coffee not served early - in lobby, etc. restaurant opens at 8am so early risers need earlier coffee. room has little privacy - patio traffic and lights on at night, make the room not best for sleeping. Had to request that the night lights be turned off several times. due to different staff on night duty.

The property’s layout is unique, felt like you were a million miles away. Other guests were very friendly as well as all the staff. All the staff was great except for a snarky chef who didn’t let us have coffee before 8 am! The plants the uniqueness of the room layout with little balconies. Quaint and quiet

water pressure was poor , it would be sooo nice to have access to a microwave for late night tea drinkers and early morning coffee needs before the restaurant opened.

I have taken several groups of friends to San Miguel de Allende for several years. Each hotel has lacked in some area but this one was good in every area. It is charming with attention to detail. All of the plants and sitting areas are delightful. It is a 2 block walk to the main square and it is relatively flat. The breakfast is good. There are rooms on the main level if anyone has mobility issues. I will be using this hotel again when I take groups. My groups are small. Never more than 12 people.

I liked everything about this hotel.

The location was excellent across the street from the beautiful Parque Benito Juarez. The views on Aldama street (where this hotel is located) looking towards the cathedral are Instagram worthy. The food and service at their restaurant were excellent and very affordable.

The facilities were a bit old. Beds were uncomfortable. There was no fan nor air conditioning (at least in my room.)

INCREDIBLE. The staff was incredibly sweet and kind. The place was absolutely beautiful and well kept. Just because it’s old school doesn’t mean it’s out of date. I will not be searching for other hotels when I go to San Miguel because I want to stay at Mansion del Bosque every trip. The street lead directly to the church. Beautiful, simple and affordable. Don’t look anywhere else.

La Mansión del Bosque Is in a great neighborhood, quiet but also central, close to the square and other interesting parts of town. The hotel is pretty and cosy. There is a good breakfast as an option. We really liked our room, which was clean, spacious, and had a really nice shower. The staff is very nice.

Instead of wooden doors, some rooms have glass doors covers by thick beige curtains, which are a little awkward to maneuver when opening and closing the door. We thought that didn't have enough privacy or darkness so we moved rooms. So I would just consider that when choosing a room. .

Such a beautiful property, gardens, and old architecture. Helpful staff, the breakfasts were great, location half a block from Benito Juárez, park, two blocks from the Centro Zocalos and cathedral, was perfect!

Really nice room with view to the beautiful garden. Quiet place.

A little tricky with parking, a guy parks is somewhere and brings it back. You have to give notice 30 min before you want to leave for the car to be ready.

Excellent breakfast served every day. And wow... the location was simply great. Easy access to restaurants, shopping and all the festivities. San Miguel is a wonderful walking town! This is the 4th time I've stayed at La Mansion del Bosque and I love it!
