Great location, just a 15 minute walk from the port and about a 20 minute walk to the north beach and they have parking outside for rented golf carts. Our room was very big and the fridge and coffee machine (with coffee, sugar, creamer, filters provided) was a lovely touch. The shower was hot (not that it was needed), lots of toiletries were provided, and the aircon and fan worked well. We were given shower and pool/beach towels which was really nice. The happy hour margaritas were great and the bar had a lively atmosphere with sports on the TV and live music on the weekend. It was never too rowdy though and didn’t go on late. The pool was perfect and the pier was a great place to watched the sunset. The fish and chips in the restaurant were delicious.

Our room wasn’t cleaned but we saw a cleaner around. Maybe we should have left money in the tip jar for her to clean but we didn’t understand the custom as we thought we would leave money in there on check out. It would have been nice to have the bins emptied, we didn’t need a full bed change or anything and I’m sure we could have asked so not really a big deal.

Location. Access to Skulls Landing Bar. Ample Parking. Simplicity of the room. Value of the room.

No hot water in the shower (I understand how Mexico operates). No TV (honestly, probably best for my visit). No dresser. I prefer to put my things up upon arrival. My Safe/Lock Box didn't function properly. Ants. I know it's Mexico, but they got annoying.

Absolutely lovely place, small, intimate and nice. The owner, other guests and bar clientele were delightful (in particular the owner (Joss) could not do enough to help. Great Happy hour, reasonably priced drinks (at non-happy hour times), and the best Chicken burger I have ever tasted!

The manager/barman gave the attitude he would rather be somewhere else and didn't really like people. A few of the regulars warned us about him and said they only really use the bar twice a week when the owner was there. But despite him, the place was fantastic!

Staff was friendly, the room was large and clean, water and coffee was included. There was a bar with a decent happy hour on premises, which was mostly visited by expats. It was hot, so walking downtown during the day in August was rough, but usually I like a short walk to be in a more peaceful location.

Isla mujeres didn't have as much to do as I thought, but that's not anything the property could improve.

Oh my goodness what to say my family of 4 absolutely loved this place its a hidden gem we loved that they only have 5 or 6 rooms .. .we.had 2 rooms one facing the pool which was lovely and one on the road side which I was a bit worried about having read reviews about the noise but was no problem at all you get a flurry of cars going by when the bars down the town shut but after midnight I heard nothing ...the rooms were big and lovely the bed was so comfy loved the coffee machine.it was the perfect location just out of town about a 15 min walk ..they have a lovely bar the atmosphere was great and the food was probably the best we had so far in Mexico as others have said the shrimp tacos where delicious would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Staff was responsive, friendly and always moving. The owner even checked on us a couple of times!

Ceiling fan in room not working. No bar or hooks to hang towels to dry. Did get one a couple days in to vacation though.

The lagoon side bar had great views and gets popular at happy hour. The staff were very friendly and the location was a nice stroll along the water into the town.

There was a scorpion in our room! No fault of the hotel though and quickly resolved.

The location is great. Walking distance from the main port, shops, restaurants and Playa Centro and Playa Norte. The restaurant at the hotel is excellent with great sunset views. Also live music now and then!! Internet is great.

If you aren't a sound sleeper, do not stay here. Noise from the road and other guests echo throughout. I didn't have problems but could see it being an issue. Having to find the staff to request to clean a little awkward. Would be better to have a door handle sign like other places do, but again not a major issue.

The beds and the rooms are big and the room is nicely decorated. We liked the bar, the staff and the food, and the nice view over the sea.

The noise from the street is a bit loud, and there is no breakfast served. On the other hand, with the rented golf car you can go anywhere to have breakfast. For the people who haven't been on the island yet: the golf car is the most popular way of transportation.

the rooms were large, clean and very spacious. we really liked that it was just out of the town away from the noise and hustle and bustle but only only a 20 minute walk away. the hotel had a lovely little bar area which looked out in to the sea.

there wasn’t really anything we didn’t like about the property. it was more simple and basic and not lavish if that is what you are looking for but for the price it was great value for money.
