Beautiful hotel! The location was great, an easy walk to so many things. The room was clean and beautiful, with a comfy bed (firm mattress) and bedding. The bathroom was so gorgeous, with its tile work and cultural elements. There was the opportunity to make coffee, tea, or water and have snacks of fruit and cookies, free of charge, in the sitting area on the floor outside our room.

The restaurant was only open occasionally. On our first morning, a Saturday morning, there was no breakfast served. We ate one meal in the restaurant and it was very good. We would have preferred to eat breakfast there each morning but it wasn’t available.

Quietly elegant rooms with Mexican colonial flair. Staff is tremendous. Friendly and helpful.

No restaurants super close. Their rooftop restaurant is open only certain days and only for breakfast on Sunday. Gorgeous rooftop though. Fairly close The Rosewood and The Ancha for small restaurants and shops.

I really liked the building, it's beautiful. Overall, we had a very nice stay and the rooftop restaurant is delicious.

The staff was super nice to us except for the person who covers the night shift (we got there a little after 1am and he was a bit rude when we asked him about valet parking). For the price we paid I had expected better bathroom accessories (shampoo, conditioner, etc).

There is no breakfast at the hotel, just lunch and dinner. There is coffee in the room. Sergio, at reception, suggested a tasty, nearby restaurant. Hotel staff is wonderful. Beautiful, newer building designed with respect to the past...charming and everything worked! Close enough to walk to el centro , but much quieter. The park is nearby. There are several other nice hotels nearby. Would love to enjoy El Golpe deVista on a future stay.

The addition of breakfast would be nice, but the roof top restaurant might be too noisy for hotel guests in the early morning hours. There is a Sunday brunch.

Great location, concierge was very helpful - texted us beforehand to assure we had everything we needed. Quickly responded with any questions. Helped arrange transport for us. Roof top bar/restaurant was great. Comfortable bed. Beautiful lobby. Water bottles replenished daily.

No crib available for baby. A bit noisy in the master suite as it was under the restaurant, which closes at 10 pm (totally fine for most people, although we had a baby with an earlier bed time). Elevator stopped working a few times, fixed fairly quickly.

The property has amazing views. It is within walking distance of city centre. The hotel’s restaurant is great. The property is very clean and the staff all around are very polite, friendly, and helpful. We definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to experience the true essence of San Miguel de Allende.

The rooms are large, well decorated and the beds are quite comfortable. The location is very good -- the rooftop restaurant has great a fantastic view.

We were initially placed in the "apartment", a windowless room in the basement. What bothered in that room is that one could hear the sounds coming from the water pipes. We asked to move rooms and they accommodated this request immediately.

The hotel is tranquil and offers outstanding views, and the bedrooms are perfectly sized and comfy. With only eight rooms in total, guests receive personalized attention.

wish we could've stay longer

We were greeted by the receptionist Samantha on our first day and were surprised to hear we were upgraded to the master suite. From that moment on the staff was extremely welcoming and kind to us. They never disturbed our stay and would notice when we left the hotel, then when we came back everything was clean and tidy without asking. Wonderful location, easy to walk everywhere and far enough away from main places so that it was quiet every night.

Seriously amazing hotel. Architecture design and views are stunning. Every single person of hotel staff was welcoming, charming, and ready to help at all times. Rooftop restaurant drinks were beautiful crafted and refreshing to match the incredible views. Room 4's bathroom is huge and tub is gorgeous. Shared photos with my friends and they all were very jealous. Awesome stay in a wonderful city.

Perhaps breakfast should be included in the hotel rates. Most hotels in SMA of this high caliber offer free breakfast for their guests.
