely return.

Location by the Marina is great, BUT it's not a walkable neighborhood. Music on the roof terrace maybe a bit loud for those who prefer a more "chilled" and "low key" ambiance.
