It was in a safe area. Clean & quiet hotel. Staff is friendly. It would have helped to know Spanish, but that’s on me.

The pictures are deceiving. I originally booked pool view side, I later upgraded to have a Marina view. I received neither. Street view, looking directly at the Canadian Hotel across the narrow street. I immediately requested a room change, they said they could not refund the difference, but they would comp breakfast for my stay. Not to get to detailed but that did not happen.

Very clean, good central location. The chef Raul went out of his way to accommodate my wife's dietary requirements.

We were there for 2 weeks; so some of our concerns should be viewed in that light. No coffee maker or mini fridge in room. The hotel played music around the pool area daily the volume was just a bit loud for normal conversation, but was turned off everyday at 9pm. The Beach Club is not attached to the hotel,it is a short walk away. Nice beach, a lot of fishing boats tied up in front of the beach.

Clean, fresh, great music at the pool area. It looks just as great as the photos. The staff is top notch. I love how it’s walking distance from the square with restaurants and shops. I felt very safe walking around at night solo.

I wasn’t super impressed with the breakfast. I thought it was included, double check that before you book if it’s something you definitely want. I was happy they had decaf coffee.

Great location, beautiful view from our balcony. Staff were great. The only issue was when we arrived, there was a big dead cockroach in our bathroom. Thank God it was dead!! Did not see another one after that in our room or the hotel. I know they are common it just wasn't what we wanted to walk into on our first night.

Location was excellent! Within walking distance to many places. Rooms were clean and staff was friendly and accommodating to our requests promptly! The manager, Mirtha was awesome and speaks great English. Made sure our stay was all that we wanted!

I was happy with everything.

The property is located right on the marina. Easy walking distance to nearby restaurants, pharmacy and souvenir shopping. Yet it’s quiet enough in the evenings. The staff at the resort is outstanding. Great customer service. In case you need clothes washed they contract with a company that picks it up and returns it washed and folded for really cheap. Also, the hotel can exchange dollars to pesos at a reasonable rate.

The beach club is nice because it has an additional pool. shirts and restrooms but the drinks are way over priced. Paid $25 for two drinks and a water bottle. The beach is okay, very small and dirty, doesn’t seen to be maintained.

We stayed 2 nights to start off a month long stayin a tiny beach town. The breakfast nice, we really enjoyed the beach club which had great food & service and its own pool! The service around hotel pool was slower. We liked wandering around the marina and were able to get groceries just up the hill for our next stop.

I felt the bathroom was dark & dated.

Location was excellent, walkable to many places. Friendly staff and a spacious room.

Beach picture is a bit deceiving as it is a couple blocks from the hotel, however easily walkable.

As a former pool.owner I was disappointed at how little the pool and pool area were cleaned

This hotel is bare bones. No fridge, no coffee maker, very basic amenities, not like the hotels we are used to. That being said, we adjusted accordingly and really enjoyed our stay! The hotel entrance faces the marina entrance, and our room balcony was spacious and looked over the marina. Our door faced the beautiful view of the pool, and we swam 3 times a day. The location was perfect, a 35peso taxi ride to La Crucecita and a 5 min walk to the beach, restaurants, convenience store, and some tourist shops. We walked 10 min to the Elektra bank, and another 5 in walk to the grocery store for a styrofoam cooler, ice, and drinks/snacks. Otherwise taxied to downtown and back to hotel. Buy your amenities at the grocery store first thing, like towels and sunscreen, or you'll pay double from the shops. This was a perfect little place, and we can't wait to come back to Huatulco!

Visa machine is spotty, we forgot to switch to international banking, so had an extra trip to the bank to exchange money to pay our hotel in pesos. The weather was very hot and muggy, we were uncomfortable in the heat. Our room had great A/C thankfully! Go for a swim and breakfast early in the morning, have a siesta in your room from 12-3/4pm then all the good stuff happens at night in La Crucecita... food carts (cheapest place to eat), night shops, music and bars!
