The room was very comfortable; great king bed. The staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. The breakfasts were good, though anything beyond their offered items was an extra cost.

The shower had terrible pressure. There was enough hot water so one could shower, but just barely. Also, the hotel was significantly downhill from the Principal Plaza, so it was a bit of a trek to reach some of the town's major attractions. Not a big deal, but the sidewalks being very narrow, and cobblestone, with lots of automobile traffic, made each morning's excursion more difficult.

Nice boutique hotel. Location was fine, only 5-8 minute walk to Plaza Principal (The Jardin) and main parroqia church. Walking 10-15 minutes will get you to the Biblioteca Publica, the other key churches, Instituto Allende, Jardin Juarez, and El Chorro. Note that walking is a challenge due to very narrow sidewalks and lots of uneven pavement, cobblestones, holes in walkways, etc. The hotel is cute in that each room has a name instead of a number. From hotel's inner courtyard, there are steps up and around to each room with common / shared patios and tables and benches to relax outside. Our room (Alcotraces) and bathroom were nice (but limited counter space in bathroom--so tight for two). Room included a small couch and comfy chair. Hotel staff were very helpful and courteous, especially breakfast staff. Breakfast was included in the rate and it was very good. For a small additional charge, we could get cappuchino (vs. brewed coffee) as well as special items like tamales and french toast (highly recommended).

Only minor inconveniences. Room safe was handy, but it was very small (ipad or laptop would not fit). Also an electrical upgrade is needed to add more plugs for laptops and phone chargers. Be careful moving around, there are lots of steps to trip on when moving from one room to another (surprise and uneven steps are problematic everywhere in San Miguel de Allende). No elevator, so not great for those with limited mobility. We are not in that category, but they still helped us carry our bags to room.

Adorable! All the rooms are separated by stairs or terraces. Each room had its own outdoor area. Mine had a balcony. Good location within walking distance to Centro and many sites. Staff was so helpful! Notable pride in service. The front desk even loaned me an umbrella for the unexpected May shower.

The stairs, lol. They are what helps give it the charm, but I tend toward the lazy. Also just know that the parking is offsite. They are good about telling you to give them notice when you need your vehicle. I did just this and mine was delivered exactly on time!

The breakfast was simply perfect and delicious. There was a choice of fresh juice, coffee and a plate of beautiful fruit was served. There were several items to choose from and everything was cooked perfectly. It was the favorite part of our day. The breakfast area is always cool and relaxing and the servers were amazing!

Our room was near a rooftop bar that was open until 3:00 am. The laughter and talking carried into our room. We managed it by closing the window, turning on the AC and playing white noise on our phones. I would stay there again so it wasn’t too bad.

Breakfast was great - I think it would be nice to have one or two more options that is not extra charge. The staff is EXCELLENT. We asked for some kind of breakfast to be prepared for the next morning because we have to leave at 5:30 before breakfast was served and the reception person gave us some fruit, coffee and juice. Very nice!

It was just a little dark inside but otherwise a lovely space throughout.

The room was very clean, comfortable, & spacious. The hotel is small and intimate. It has a small restaurant providing breakfast and simple lunches. My husband had been hospitalised in san Miguel & it was perfect for my needs - just a 10 minute Uber ride away. It’s also just a few minutes’ walk from the town centre.

I had lots of trouble with intermittent wifi in my room. I had staff reboot it once but it continued to drop out.

The staff at the hotel were always friendly and helpful. They allow me to store my suitcase in their premises before the check in time so I could so I could do business meetings elsewhere in the town. Once I checked in later, I needed a desk to do my work and they found one and brought it to my room for me. Also, the breakfast is pretty good and varied, and lunch options are also tasty and very reasonably priced.

Villa Mirasol is a wonderful budget hotel in San Miguel de Allende. The rooms were extremely clean and spacious and the breakfast included in your rate was wonderful. Also, the hotel staff are very accommodating and friendly. If I go back to SMA, I would definitely stay here again.

It would have been nice if they could have provided a crib for our room since we were traveling with our 4 month old daughter.

The room was very clean when we got there, we got a short tutorial on how things worked around, the staff cleaned the room everyday and the room was very authentic and comfortable. The staff there was super helpful and kindhearted. I do believe it is definitely worth the stay here, as everything was nearby and beautiful.

The hotel provides exceptional service. Upon arriving by taxi, the staff was proactive in assisting us with our luggage, and the front desk recognized us promptly, ensuring a swift check-in process. The room is spacious and equipped with air conditioning. We reserved a king-size bed, which was exceptionally large. Additionally, the hotel's location is conveniently close to numerous restaurants and downtown.

Wifi could sometimes be slightly slow but is still acceptable. Other than this, everything is perfect!
