The staff was super nice, they were able to give me my room sooner than the check in time. They also can store your luggage for you. The cleaning staff was so kind, every time before breakfast she was asking me if I needed something or if everything was ok (I didn't require cleaning any of the days). The access to the elevator is through a key card so outside people cannot go up and you only have access to your floor and the breakfast floor. The breakfast was also a nice surprise, when I booked it said no breakfast but arriving there you do have it, it's for all guests. The AC was fantastic, the room with a big window and a big table for working. The size of the room was just enough for me, not too small. The room was extremely clean when I arrived, the bathroom as well. I didn't find it very noisy, although you can hear other guests sometimes, people were generally quiet. The breakfast was very simple (not a complaint here since I didn't even have it included in my reservation, so it was indeed a good surprise, just informing). There were fruits (banana and apple), a yogurt and sweet bread. There was also nice, milk and coffee, and I gotta say the coffee was fantastic! Wifi worked well almost all the time. At the end of the afternoon when everyone is using it it can get a bit spotty, but all the rest of the day it is incredibly fast.

The location was a bit sketchy. I had 2 Ubers telling me not to walk there alone at night as a woman, also during the day I went to a convenience store nearby and felt a bit unsafe. I think this is a general thing for the city center in Monterrey, but beware if you are a woman walking alone, just Uber everywhere, it's safer. The room could have some storage space for clothes and luggage.

Rooms are small, but set up extremely well, if you don’t have a lot of stuff. Everything was modern/hi tech and worked fine. Very clean. An excellent value for a big city. Quiet at night. Good hot water in both the sink and shower.

Location was okay, a twenty minute walk to the bus station and thirty to the historic center (I am a fast walker) I don’t like using the key card as an on and off switch, because I can’t charge a device when I am out. The pillow was too big and thick and hard to make comfortable. Soap in containers in bathroom does not foam up well, I prefer a bar of soap for shaving. Television choices were extremely limited. Breakfast choice was minimal. The worst thing was the elevator, only one for eleven floors and it was very temperamental and subject to frustrating wait times and going past your destination.

so this is my favorite go-to hotel in monterrey. however, hotel "500" doesn't exist anymore. it's more like "hotel 800" the 500 meant 500 pesos, or about $25 back in the day. now the smallest room is probably $35 USD, and it disappoints me that they rose the price, while creating more rooms and floors.

Unusual room in that there was no window. But I don't think any of the rooms had windows. Very busy, grungy street, but just a few blocks from el centro. Inside was quiet. I was there to be taken out of town for birdwatching. Nice staff. Secure parking.

Clean rooms in a pleasant hotel, very clean, nice bathroom facilities, welcoming lobby, nice stay. I returned for a second night.

The breakfast was minimal, but I enjoyed at least having some fruit, coffee and the option of a pastry. The rooms are more for sleeping than spending alot of time in, but they did have excellent tv options.

Nice clean affordable and good location. Staff is very nice.

Maybe if you had a little closet or hanger to hang up your cloths.

I liked everything about the hotel. The room was large, clean and quiet. The room also had a nice view above the street. I could watch clouds form over the city and see the metro train a few blocks away. The internet was also really strong. I could watch YouTube videos perfectly.

There was nothing to not like. All around a great hotel. The best hotel I have ever stayed at in MTY.

The room was confortable, with AC and hot water at the shower.

The breakfast was very minimal and could be improved. The room was small, but it was more than enough for my stay.

This is really a what a man excepts his stay to be, i have been to japan , so it is exactly similar experience of my stay here
