The location is excellent, with safe surroundings and plenty of nearby places to visit. Once I was moved to a room with an exterior window, my stay became much more comfortable. The staff eventually accommodated my request, which improved the experience.

Initially, I was placed in a room facing a small interior patio, which was disappointing. The main entrance was closed when I arrived at midnight, making it difficult to find, and my taxi dropped me at the wrong hotel. The staff initially refused to change my room, which was frustrating.

the service desk employees are so rude. theres 2 females working there this morning Tuesday Sept 17, 2024 they were extremely RUDE. NO welcome thank you or nothing. Also bad attitude Alan . They need some major training.

There was a communication door with the next room that we do not expect, and the noice (bla bla) of the people there do not let us sleep. Also I could saw a little roaches in the bathroom every day at night.

Safe location in the city. Room for 1 night, comfortable and secure. Breakfast reasonable price and delicious.

I didn't like that the room has no cups, and no coffee maker. That is always a useful addition for all travellers.

- The location was convenient - Staff was nice. - We got a good view to the plaza.

- Some of the utilities did not work like the ceiling light, the ac unit. - Hairdryer was missing and the window was missing one half curtain. - Lack of outlets - Keycard sometimes wouldn’t work on the door. - Not very modern looking.

I really liked this place. Very nice, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Good location, very nice room, onsite restaurant. My window overlooked Macroplaza, a large open air people place on the East. On the West was the central shopping district. Literally walk out the door on either side to each. Monterrey is surrounded by large, beautiful and distinctive mountains and the weather was great. I was in a hurry and didn't get to the restaurant, but I noticed the morning I was leaving that it had a $5 USD breakfast buffet. I would definitely have liked to try it. The area it is in has loads of great local and some chain restaurants. The legendary El Rey de Cabrito, a must try, is a five minute walk. They specialize in grilled baby goat. There are two Mr. Pampas locations in Monterrey, also a must stop in my book whenever I am in Mexico. Both were about 30 minutes away by bus and they are always excellent food and service. These are Brazilian Rodízio style, with all you can eat grilled meats and an extensive salad bar. The hotel wanted to send someone to my room to administer a going-back-to-US Covid test but I declined. I still had places to go, so I went to a 24/7 clinic and was in and out in just over an hour with my negative results. It was about $27 USD. I caught a bus a few blocks away to the second Mr. Pampas. Google Maps is unreliable about bus stops and routes but you can always take taxis. I prefer not to waste the money on me but I was traveling solo. If someone is with me I don't mind splurging on a ride. I had to take taxis to and from the airport. There is no viable alternative IMHO.

I have zero complaints about the hotel, room and staff.
