I love how modern the property was and clean. It still maintained a Mexican flair to it. I also loved how the bellhops tried thier best to maintain a personal connection to you throughout the stay!

I did not like that as they were fixing up the slides and lazy river, in order for us to access the pool or beach we had to walk all the way to the other side of the resort to get their would’ve been nice if there was a way a path for us to get to the pool faster.

The view from the hotel room didn't match the view from the booking.

The resort was absolutely amazing! The grounds, the staff, the food, the Kids Club, everything was top notch. The staff were so kind and helpful. They were very attentive to all of our needs. Our 10 year olds couldn't get enough of Kids Club. They loved the Camp Counselors. The fish tacos by the pool were the best lunch dish. Ice cream galore, too. Every meal we had was top notch.

The beach had red flags the entire time we were there meaning the water was very rough. It appears that the water is always rough because most of the beach is washed away. It's pushed back almost to the retaining wall of the resort. Therefore, there is not a lot of beach and you definitely could not get in the water. The kids were disappointed about this, but the currents were too strong. You need to go more North to get calmer beaches.

Pool staff was very friendly. The food was good.

The staff at Ono Izakaya restaurant was really bad. We put a compliant for discrimination to minorities in the lobby but I don’t think they followed up on it. The waiter was really slow and she would go talk to other people instead of attending the table. When I asked another waiter he laughed at me and stated that I was exaggerating the waiting time (it was around 2 hours and we were still waiting for food) I talked to kitchen capitán and he was a total joke. I asked him to follow up on this behavior and he said he would not and it usually the clients who have to follow up. This guy was ridiculous. The guy from the lobby said he would check and follow up but he never did.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Everything went well. But, it was the STAFF that made a difference. Some of them even remembered us from previous visits. They treated us like royalty and bent over backwards to make sure we were happy with our stay. Roger, Samuel, Alberto, Gladys, Carlos (in the fitness center), et al. I wish I could remember all their names. But, in our minds, these are the folks who put the enjoyment into our stay, and they are the main reason we would, and probably will, return. They are indeed a credit to the Marriott brand.

Really nothing, except perhaps the size of the crowd. But, this was a holiday week and many families were there to celebrate, making it a little more crowded than we would have liked. But, this is not the faulty of the property and its management. This is our fault for choosing that week to travel to Cancun.

My stay here was absolutely Phenomenal! The staff was extraordinary, kind, polite, always smiling, attentive to your needs and each one delivered exceptional customer service! Oh, they understand their assignment! The US employee base could learn a few things from the staff here at the Marriott Cancun. What impressed me the most - the cleanliness of the hotel! The lobby, my room, the grounds, everywhere I looked every single aspect of this hotel was in order! I'm going to compare my stay at other places to my stay here at the Marriott properties. Honestly, I really don't want to stay anywhere else!

The drinks! They were horrible! No matter where we ordered, the drinks appeared watered down, even after we requested shots on the side~! When in Mexico, you want Tequila! I mean really, it's the countries national drink! No Bueno

That staff is amazing, everybody is very kind and helpful. All the restaurants have delicious food. My kids loved the kids club. We liked the lazy river and every pool. Excellent service.

The beds are not very comfortable, the pillows are small and hard, the mattress of one of the beds needs to be replaced. But maybe we were just unlucky with the room.

The service was excellent, the food was great, and the breakfast was perfect every morning. The facilities were beautiful, and the staff were very attentive and friendly throughout our stay.

There weren’t enough loungers available, especially during busy hours. The beach had a lot of seaweed, but that’s expected for this time of year.

The staff was incredibly nice and attentive. The hotel is beautiful and there are so many options to eat. The cocktails are delicious and again, so many options! The rooms were spacious and the bed was very comfortable! We had a lovely time.

The Mexican restaurant open at night wasn't great. Food was cold and didn't and didn't feel very fresh. Luckily the other restaurants were much better!

Everything was amazing, food, amenities, customer service was the most amazing. Such wonderful staff. Made my experience that much better.

I would like to see more night shows/ entertainment. Also maybe some more activities in the day or kids area. ( such as play ground, trampoline area, some entertainment)
