Great hotel, clean and spacious. Decorated beautifully and amazing pool. Located far from the center but still walking distance for those that are up for 20 min walk.

The breakfast that's included with no real options- only yogurt with granola and fruits, for us it was enough but not something that is OK... Also we tried contacting the property in advance to make a change in our booking and let them know we are coming late- and they didn't answer our calls and messages for 3 full days!! Very annoying and updating, never apologize and behaved like this is not their problem that they do not answer the booking.com chat..

The hotel and the room (i stayed on ground floor) were very nicely decorated, the room was beautiful with an outside seating area. Pool area is great, the breakfast was nice and staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. As a solo female traveller i felt very safe.

The location wasn’t ideal due to extremely flooded streets. Whilst no fault of the hotel the flooding needs to be addressed, as the hotel is excellent but the roads are inaccessible and I felt scared getting taxi’s through such deep water. To note I visited towards the end of rainy season. This might not be such an issue in dry season.

El Nido is a true paradise. Alberto, our host, was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The pool area was lovely and peaceful, perfect for morning dips. It's just a short walk to the beach and about 25 minutes to the main town. My boyfriend and I often walked or took a taxi, which was only 200 pesos. A couple of small suggestions: a full-length mirror in the bedroom and a mini fridge for keeping drinks cool. We had a fantastic stay and would recommend to friends and family. Charming boutique hotel in a quiet but great location on Holbox. Alberto and his team were very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast was a continental and all homemade and if you wanted eggs or other things the food was excellent. They also offer evening meals as well. Short taxi rides for 200 pesos into the town which was vibrant and great restaurants and bars plus shops! You can walk along the beach 🏖️ for about 20 minutes and also get to the hotel. Highly recommended

Design focussed, huge rooms, friendly staff, beautiful gardens and large pool area.

Location difficult to reach from town, needed many taxis to get back. One day they turned off our a/c and there was animal faeces on our balcony when we arrived as well as our toilet didn’t flush. Both sorted promptly. Needed to pay for any additional items in cash which was difficult on the island and included breakfast of fruit and yoghurt nice but additional food needing to pay for wasn’t great.

El Nido is just that- a nest of perfectly designed peace and calm on an island where those things are premium. Alberto and the staff make you feel welcome and untroubled- no thumping music, no loud voices, no intrusions. The hotel itself is gorgeously designed with a lovely pool. The bed was huge and very comfortable. For those of you looking to have a quiet stay just five minutes from the beach, and a beach with few people (unlike the other end of the island) this is for you. Well worth the adventure.

I think this hotel is exactly how it presents itself- a cool, well designed hotel in a quieter part of the island. Rooms are lovely, good size, AC worked well. Breakfast and dinner both solid. Staff were very nice and helpful with all questions and booking the whale tour and transfers to the airport. Very clean throughout. Would stay again!

The pool itself and the design of the area is very nice. The only seating though are hammocks (great!) and these big pillows on the ground. I'd recommend getting at least a few chair options because laying flat wasn't the most comfortable in all circumstances.

The host Alberto was very friendly and attentive, he was able to answer all of our questions and even gave us several recommendations about restaurants and place to visit. He also served us breakfast every morning, that consisted of mixed cut fruits, yogurt, granola, cookies, coffee and fresh made fruit juice.

We had an outstanding stay at El Nido. The staff were all incredibly kind and helpful -- special shout out to Edgar and Franco! The pool is lovely and relaxing. Nearby beaches are great, with significantly less seaweed than beaches in the center. Our room was comfortable and very quiet.

This wasn't a problem for us because we expected it, but be aware that a taxi into the center costs 250 pesos.

Really beautiful hotel, relaxt and quiet. Clean! Really helpful staff. Great for couples or if you want to escape the busy beachtents.

Quite far away from the town (walking 30 mins), and first beachtent also about 10 mins.
