We had a wonderful staying at Villas Coral and we definitely consider returning again in the future! All staff was very friendly and helpful (Especially Enrique from the reception and Jesus from the bar/restaurant were absolutely wonderful) the rooms were very spacious and clean and the food and drinks at the restaurant were super.

There were active construction works going on that we were not made aware of prior to our arrival. Said construction works were directly next to the pool making our pool experience not very relaxing/noisy and it sadly also made the beach/bay down below unaccessible..

We really enjoyed being right on the ocean so that we could enjoy the sound of the waves from our balcony and watching the whales was a bonus! We really enjoyed the on-site restaurant - the food was wonderful and the staff were great! Will definitely return.

We liked everything- this is a recently renovated hotel- so a few small” nice-ities” still need to be added. We stayed in a junior suite and the room is very large- so adding a couple of comfy chairs would be great! Arrocito beach is a little ways from the city centre ( $5 cab ride ) but we enjoyed the quietness so we could hear the waves!

The suite was very large and clean. The view wasn't so good (partial of the ocean, partial of some random trash next door to us. The restaurant was good, or even very good, but not great.

They seem to want to nickel and dime you for everything. If you lose your key or don't turn it in, it's like $12, for example. And the wouldn't let family members of ours that aren't staying there come visit us. I guess it's so people don't take advantage of the facility without paying, but it seems ridiculous. They did eventually let our family come visit after we talked to them over and over about it.

Super clean and quiet room, the staff is always friendly and helpful with everything you need.

The restaurant is not good, flavorless food, careless service from the personal. Is like they hate their jobs.

I had two separate rooms. I booked a garden view for one night, and a sea view for two nights. The rooms were both very comfortable, newly renovated, and extremely clean. The water pressure and water temperature in the first room was very good. I liked that they had Dove products in the bathroom. I had two meals in the restaurant. The portions were large, the food was okay, and the servers were friendly. When I switched to the sea view room, it was not a good view so I asked to switch, and they gave me another room with an amazing view. Special thanks to Juan and Jesus. Playa Arrocito is within walking distance of the hotel, and the snorkeling was incredible.

Some of the people at the reception desk shouldn't be there. I've worked in customer service at a front desk and you are the face of the organization. You should greet people with a smile as they walk by. Not everyone was unpleasant, but it left a bad impression. Also, when checking out, I had to wait for them to check my room before I was allowed to leave. I understand why they do this, but it made me feel like some sort of criminal. The WiFi was really bad. The water pressure in my second room wasn't good, and the water temperature was difficult to regulate.

The pool that over looks the ocean, ocean view rooms, real quiet, not busy at all since it’s out of town , great breakfast that was included that also over looks the ocean , 5 min drive to two great beaches and 10 min drive to the town centre , nice lighted walkway to the ocean ,

The road from hwy 200 to the resort has alot of potholes , had to swerve around them when driving , they only gave you two bottles of water in the room, so you have refill your water bottle at the restaurant

Lovely rooms, nice and clean, great staff, very helpful. Pools were clean and water was pretty warm. If you have issues with stairs, the one building has elevators.

A lot of stairs, so if you have mobility issues, it might be a problem. I wasn't real impressed with the food at the restaurant, their baja shrimp, or fish tacos were awesome, but was underwhelmed by most everything else. Quite a ways from town, but taxis are inexpensive.

I would have like more breakfast options. For the price I had expected a breakfast buffet . But overall everything f was delicious

I didn’t enjoy the check out process , it was very inconvenient. Having to go all the way up to check out, wait for the room to be checked and then being given an exit pass. Especially for those whom are disabled or travelling with kids it was inconvenient

The view from balcony was beautiful. The room was good size. Housekeeping kept room clean.

I didn’t like that the property had no elevator. There employee had to bring all the luggage up. Plenty of exercise up and down. Anywhere you wanted to go. Also I left my room card in slot in room to keep electric power on while I was gone. I had a mini fridge for the medicine. When we returned there was no room card. Someone removed it while we were out. No one claimed to have taken it. We left in slot for power, for the medicine. I had to pay to replace a card I did not misplace. Not happy about that

The views of the sea from the room and the hotel, how close it is to the city and the nearby beach. Love it that it wasn't a big hotel and the staff were very attentive and nice.

the only thing that wasn't easy for us is that the don't have a fridge in the rooms and it was very hard cause we were traveling with a toddler that doesn't eat anything from the restaurant and we couldn't even keep a yogurt for him in the room with us.
