The building and grounds are well taken care of. The lobby floor was washed probably hourly. The staff was always friendly. The elevators are quick. I love that you can go to other RIU in Cancun and use their facilities. The beach was raked daily. The food at the restaurants was good.

They seriously need a washing hand station mandatory like on cruises before entering the buffet. My husband and I each got sick on this vacation. Everyone is grabbing the same tongs to plate food, then some people lay the tongs onto the food. instead of the spoon rests. People lick their fingers, or don't wash their hands after leaving the restroom then grab the tongs. It's all gross. Also the staff are quick to clean off tables, but they don't have a sink outside either. Table after table is "cleaned" with the same dishcloth, without washing it out in between. Plus in the outside seating area the birds sit on chairs and all over the staffs station where the "clean" dishes, silverware, and drinks are kept. YUCK, Hello, bird flu?

Amazing service! All the staff are very friendly & very quick service. Great choices for food - you will never run out of options or be hungry at this place. Great food & drinks! They are constantly cleaning the place, always spotless. Fun poolside day time activities, great shows on the evening, they even provide shuttle service to & from other Riu party locations & do things like themed face/body painting at the lobby for the parties. The ocean view rooms are worth it!! Stunning view of the most beautiful beach. The staff on the beach are also really friendly, they’ll help set up sunloungers & umbrella as per preference & bar staff always walk around to bring you drinks wherever you are. Housekeeping staff were great! Almost everyday they left a cute little surprise for us after cleaning (decorative towels, rose petals, chocolates). The little things meant a lot! It really exceeded expectations all around, cannot recommend this resort enough!

We booked a king bed but upon arrival it was 2 single beds - they didn’t have any long bed rooms available on the day, so we had to wait until the next day to move & didn’t have a room for about 3 hours (12pm - 3pm) until they cleaned, but it was okay - there was plenty to do whilst waiting & they moved our luggage’s for us.

- Restaurants close and open at set times. Should be 24/7 for those jet lagged or on different schedules. However, there are snacks available - Room service not included in the price- should be ALL inclusive

Property extremely clean and staff warm and welcoming. Addy at the lobby was exceptional and Juan at the pool bar is fantastic and remembered our orders. Housecleaning was amazing! I’ve never had housecleaning service that changed my sheets throughout our stay and mopped our floors!

Needed more bathrooms throughout the property. Gym was small. Food was to be expected for an all inclusive. Pretty average. The specific restaurants (Asian, Italian, steakhouse and Mexican were just ok) I felt the service was lacking in the restaurants but very good in the buffet areas. Entertainment at the pool was fun during the day. Nighttime entertainment was ok. I’d come back and maybe try the elite side next time.

The buffet was far better than any of the themed restaurants. And with the buffet changing every night it was such a treat to see what they cooked up. Better than any Vegas buffet I have ever endured.

The cleaning crew would bother you twice a day about if your room needed tidying up. I found it odd if you had it cleaned in the morning they would come back in the evening and ask again. I don't know why. It wasnt a terrible thing but that's one thing I can think of. The wifi didnt work on the first night, but nobody told me you pretty much have to connect your phone in the lobby first before trying in the room. I was on a higher level so it's possible this also was a factor.

Loved the Riu parties, other entertainment, the beach and pools. Room was great too. Overall would highly recommend it.

Small beefs: Chilly room- tried to up the temperature but it took forever to come up and would reset repeatedly to a low temperature. While there was a good selection, sometimes the food and desserts in the buffet were undercooked.

All of the staff were personable, professional, competent and VERY efficient. The acrobat and Abba presentations were AMAZING!! Breakfast, lobby bar, pool bar, Italian restaurant and Mexican restaurant were all very good!!

The Steak restaurant meat was not up to our expectations. Very tough and net as favorable as expected. Great service and mediocre food.

Truly everything. The staff was so diligent and friendly, the facilities was sparkling clean the entire time, room service was quick, the view couldn’t be beat. The Christmas Eve feast was the most amazing experience. I am in love with this place!

The only complaint is my back did not do well on the bed. I didn’t like the spring mattress. Other than that, absolutely nothing comes to mind.

Beautiful location and the beach is exceptional. The room was lovely, but we were located off of the entertainment area which was loud. Additionally the hotel is made of concrete and the noise does travel. We could hear a lot of traffic noise as well.

See above. The food was just okay. We went for dinner offsite. Breakfast was good.

Everything was really amazing. Stayed in many RIU hotels before but this is My favorite so far. There are so many different restaurants to chose for diner and all are amazing!! My favorite ones were “krystal” and “steak house”

I would lie if i said there was anything i didn’t like.
