Amazing location. Unobstructed view of the ocean. İncredible sunsets viewed from our balcony. Barracuda Restaurant and bar 10 feet from the hotel with great drinks, cerviche and seafood. Large, clean room with wonderful rain shower and amazing house staff. Exceeded all expectations. The photos on Booking.com do not do justice to the experience. 5 minute walk from the boardwalk and im t he center of all the activity, however, the hotel is located in a quiet, peaceful zone! The made to order breakfasts with fresh squeezed orange juice was wonderful. We had so much to do we didn't get a chance to enjoy the amazing infinity pool on the roof. Purely amazing!

Everything was beyond our expectations.

The property was clean and welcoming. The breakfast was yummy! I like that there’s water on each floor for guests (I brought a water bottle with me). The customer service was great because all the staff were helpful and nice. My trip was for my birthday and I mentioned it to the hotel when I booked (because I was hoping for a great room with a nice view). Not only did I get a great room (with a comfy balcony and excellent view of the beach), they also surprised me by welcoming me with a birthday decoration, it was so sweet and added to my fun. I really appreciate how amazing the entire staff were. I definitely recommend!!!

The staff was incredibly nice, and helpful. The place was beautiful, and well maintained. The room was just right, with a stunning view. The location was perfect, and there are two exceptionally good restaurants on the same block.

The burners on the kitchen stove did not function well. There was no vegetable peeler, or corkscrew, wash cloth or towel. Smoking should not be allowed on the balconies, as anyone who does makes it impossible for anyone who doesn't to enjoy being out there.

We highly recommend this wonderful hotel. The room was lovely and spacious with an outstanding view of the ocean from the balcony. The rooftop pool area was extremely pleasant with fantastic views of the water and the mountains. We saw whales every day. Breakfast was delicious with numerous choices. The staff members were kind and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located by the ocean, the malecón, markets, great restaurants, and fun stores. It felt more authentic because it was slightly removed from the touristy sections. We will definitely be back.

We were concerned about the no cancellation/refund policy upon booking the hotel. Luckily, nothing went wrong, so it wasn't an issue. It would still be nice to have that option in the event of an emergency,

The room was very clean and the view of the ocean was great. The kitchen was well equipped, there was plenty of hot water, the bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the pool.

We didn't care for the breakfast and the wait time to get a table was long, so we were glad we had a kitchen. Check in was too bureaucratic for our taste. You have to wear a wristband for the duration of the stay and they take a deposit in case you lose your key. It didn't feel very welcoming on arrival. We didn't like the neighborhood nor the restaurants nearby though the beach was lovely and it was easy to take a taxi to the Los Muertos beach area where the shops and restaurants are better.

I loved how nice everyone was. The breakfast was so yummy. The beds and pillow were so comfortable, and the view and the sounds of the waves every single day were nice. And the pool area was perfect. I even saw whales from the rooftop pool area

The bar across the street had edm music thumping. All I heard were boom boom boom boom. Luckily, they stopped around 11pm. And most of the time, we were still out and about in town. And, it's really not on the malecon. We did have to walk a little way to get to it.

In the downtown area plenty of thugs to do in walking distance. Great views. Just across the street from the beach a 30 second walk. The hotel gave us chairs and an umbrella. They also offered a cooler. There were places near by to buy food and snacks.

The plumbing maybe needs updated. You can’t flush toilet paper

The breakfast was fantastic! It's included in the price and it saved us having to go out and pay for breakfast every morning. The staff was lovely and the room very comfortable. My only complaint is that the rooftop bar was under construction during our stay. We weren't told about this and I was really looking forward to it so that was quite disappointing. We could still order from the bar - they would make it in another location and bring it to us but it took about 40 minutes and it didn't have the same fun vibe that the rooftop bar would have had. But overall, great little hotel!

Breakfast was so good, it definitely added a huge value for us that we had a nice free breakfast each morning. We also brought a large bike in a box with us that we had to transport somewhere later in our trip. The staff was unfazed, super accommodating and took it right up to our room. The rooftop bar and pool is fantastic, the view is amazing and it's a great place to hang out. The beach is literally right off the doorstep and the hotel will give you towels, chairs, etc. We weren't there long enough to take advantage but I thought that was cool. There's filtered water spigots for drinking water on every floor, you just fill up a provided pitcher. Also the taxi they called for us was super cheap, so you won't pay the same crazy inflated price that you have to when you arrive and pick a taxi at PV airport.

Nothing to complain about. The general area is maybe less "luxurious" or polished than it is a bit more South down the beach near the resorts-- this hotel is probably the nicest in the area. But we felt very safe, the surrounding area is great and full of color/life. Oddly there's tons of Canadian ex-pats walking around, you'll see Canadian flags in the windows of restaurants and apartments XD It's also really easy for english speakers, you'll do fine, if you know a few words of Spanish even better. There is a nearby nightclub next to the hotel but I don't remember the music playing very late, it didn't keep us up.
