An amazing property , with each of the 9 rooms decorated in the style of neighbouring villages . Full of interesting and fascinating items in a beautiful courtyard . We have travelled immensely and this place goes down as one of the best . Attention to detail even to the crockery . High standard. Breakfast was excellent, fresh and well presented . Staff were very helpful and friendly with a smile to greet . Arranged a tour and taxi for us . Would totally recommend this little gem in a quiet location , yet so close to the centre . Amazing place

Absolutely nothing to dislike

Lovely hotel in the center of San Cristobal. Great location, just a few short blocks from the main square. Very nice and attentive staff, although not all speak English. Great covered courtyard for delicious breakfasts. Very comfortable and super-clean room with beautiful textiles, coffee maker, and excellent WiFi. Great bed. Staff at the hotel helped arrange car from/to airport and Tuxtla Gutierrez and solo excursion with excellent English speaking guide to Palenque and San Juan Chamula and Zinacantan. Would happily stay again.

I drove to Casa Santa Lucia and spent Christmas there. I appreciate that they have secure parking just steps away from the hotel. It was centrally located for exploring. The hotel was decorated beautifully for Christmas. The staff was very pleasant and professional. Breakfast was good (I loved the hotcakes!). Marco gave me a choice of rooms when I arrived. I can't say enough good things about the room...the furniture, photographs, candles, lighting, toiletries, thick towels, the soft linen, and all the gorgeous touches. My absolute favorite thing was the fireplace that Marco lit for me every night. I've always dreamed of having a fireplace in my room. Heaven!

This hotel is absolutely special. From the moment we arrived, we were met with open arms and received top-notch service. The manager, Freddy and his team— Marco, Adelina, and Daniel anticipated our every need and were kind and attentive. The rooms were clean, safe and just overall amazing. The breakfast provided every day was delicious. My mom tried all of their plates but I was obsessed with their Hot Cakes(Pancakes). They were fluffy, tasty and light. Did I mention their orange juice is organic and hand squeezed? I can't say enough about our amazing experience! If you're looking for a hotel to stay in San Cristobal- don't look anywhere else. This hotel is 10/10 all around. I'm already planning another trip next year!

We stayed in the suite and it was well worth it had 2 fireplaces and a jacuzzi tub. Every night we’d ask the staff to build us a cozy fire and prepare a hot cocoa. Freddy was wonderful helping us with all our needs. The breakfast each morning was terrific and included a cappuccino. Good value.

You have to ring a bell to enter. Which was a but of a hassle in the torrential rain storm would have preferred to have a code or a buzzer that let us in.

Charming little hotel a short stroll from the main square. Rooms were large with lots or artwork and antiques. Breakfast was included and it was substantial with plenty of options. The hotel was very quiet although there were obviously other guests it was very peaceful. All the staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful. Felt very safe, front door was locked and you had to knock to be let in.

The interior of the hotel is charming, featuring beautiful decor and intricate details inspired by Chiapas art and culture. The patio area enhances the experience, providing a delightful setting for enjoying the delicious breakfasts. Our room, overlooking the patio was also very memorable inspired by Antigua, Guatemala.

Very good hotel, one person spoke good English. Nice staff, very good breakfast. During the owner's birthday, we were invited to the mariachi concert.

On the first day, we were given a room without an external window (although it was supposedly 5 stars hotel) and with a very cold bathroom. Fortunately, on the second day we managed to change the room to another one and remain in a good atmosphere until the end.

We had a fabulous stay. Casa Santa Lucia is so welcoming, charming and the breakfast is delicious. The location is perfect with a short walk to the best restaurants and site seeing. The accommodation is amazing with its local artisanal décor and the most divine toiletries. The staff are so helpful from late night drinks at the bar to preparing a packed lunch for our travels when we left very early in the morning to travel to Oaxaca. The hospitality was excellent and the staff certainly go out of their way to assist and always on hand. I can't wait to return someday.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The shower pressure was great. The location was very convenient for walking around San Cristobal.

It would have been nice to be able to open a window in the bedroom. The dining area was a little chilly, but fine with a jumper.
