it was very clean and nice, the beds were comfortable and we could rent golf carts directly with them for a better price. the staff was very friendly and the hotel was very pretty. the location was also very good, within 15 min walking distance to the center of playa norte.

the hotel restaurant was very expensive and the service not as good, as it was very slow and the food took long to come

The property was lovely, very clean and very pretty. The pool area was lovely and the views over the marina were great. The location was good - only a short 15-20 minute walk to the main area in the north with the restaurants and playa Norte. The beds were also very very comfortable and the staff were very friendly

We were fishing the day we checked in, and asked if they could prepare us the fish we caught, which they did. so was super happy with this service.

From the moment we walked in we knew we’d be happy to be here. It’s a short 3-5 minute golf cart/taxi ride from the ferry station. About a 15 minute walk to a beautiful beach with clear waters and there’s a little restaurant and bar right in the dock. Which the hotel has some hammocks on the dock and in the water. We loved going out in the morning and at night to see the sea life. The front desk attendants were amazing. Specially Ernesto at the front desk and the restaurant staff were super attentive. Such a little gem.

Nothing. The pool and the water were great. The drinks were super solid.

The hotel was beautiful. The scenery was awesome from my room. The bed was comfortable. Hotel stuff was excellent.The young man at front desk was very kind when we asked questions about different things. The hotel also stored our luggage while we toured the island.The restaurant staff had excellent recommendations, and the chef came out and talked with us about the exquisite dishes that he had prepared. All the dishes were delicious..

So when I booked the hotel, I didn't realize that I had made accommodations for one. When I got there, the staff pointed out that there was an extra charge for another person ($35). Typically, it is assumed that it's two people for the price you're seeing on screen. (Booking, please fix this with the hotel.) They hotel didn't mention in it's extra part that they had golf carts for rental, which would have saved me the hassle of renting one by ferry. Also, why was the hotel golf carts the same price to rent as the one by ferry. I my opinion this should have been a little cheaper (Bahia Tolok correct this). No robes in my suite, which it would have been nice.

We will definitely be going back to Bahia Tolok! Loved the people, location, and the restaurant - not affiliated with the hotel but is located on-site and is AMAZING! You will not be disappointed. Also, the hotel rents golf carts which I highly recommend. Their pricing is fair so don't waste your time price shopping. We did and when we got back all the carts had been rented. Great location if you want to go south or north for the day or both. We really loved the vibe here!

Everything was awesome with the exception of the toilet and lack of light in our room. The back bowl of the toilet did not fill with water in a timely fashion and we found ourselves having to transfer water from the sink to the back bowl of the toilet in order to get it to flush. The other thing was the 1 window in the room. It was up super high up on the wall and so there was no natural light in the room during the day. Mind you, we purchased the cheapest room option so this is not a complaint. Just something we will consider next time we return and spend a little extra for a room with a view.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and really nicely decorated/appointed. Situation right on the bay with a dock in front and access to salt water swimming was great. It doesn't have a true "beach" in the sense that there isn't sand reaching right down to the water. But there is a sandy area to sit and great lounge chairs and hammocks facing out to the beautiful bay view. We swam off the dock and it was just fine. Pool was nice, too, although the water was a little on the cool side (colder than the ocean water). We really appreciated the high quality decor. Overall, it was a great place to relax and enjoy the water and a good value. We loved the included breakfast right on the dock by the bay.

Location was a little awkward in that it is about 1.5 miles from the town where most of the restaurants are, and the hotel didn't really serve lunch or dinner. Not a bad walk for young, healthy people, but a little long for us. It turned out to be easiest to take a taxi into town, and then take the bus back. You also need to make that trip if you want to enjoy the nice beaches of the Playa Norte (however, they are quite crowded).

Wonderful penthouse apartment inside a nice hotel on the waterfront, outside the busy town but still at walking distance. Great quality with a lovely terrace overlooking the sea and the sunset. Even a private rooftop pool to cool off. The apartment was very clean. Comfortable bed. Kitchenette with only microwave, otherwise well equipped. Parking in front of the hotel, as well as golfcart rental.

Poor internet connection. Not recommended for people with mobility issues because of narrow staircase.

Amazing common area that lead to a beautiful view of the ocean. Pool was beautiful with hammocks. There were plants and palm trees everywhere. The staff was the best part. They were super friendly and helpful at every request.

The bedside tables need lamps. I didn’t like that we either had bright overhead lights or no lights at all.

- Location of the hotel is a little bit tricky. Great to explore the whole island, but 20min by walking away from supermarket / restaurants. - Price - very expensive (but we had to take it spontaneously and most of the other stuff was booked) - Some things in the apartment were not 100% nice. (goo & stains on the water tap, power sockets a little loose, loose tiles in bathroom) - We couldn't swim in sea in front of the hotel as it was full of sea weed - The in-hotel restaurant was unfortunately closed, so we had no chance to get a breakfast / dinner at the location.
