Great location, the room was beautiful and spacious overlooking the swimming pool. Food and drinks at the restaurant were of a very high quality and all ingredients very tasty and fresh, high quality presentation too. Staff very professional, helpful at all times and friendly. The rooftop swimming pool offers a fantastic view over the island, especially at the sunset it was magic from up there!

The room was fantastic but lacking of a few last touches such as extra hangers and shelves for the clothes, but we understand the hotel is brand new and the manager is still adding the last few touches to improve the comfort. So I would say not to worry about this for guests who will stay here in the next future because it should all be fixed soon.

Right from the start Isaac and the front of house team made us feel incredibly welcome. The hotel is in a fantastic location on a beautiful quiet section of Holbox beach. The design of the hotel is incredible and the rooms a great size, but it was the staff that really made this feel like an exceptional trip. They couldn’t have been more helpful - even when there was a hurricane they were running around in the rain the make sure guests were OK. The food was also outstanding, with a mix of Mexican and European on offer. I would return here in a heartbeat and highly recommend it!

The rooms were clean, well maintained, and beautifully designed. Being able to step out of my room and into the pool was incredible! Both restaurants onsite were delicious and easy to access. The concierge staff was friendly and always available to help. Jenny was a local and provided me a lot of great tips of where to go on the island as a solo, female travel.

They clearly are still new as the staff was still hanging lights and decor. And it was sometimes difficult to get the bar staff’s attention, they seemed to prioritize larger parties.

We loved the property and room. Beautiful architecture and wonderful location. The staff was so kind and helpful.

The hotel had been open for less than a month when we stayed so they were still doing some work and working out some details. The rooms were super minimal, which is nice, but could have used a few touches: more hooks for hanging towels and wet bathing suites, a full length mirror, some sort mat for the front and back doors so you don’t track in sand. The pool on the roof was a little too warm for the weather. The outdoor dining area and roof could use some shade umbrellas.

Design wise hotel is awesome and located right on a beach.

We liked EVERYTHING!! The hotel and the rooms were better then the photo's The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The hotel is right on the beach so you're only steps away from the ocean which was so clear and beautiful. The food was absolutely amazing too. We wanted to try more restaurants but the food was so good we kept eating at the hotel.

There's very little to complain about at all. If anything it would be nice to have more water jugs available in case you needed a glass or water late night or something like that.

I have traveled my fair share. In my experience, this is one of the best organised little hotels I have been to. Even before arriving we were beautifully assisted remotely for our transfer to the hotel. Ricardo at the reception has been always helpful and friendly. The whole staff has been nothing short of excellent, from the cleaning team to the bar and restaurant staff (including in the Restaurant La Cabane, fantastic little place). The menu for food and drinks was nicely diverse and well executed, I had some fantastic food. The whole family loved this place, making for us a beautiful holiday.

- not enough sunbeds for guests (only 4 comfy double sunbeds and 4 old wooden ones that were very uncomfortable) - no fridge in the room - no tv - terrible acoustics, super noisy: you can unfortunately hear conversations, blowdrying, use of toilet and everything else from the rooms next to and above you. So maybe it's good afterall that there were no TVs

The property is picturesque with one of the best pools I’ve ever been in. It’s over 100 feet (30 meters) long and winds under trees and spots of sun with ample room for more everyone. Perfect temperature and always clean. We loved our rooms as they were simple but had all we needed. Plus the strong air conditioner helps if you’re not from a warm climate. The service was standard but they could probably improve their hospitality program particularly with the wait staff. For a hotel, their food was fantastic and worth the money, albeit on the pricier side.

They do need more beds on the beach club. If they replaced the seats no one really used with beds, I don’t think they would have so many issues with people hawking other guests’ spots. Some of waiters at the beach club were a little inattentive or rude but most were pretty fantastic. Also don’t buy liquor shots at this property. They are the same price as a cocktail which is strange. On avg they would run $12-$15/ shot for mid shelf quality. We learned that the hard way. This is small complaint but the “do not disturb” signs consistently blew off so if you wanted your room cleaned, the staff wouldn’t know and would skip your room.

My partner and I stayed here for 2 weeks and we loved this hotel. The food, drinks and amenities were amazing, but what really stood out was the staff- you could tell that they truly cared about the experience of each guest. Everybody was so kind and attentive, always willing to answer any questions we had about the island and consistently looking for ways to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. My boyfriend actually proposed here- and he said that the hotel staff were so helpful planning with planning it, giving a list of suggestions for locations and organising a private terrace for us. In particular, Aldo and Ricardo were lovely and we’d like to thank them for helping to make our stay so unforgettable!

We felt there was not enough light in the rooms and there was also no full length mirror in the rooms which was annoying sometimes whilst getting ready.
