check in wasn't the easiest (paid for early check in but upon arrival we weren't exactly sure what to do/where to go) shower spilled over into the main bathroom and it made the bath mat very damp (have reported this to the staff and they've mentioned they will implement a new step to prevent this) as mentioned in other reviews, there are a lot of additional things to pay for however it is worth it for the cheap price the laundry is expensive but very good quality

Very clean, welcoming and cozy. The room made us feel like home. There’s was a great attention to details and very nice taste in the furnitures too. The host was extremely nice as he was available with guidance and recommendations on activities. Highly recommended!

We booked this place very last minute after another booking didn’t work out. We were so happy that we did. We had the Bambu apartment, it was really charming, lots of character. The street outside is pedestrianised and is very quiet, with lovely views. The apartment is comfortable. The shower is fantastic. We have been travelling with our family on an extended trip and this was the best value accommodation we have stayed in 10 months. Our kids absolutely loved it.

We had a really lovely stay. Very comfortable for my family (myself and my 2 children aged 12 and 15). Good facilities and really appreciated the flexible check in after a long, night bus trip to get to San Cristobal. The WhatsApp channel works really well, with super fast response times, when you have wifi. But as we are travelling internationally, we didn't always have wifi and so that was a bit hard to communicate detail for check in. Fabulous location on the steps of Avenue Cristobal Colon, close to centro and 20minute walk from ADO bus station. A bit hard to find the entrance (it's at bottom of steps) when we first arrived.

staff helpful, responded when we needed something. location is very good, a lot of places around in walking distance. room is spacious and quiet.

to have soap, shampoo and towels right away without asking them specifically every time you need something, a bit inconvenient. facilities could use a bit of maintenance.

The Suites were comfortable, convenient and secure. Easy walking to the Centro, the restaurants, markets etc. It’s a big open space and the furniture is laid out into rooms but there are no dividing walls except into the toilet. Works well. Nice view out over the city and to the hills from our audited. Good bed and couches. The kitchen has a gas hob, a micro and a small oven/toaster and fridge so pretty well set up if you want to cook. The only disappointing thing is that it has these facilities but does not provide the utensils for cooking. Very basic plates, cutlery, pots and nothing else. A few more basics would make it a 10. No kettle but we have found that’s fairly standard in Mexico. Communication is by WhatsApp and our contact was very attentive and gave us lots of information. At times a little baffling and I was unsure what was included in the price and what wasn’t. Outer and inner door key pad lock so very secure.

Location was excellent, everything you needed was within a few blocks, View was amazing, WIFI was strong. In house water system is rare and appreciated. Very Unique property. Host Communication and directions were outstanding.

Bed was very low to the ground, some kitchen basics were missing, bowls, pots and pans, but cups, glasses plates and silverware were available. Except for soap in shower no shampoo, but we knew that going in and were prepared.

Fantastic position in beautiful building, easy walk to restaurants, markets the main cathedral etc. The staff were really helpful and set up WhatsApp contact which worked really well. Unit was cleaned daily. We were also able to store luggage (at a small cost) until late departure of our bus from San Cristobal.

The kitchen could have been a little better equipped for self catering.There were no bowls & the frying pan was tiny and in need of replacement. The bed was not terribly comfortable.

Amazing location, on beautiful famous steps, quiet and peaceful, close to wonderful cafes and bars, but only a short walk to the louder touristic streets. Room was spotless and cleaned every day. Very spacious, strong WiFi, gorgeous courtyard and quiet communal area with seating where one can work.

Spa, jacuzzi, gas hob etc is charged extra but the microwave was enough for us. Mayan massage was easily arranged and very nice, perhaps not as good value as elsewhere. Room was a little cold for our liking, so next time we would ask about the fire heater situation. Plenty of shared sunny places outside though.

- communication per WhatsApp was pretty good - the house has a really cool aesthetic - they let us have a free late check out - hot water and good water quality - really nice massage

- there was never anyone at the reception - washing service was quite expensive
