Fantastic location and the staff were always very helpful and friendly. The breakfast included was always delicious and the coffee was some of the best we tried! We loved that the apartment was spacious and had 2 lovely bathrooms. They provide cosy blankets so we weren’t cold at night!

The kitchenette seemed to be lacking a stove top and pans so we couldn’t make any hot water for teas. The apartment is colder than outside so wrap up warm!

We loved our stay there!! TAMY is a great manager!! she was there available for us all day long!! she was also the one that was waiting for us late at night the day we arrived. It was like having a personal tourist guide and friend because she helped us out even when we were looking for tours and transportation. Also the breakfast is delicious!!

The only problem is that the contact they have for Karla Contreras never answers the phone nor the WhatsApp or conventional texts. We were very worried because we did not know if the hotel was going to be opened, we were even planning to find another hotel urgently because we arrived late at night that day! Hopefully Tamy was waiting for us even at 22:30 h and everything went well.

The hotel is right in the heart of San Cristobal's walking street , with restaurants , posherias and shops just outside. It was quiet , comfortable beds, with hot water if you let the shower run for a few minutes . A tour shop was next door and we booked our visit to Sumeridor Canyon there .

Big, clean room with hot shower. It took a long time before the water got hot, so we wasted a bit of water. The bed was comfortable and staff really friendly and wished me welcome on a chalkboard wich was really kind.

The room was very moist and smelled a bit off fungus. No parking.

It is somewhat loud in the morning, so suggest any light sleepers to take earplugs. However, personally would not stop me from going again.

Location was perfect, right along a pedestrian street (so no traffic noise whatsoever), a short walk to the two main squares and the market, and in the midst of amazing restaurants and shops. The included breakfast was delicious and the restaurant and view from the restaurant were beautiful. The room itself was trendy and artsy, with a nice cool tile floor, artwork, and decorative light bulbs. Friendly staff.

It hurts me to say this because we loved La Tozi so much, but the bar/restaurant next door played loud music until around 11pm. 11pm isn't that late but one morning we had to get up at 3:45am for our trip to Agua Azul and Palenque so had gone to bed early hoping to get some extra sleep before 11pm. Also, it did take about 5 minutes for the water in the shower to warm up.

A hidden gem! This clean hotel is in the middle of the most busy and fun street of san Cristobal but it is super quiet here! The beds are comfy and we had a good stay here. Good value for the money.

No facilities; no bar, restaurant, shop or whatsoever.. but this you can find just around the corner so no problem for us!

the only thing I will mention is ask how to use the outside key as it is hard. also if you leave early in the morning you will need to get outside using the key so speak to staff. I

Our stay at La Tozi could not be better. We went to San Cristobal to get away for a few days, and we found a welcoming, bright, place to rest, work and just be! The rooms were cozy and perfect to relax at night time and for midday naps. The food was out of this world, and the breakfast was solid -- eggs, fruit, pancakes. The guys at the restaurant will take care of you like nowhere else. The terrace is great for an afternoon drink, but also to just sit, read, write, think. We used our week there to combine work with relaxation, and it worked. The strength of the wifi was excellent (just a little weak in the rooms, but why would you want to be in your room when you can be enjoying the views from the restaurant?) But what truly makes this the best place ever, is the staff, and in particular, Tamara. Tamara took care of us all the time, made sure we were comfortable, sharing tips, but also just being there, being the amazing person she is. La Tozi has a top manager there --- and someone who is caring and loving that you will miss the second you leave. If I ever go back to San Cristobal, it will be for how the people at La Tozi made me feel. So yes, go to San Cris, stay at La Tozi, but be prepared to be dazzled by the wonderful team that makes it the place it is.

I hated having to go back to the real world. Being at La Tozi feels now like a dream.
