Our stay at Kippal ApartHotel was fantastic! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, always quick to respond to our questions via WhatsApp both before and during our stay. We were a large group and had several rooms, all of which were nicely decorated and provided the comfort and convenience of staying in an apartment. The air conditioning was excellent! The location was perfect, with a supermarket nearby and within walking distance to great restaurants and bars. The rooftop pool was a real highlight, offering the perfect spot to watch the stunning sunsets. Highly recommend, better than an Airbnb!

Not a big deal, it would have been nice if the rooms were equipped with plastic cups to take drinks up to the pool.

The hotel was new and quite nice. From the very start, the staff was very friendly and welcoming, and provided assistance quickly for things like offering to call taxis, work with the pool sound system, and provide clean linens. The rooms were clean and nicely appointed (in particular, the AC was strong and worked well for the entire stay—important given the heat!). The views from the hotel were excellent and it was such a pleasure to enjoy the rooftop deck especially (the views of the sunset from the infinity pool were unbeatable). Finally, the location was great—not too close to the downtown so it was quiet but an easy 15 minute walk to the center. We definitely felt safe walking around at all hours as well. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Having an option to have daily cleaning would have been nice, but I did not inquire about it, so it’s possible it’s an option.

I stayed in room 101. The apartment was very large - 2 rooms but with full sized beds only, big living room, full kitchen (basic plates and pans provided) and washing machine (detergent not included). Two large balconies with beautiful plants (but some plants are drying off - please take care of those wonderful plants - it makes the balconies so much better). Water pressure was good. The roof top pool is nice to cool off and somewhat big enough to swim a couple of short laps. The sunset view is breathtaking.

I stayed 2 weeks and they cleaned once (was scheduled for 3 cleanings). I usually keep a place clean but the trash was overflowing by the end of my stay. Just something to keep in mind - they offer additional cleaning but if they stick to the scheduled cleaning, that would be enough. The complementary bikes are too rusty to be used. I rented my bikes outside the hotel and I could keep them in the garage which was great. Can get noisy if the balcony is on the main street (scooter/ bike noise but this is common in Mexico).

Great place. Very convient. Excellent concept. Our unit was starting to show some wear. But overall great.

Furniture needed steam cleaned. A door de laminating. Plants dead in planter boxes.

The Kippal offers lovely, modern, and well-equipped apartment style rooms in a location that is walkable to the ocean, the square, and many bars and restaurants. I spent a lot of time on the terrace enjoying the views from the pool, which was very clean and nice. I also liked that it only has 15 or so rooms, more of an exclusive property. The staff are very helpful and kind, they upgraded me to a larger room as I was checking in when the water pressure in one of the showers for my original room was not to their standards. Each room in the apartment has a mini-split AC unit and I liked being able to adjust the temperature in my room to my liking.

Smallest detail… The bathroom did not have a robe hook on the door. That would have been helpful in drying my bathing suit.

Awesome rooftop pool, good location, family friendly, helpful front desk, and a great apartment.

No complaints

The two bedroom apartment we stayed at was spacious and comfortable. The apartment had a nice balcony with sea views, and it was easy walking distance to the main town centre where the restaurants, shops and ferry terminal are located. The rooftop pool area was a great space for relaxing in and soaking up the sun and views.

Check in was a bit confusing as the set up of this property is more like an AirBnb than a hotel. The kitchen wasn't well equipped for cooking, and we were also missing a kettle and toaster which were promptly supplied when requested. The fitness centre was disappointing - very little equipment available and it's located right in the lobby, so there's no private space for exercising.

Absolutely loved this place. The room was so spacious, clean and comfortable for a 3 night stay. My husband and I dove almost every day and the location was perfect for the dive shop we went to. The rooftop pool was amazing and the staff were excellent. It’s a great place if you want to be a bit outside the busy area and have options for cheaper / more authentic dining. We will definitely be back when we go to Cozumel again.

Location is very good to explore the city center and walk to very good restaurants. Employees on site are very welcoming and profesional. The views from the penthouse and rooftop were great. The huge terrace and public spaces on the roof top were great for relaxing and hanging out.

We stayed in the penthouse. The state of some of the furniture was below acceptable. Some blinds were even torn, and system broken, so they could not be open. The kitchen was very poorly equipped, so we had to improvise a lot for cooking. I kept receiving automatic messages on whatsapp from what was supposed to be the support team. Even requesting a check-in in advance. When contacted for support, they mentioned they were no longer responsible for that building.

Great place. The host even provided 40L of drinking water upon request. Very, very helpful and attentive hosts. The place is fairly new, though begining to see some use. Pidgeons on the balcony were a pain though.

Good location, not great. Only ding against the place. If you do not mind walking then its great. Also if you like to chill on a sofa and take in a game etc there are only 2 comfortable chairs for 2 people. Others get to sit on the kitchen chairs.
