The location couldn't be beat! it is only 3 blocks from the Parroquia. We were there during the Day of the Dead celebrations and the hotel decorated the entrance. The staff were friendly, always greeting us each time we entered. The historic building is made of stone and quite beautiful. There were great views of the city. Our room was away from street noise.There were numerous outdoor sitting places filled with well-cared for plants. The rooms were kept immaculate, with floors and all surfaces cleaned every day. Breakfast was an extra charge, but generous and tasty. We would stay there again and recommend it to others who want a taste of the past.

The plumbing is old and the toilet was noisy. The sink drained slowly.

The location could not be improved on. It is a few minutes by foot from the centre of San Miguel. The management is very attentive and aim to please (we had a problem with our bed the first night and they took care of it immediately.) The layout of the hotel is ... for lack of a better word, charming.

I wish the restaurant/bar had stayed open a bit longer.

Location, location, location, and the staff is so friendly and accommodating. A cool property architecturally, kind of like an Escher drawing. Pretty much walking distance to everything. And some nice sunset views.

Location, amazing staff (very diligent, kind, and helpful), the building had a lot of charm and little areas to wander and explore. Ample parking (though I did not have a car), loved all the tile work.

Very low water pressure in the shower, water warm-hottish after 5 minutes. Though shower area itself is beautifully tiled.

Location is great- it is close to Jardin de Allende, and San Antonio, so I could go to many restaurants and events easily. Facility is beyond expectation- there are many type of rooms, they are simple and clean, especially I like the brightness and window in bathroom.

The entire hotel was spotlessly clean the entire time I was there. I never saw even a mosquito or any sort of bug. The rooms were cleaned and fresh linens were provided every day whether I needed it or not. Top marks!

The dining room wasn't open on Tuesday morning but there are many, many places to eat within easy walking distance.

Everyone was helpful, friendly, and always available. The hotel was clean and well-cared for. The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the main plaza. It was also only a 10-15 minute walk from the bus station.

The service was that of a five star hotel. Especially Rafael who made me feel welcome all the time and was incredibly helpful and accommodating

Jose the manager was very welcoming and helpful. He was eager to assist in any way. This made the visit a very positive one.

Close to the historical centre but quiet at night. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The was big but poorly equipped. The whole place needs maintenance.
