I loved the location. It's right on the bridge between the Center and La Zona Romantica, plus just off the boardwalk/ocean. Perfect location. The bridge is really busy and I would have found it extremely difficult to sleep without my ear plugs. The pool and rooftop hangout were awesome. There's a popular restaurant on the roof that many locals frequent, so you know it has to be good. Cheap beer and frozen margs. The bed was comfy and the room was spacious. I would stay here again.

The first shower I took was amazing and there was plenty of hot water but I wasn't able to take any more hot showers after the first day. I tried a few different times of day and could only get cold water. The Wi-Fi doesn't work in the rooms, and barely works on the roof. It works in the lobby and the mezzanines.

A little dated, coffee maker not working, no lamps in rooms. Could have done with mini fridges in the rooms.

My wife and I had dental work done in the immediate area. Our son joined us. He lives a far way from us and this doubled the time we see him in a year. One has to accept this is an older building. We have stayed in other properties in the area, and found it to be the best value at the price point. An AirBnB may suit some people more but that is preference.

.Not all your rooms are as good as the one we had this year. Our son was also very happy with his room. Two improvements, service was slow at the restaurant some days, but after a week it was easy to see why. The number of customers could vary at any time any day. Booking is somewhat confusing. Direct contact with the hotel was impossible for us from Canada.

Location was very good - close to beach, restaurants, OXXO, bus, banks, etc. Pool was very cool (not heated) - had to get used to that. Room was nice with wrap around balcony. Shower had hot water all the time. Very nice room attendants. Liked having purified water available in jug on my floor but was not cold.

Not allowed to bring friend to have a beer on my balcony. Friend could only visit in lobby. Noise from traffic started early in morning (7:30 a.m.) and also noisy at night, however, I was hardly in room so didn't matter too much. TV remote did not work. No wifi in room and the wifi in lobby was slow so could not download Netflix movies.

The staff were incredibly accommodating! At first we were put in a room with no window facing inside. The window was just a piece of wood with a bathroom stall latch for a lock. We asked if we could possibly have a room with a window. Without charging anything extra they moved us to a room with a balcony and a view of the river and partial view of the ocean. The layout of the room also gave us much more privacy when using the toilet and shower. We would have been fine in the first room but the second room made the stay more comfortable and we actually enjoyed being in the room.

Rooftop pool and restaurant with a beautiful view of the sunset and Zona Romantica. Wifi worked best in the lobby or up by the pool. Hotel staff was quick to respond to anything we needed, extra towels, tp, etc. It was in the perfect location, easy to get around and a short walk to anywhere we wanted to go and check out! Very affordable, aircon included in your room. *Note that you get what you pay for. The rooms are very basic, but we really enjoyed all of the amenities the hotel and the neighborhood had to offer.

We only had a single room key - metal key, not a keycard. Thin walls, I would recommend bringing earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

Very nice lady at reception let me into the room two hours ahead of check in time. Don't know about people complaining about noise here but hotel is not next to noisy venues, it is in the center but in quiet alley, and it was completely peaceful and I slept like baby. Very beautiful interior design of the building, with local architecture style, colourful and interesting Beaches, restaurants, shops, everything on walking distance. Very good white bed linen of very high quality, and very clean overall. Decent room size and comfortable bed Excellent value for money, believe the best in Vallarta

Wifi available in patio/Lobby only, but the area is so nicely decorated and pleasant to seat there, that this minus actually turned to be plus too

Great location, nice room, quaint decor. Getting to the main parts of PV centro and zona romantica was so easy by foot, and so many amenities close by - 2 mins walk to farmacia and an oxxo. Just around the corner is a little footbridge to the zona romántica main area that was am experience to cross at times! It is an old hotel, but that's part of the charm, it's one of the oldest in PV. The Malecón is just across the road and down past all the kiosks, great place to watch the Sunset.

Bad wifi. No conditioner in bathroom only shampoo. Can be noisy (other guests more than outside)

The location was great, The rooftop restaurant had great selections at good prices, The rooftop pool was a nice cool spot to hang out with friends, and the staff were friendly and accommodating

The only thing we could've used was a mini fridge in the room or an ice machine in the lobby but you can get ice for a small charge from the restaurant or buy a bag from one of the many oxxo stores.
