We actually got upgraded to a Superior Suite (that's because they messed up initially and double booked us) and we loved that room. Do to their mistake, they also provided us a free mezcal tasting (although a little skimpy on the mezcal) and decorated our room for our honeymoon. We loved the included breakfast in the mornings and the staff was very helpful.

As mentioned, they double booked us. We spent our first night in an entirely different sister hotel down the block. It was not great at all (was also the first night of our honeymoon). However, they did what they could to make up for it, so I will give them credit for that.

Unbeatable location, very professional staff, the breakfast was one of the most hearty hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had. It felt very safe as a solo traveler. Loved the lemon water and little chocolates they leave as a welcome gift. The design of the rooms was very modern and lovely.

The amenity kit provided was super basic bar soap and cheap lotion in a dispenser. Not what was advertised at all, and doesn’t reflect the price of the hotel. The bed was a little saggy on one side and the pillows offered no support. It is a little pricey for what is offered, before it’s a very nice hotel.

The breakfast was SO delicious. We started every morning with the Cantera 1910 breakfast and enjoyed the fresh coffee and fruit, and each got a different entree each morning. It was beautiful and quiet on the terrace and our waiter was always so friendly and helpful. It was one of the best aspects of the hotel to be able to get something in our stomachs without needing to leave the hotel.

The checkout process was a little slow and we missed our Uber because it was taking so long. I think part of the issue was a language barrier, but generally speaking, we were able to communicate well with the staff, even with limited Spanish skills on our part.

It is service exemplaire! They thought about everything so you don’t have to. You arrive to the most soothing relaxing smell with nature music on TV as soon as you enter your room. Made me want to return to the room many times during the day to harness that feeling. Chocolates on arrival! They provided loofah for shower and the breakfast either in the terrace or the restaurant across was perfect to start your day. It was so central we passed by the hotel multiple times without meaning to. You turn the corner and you are in the plaza with access to all panaderia, coffee and hot chocolate. I will not hesitate to recommend this hotel to my most meticulous friends.

Beautiful property in a great location. Staff always available and so helpful. The room was large and tasteful. The atmosphere was serene and peaceful. I had a wonderful time in San Miguel and this hotel was a highlight of my experience. The breakfast was lovely and the terrace was a relaxing space to enjoy each morning.

It would have been nice if the breakfast hours started earlier to accommodate early risers. I had an early pick up time at 9 and missed the breakfast. They were kind to wrap up a pastry and fruit but it would have been nice to have something more substantial to eat. I had to run to a coffee shop to get a sandwich to take with me.

The location is excellent! The hotel is very close to Canal Street and the Main Square. It is very modern and clean! It is architecturally very interesting! The staff are great and so helpful! They arranged for a car to pick me up at Leon Airport (and take me back!) at a price that was very reasonable. There is a rooftop bar/restaurant that is wonderful! And has a great view! Excellent menu, delicious drinks, and very reasonable prices. This roof top restaurant is where the breakfast (included) is served! I will certainly stay there on my next visit!

Can't really think of much. I don't know if there is an elevator if that is an issue for some.

I didn’t like the air conditioning unit. It didn’t work that great (I did not mention this to the staff) but without it on, the room was stuffy. I didn’t like the restaurant across the street with my free breakfast charged me for another cup of coffee for my husband and I went I told them the coffee they served was only warm & not hot. They should have replace the warm coffee with hot rather than charging me 50 pesos x 2. That wasn’t right. I only paid because the staff at the hotel was so kind. But, I did mention to the staff when I was checking out what happened with the coffee. Other than this, the hotel is very nice and hotel staff very kind.

Location was perfect to explore San Miguel de Allende on foot. Beds were comfortable and the hotel was quiet and lovely. Staff were also very helpful.

Our room was lovely but the bed/seating space was a little tight to handle 2 suitcases and the layout was a bit awkward. That said, the bath/dressing area was very comfortable. Hotel also charged us 500 pesos for service fees which surprised us at checkout. Not sure how it was calculated (per day or per room) but it wasn’t totally unreasonable for 3 night stay so we didn’t contest (although we did retrieve tip we had left for room service).

This is a beautiful property. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. It’s quiet and yet, centrally located. The amenities — from house slippers to spa bath sheets. — are unexpected as are the chocolates upon arrival. It’s clean and a lovely home away from home when visiting San Miguel.

The only thing that I didn’t love about the property was the exposure of the courtyard when it was raining. There is no way to exit the rooms without getting wet.

- Staff was helpful and allowed us to switch rooms when we told them about the bathroom and air conditioning situation. - Second room was much better and was a bit larger. Room 03. - Beds were comfortable.

- The first room we stayed at had a glass door in the bathroom so there was 0 privacy when traveling with a girlfriend. On top of that the air conditioning didn't work and it was really hot in the room. Room 09. - The rooms are a little small when traveling with lots of luggage - Breakfast is included but gratuity isn't (so technically it's not free).
