The hotel was clean and quiet. The location is excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was very convenient to have an attached restaurant. The decor was very nice. It was a good value for the money.

They really need to upgrade the mattresses. They are not at all comfortable!

Location was excellent, within walking distance from all the wonderful views and places in the city and the staff was super friendly and helpful.

We were happily surprised and loved our stay here. The spacious room and the entire hotel are gorgeously appointed, and close to everything. Breakfast was delicious and generous. Water was in constant supply so no hunting for shops and dragging water home. I would happily stay here again.

The staff at the front desk could be more friendly. For such a gorgeous hotel, we found it strange that there seemed to be so little warmth coming from the front desk over our stay.

Location was pretty good - walking distance to the zocalo, restaurants etc. Room was clean and comfortable, staff friendly. Breakfast was filling and tasty

The room was noisy early in the morning(s) from what appeared to be other guest leaving and/or staff. There was constant music on in the restaurant and courtyard which was a bit annoying to us.

The room was quite big and the beds were comfortable. The decor in the room was beautiful, as was the hotel's covered courtyard. It was quiet. The check-in was efficient and the staff helpful.

The room had no windows on the outside and insufficient ventilation. It felt a bit stuffy. The only windows opened onto the inner, covered courtyard. The safe was installed on top of the wardrobe, in a very inconvenient location. The included breakfast was unremarkable. (I wish I had opted out and went to a cafe instead.)

Our rate included dinner & breakfast; dinner was good quantity, good tasting and quite well presented. Breakfast was a standard American breakfast (from the menu) including eggs any style and brewed coffee. Location was excellent, only two blocks from the pedestrian boulevard that crosses the town's historic center. The hotel seems to be an old colonial house very well maintained and decorated. Room was ok, all you need, colonial style, wool blankets; no air conditioning & no heating; as some guests could resent this, we suggest checking the ambient temperature spread as we had around 32-34 C during the day and 11-13 C during late night and early morning. Nevertheless, during the day, the house is cool by design as typical of those old houses.

Rooms are no sound insulated at all. As they face the central house open patio (by the way nice and beautiful), you can hear most conversations in the area, specially by night.

This is a pretty hotel and is very centrally located a couple of streets away from the main road with bars and restaurants. the family room was very comfortable and a lovely big bed that was hard to get out of! We enjoyed an evening using the jacuzzi bath in the bedroom too! Breakfast and dinner was included and these were very nice.

On our first night the room was noisy because it is situated directly above the restaurant where there was a private function. The hotel only allows you to select 2 people for the family room on Booking.com so they charged us extra when we arrived as 3 people.

The location is perfect, with everything on walking distance. The rooms are comfortable and the small plaza is a very nice place to sit for a drink or a game. As there are very few parking spots available in the narrow streets, if you come by car it is big plus that the hotel has some own parking.

This was one of the best hotels we stayed in Mexico during our 2 week stay. The hotel is located very close to the city center, less than 10 minutes walking distance. The rooms were very clean and had all necessary amenities. The staff were very accommodating and professional.

Very pretty courtyard. Big bed. Provided us with extra blankets. Clean good shower. The tour operator is part of the hotel and organised a trip to see the waterfall which was excellent. It has a restaurant we used for breakfast once, which was nice. Good location walkable to the main square with lots of restaurants and bars. Excellent free walking tour.

Room opened up into the courtyard bit intrusive. The reception staff spoke very little English.
