The grounds were beautiful and well kept. The location to the city center also made for a short walk to the city center.

The room was a little outdated and could use a renovation. The bathroom fixtures were old looking, the tv was small, and the air conditioning was old.

location was good. I walk a ;ot so I did not mind walking to the city center, about half mile away. Room was great. Big and comfortable. Pool was just ok.

My only complaint was that there was construction. THE ONLY COMPLAINT. It was so dusty, I got a cough and needed medication and a mask. Oh, I wish they had a frig and coffee maker in room.

Lovely atmospheric hotel very close to the centre with a parking (not easy to find in San Miguel). Very beautiful grounds that made our children happy and us assured that they are safe outside. Attentive and unintrusive staff. Good quality hot water shower (again, not a given in Mexico, even in good hotels). Decent wi-fi. Comfortable beds.

It may get a bit chilly at night, even with the warm airconditioning on.

This is one of my most favorite hotels in San Miguel because it represents Mexican culture's deep tradition of welcome. They have maintained an historic ambiance that is beautiful to experience. The quality of the service and cleanliness are impeccable, and the hotel is directly across the street from the beautiful Instituto Allende, and is surrounded by fabulous gardens.

We didn't eat the breakfast because it seemed a little pricey, but ended up paying similar at another breakfast so I wish we would have eaten here.

The air conditioner blew on my husband on and off all night, which made him sick. It only hit one side of the bed, so it didn't blow directly on me.

The property spacious with nice landscaping statues, benches, flowers. The lobby very large and clean and nicely furnished. Nice restaurant and friendly staff. Food was good. Breakfast buffet on weekends. The pool was great with lounge chairs and water was pumped with warm water. Bedrooms were spacious and very clean.

It was okay that there were aerobics classes in the pool but it wasn’t fair that guests staying there could barely swim in pool while aerobics going because of outsiders coming for aerobics. Sometimes there were two sessions on same day.

Beautiful place, rooms were clean attractive and comfortable, the pool is definitely a wonderful feature. The staff were friendly and very attentive. Israel was super attentive at breakfast, wonderful buffet breakfast on weekends. The location was great, walking distance from center, and parking.

I love everything about Posada de la Aldea, it's crispy clean, confortable, an in a great location and top it all up the architecture and amazing gardens for an amazing price no other hotel can top that.

Nothing, I loved everything about this hotel and I would come back again for a longer stay.

I had stayed here before, for a wedding. Its a nice and quiet location. Friendly staff and they have a restaurant, heated pool (which is relaxing) and spa onsite as well. Walking distance to the main square and across the street there is a restaurant named "Hecho en Mexico" which i recommend. I returned with friends and it was their 1st time to SMA and they were pleased to have stayed there.

Pre-pandemic the restaurant had breakfast, lunch and dinner. When I was there June 2022 it was only open from 8-12p. Besides that I personally dont have negative things to say. We had a great stay.

The location is pretty comfortable, has large parking lot and just outside the narrow street in the center of city making arriving with car with no issue. It is like 8mins walking distance to the center so perfect. The garden is just so gorgeous and super well maintained. The room is very clean and with double window so is very quiet in the evening

The main building where the room is located is a bit old style. Decoration and furniture are old, the AC position is not very comfortable. But does not matter that too much for us.
