First of all, the location could not be beat. It is right off the Macroplaza and not far from Barrio Antiguo, so there are a ton of museums and restaurants within walking distance My room was spacious, comfortable, and had a great view. The floor attendant, Yolanda, was kind and kept the room spotless. The folks at the front desk were beyond patient and attentive to my needs. The café in the lobby, Panem, had delicious pastries and a great terrace with a bit of a view. All in all, a fantastic stay!

It's really well located, walking distance from the main park avenue and the barrio. Everything was very clean and wifi worked very well. Free parking was also useful.

Beware- if you don't confirm your arrival time, they will "cancel" your booking (although I was never notified of this cancelation). Not optimal when you're arriving at 10pm. They then "rescue" your booking but then you have to make do with what they give you. We had booked a room with a view to the mountains- we got a room with no windows.

Great location close to a lot of tourist locations to visit. It is easy and safe to walk freely around the area to experience this part or Monterey. It’s a quick Uber ride away to places like Estadio BBVA to catch a Rayados game. The property is very clean and the staff was polite and helpful. A great value for price.

Beds are more on the firm side, which is nit-picky but I’m a softer mattress person.

Great location in Barrio Antiguo, walking distance to markets, convenience stores, bars, restaurants, Macroplaza. The cafe was extremely convenient, and everything we ate was delicious. Staff is super accommodating and helpful. Wifi was good.

The AC unit was just ok, it didn't remove any humidity so it always felt hot. And the shower head is installed in the ceiling so it's virtually impossible to take a shower without getting your hair wet!

I liked the cafeteria with the view of the mountains and both indoor and outdoor seating. Also, the view from the room on the fifth floor was great and the same price for two beds with the view or the king room without the view.

The cafeteria didn't open until 8 am on Sunday, which meant going out looking for a coffees shop but nothing was open in the barrio old city until 9 am. So I , I ended up returning to the lobby where I was able to hang out and recharge my phone. When the cafeteria at the hotel opened at 8, it had one comfortable sofa-style seating which allowed me to enjoy a leisurely breakfast until the contemporary art museum MARCO opened at 10 am. I guess it would have been okay had I not been tired and hungry after an overnight trip.

The hotel was wonderful. The parking is secure, That is key. The staff was helpful, friendly and professional

I hate driving in Monterrey! Also the hotel doesn't have ice for when you want to drink cold drinks in your room. Also there is no refrigerator in the room to keep things cold. I had a cooler, but without ice, what good is that?

everything except the wifi and the hairdryer

wifi was extremely slow, my data plan was slow for some reason the first 2 days of my trip so i was thankfull the hotel had wifi, but it was even slower, good thing data got fast as normal on the 3rd day, also the hairdryer was odd, it had the ability of getting super hot and still not dry your hair somehow

Hotel Kavia had a great location right in the heat of Monterrey, plenty of restaurants and convenient stores in the area

The only thing that was odd was the entrance, it was thru the parking garage, then had to take an elevator up

The only thing I can complain about is that a coffee pot in the room would have been nice. Trust me. It is just a minor complaint. We loved the hotel. Definitely will be going back.

The location is excellent. I can easily walk to Barrio Antiguo and the malls along Av. Benito Juarez. Pabellon M and Liverpool are also close by. Many convenient stores within walking distance.

The electricity went out for a few hours (no wifi, no lighting, no AC), and some problem with AC remote controller. The AC remote controller was fixed quite quickly.
