It was clean and as advertised. There were no issues- family loved it

We wish some of the amenities were working and or updated. We wish the front lobby workers spoke better English or could help us more with questions we had

The complex is amazing. Really private, with public pools for everyone and just about a 3 minute walk from the beach. The apartment is perfect for a group of 5 or 6. It’s really modern, comfortable and has a private little pool. Check in is really easy and the support and personalized attention from Jasmin was perfect. The only downside is that it’s far away from the town center. It’s either a 25 minute walk or you can signup for the public bike app, which makes it much easier to travel back and forth.

The property was beautiful! Large garden area with fountains and large pools. Plenty of both shaded and sun seeker sitting areas. Right on the beach. The condos were beautifully styled and well equipped for our stay. We also had grwat food at the onsite restaurant! Our unit was on the top floor of building 7 south and had great views of the property and ocean. Although it is approx 5 kms to the centre of Playa del Carmen, 5th Avenue runs right to the entrance of the gated property and made foe a great walk each morning!

Not a complaint, but our condo's air conditioning quit working a couple of days into our stay. Alfonso, the on site assistance person, tried to get it repaired quickly,. When it was found to need more than a quick fix, he found us another unit to continue enjoying our stay. We couldn't ask more than that! Great job, Alfonso!

There was a Nespresso machine and I happened to bring my coffee pods. That made mornings lovely. The towels were incredibly soft as was the bedding. The decor was nice. It was a great condo and location for a family who didn’t want the noise of a busy beach party yet was close enough to get to the city restaurants and amenities. The pool is expansive. There are pictures online for this property of hammocks under a pergola but the hammocks were all gone which was disappointing. I had wanted to read a book in a hammock. If the condo added a hammock to the lovely balcony I’d say it was perfect. The company manages the rentals with great service. They are very responsive.

The microwave was broken. When I told them they offered to send someone right away to fix it - so great service. I didn’t want to deal with maintenance staff while we were there so dealt with no microwave. The oven buttons also seemed incredibly finicky and the fridge was very loud. It seems the kitchen appliances may be in need of repair but again the managing company seems on top of any requests or issues.

The condo was excellent and beautifully appointed and clean. We had two two-bedroom units on the same floor, which worked really well for our large group. The property was gorgeous and well-maintained. And the restaurant on site was quite good. I would have eaten there every night--the prices, IMO, were not unreasonable at all! I didn't realize until the last day that there was another restaurant by the beach--I only ate there once but it was excellent as well. The beach was very pretty with lots of loungers. The people working there were also super nice and very helpful.

My transport was botched both coming and going. They need to be more clear about where to meet the drivers. Another bummer is having to go buy toilet paper as they don't provide it for your entire stay.

The place was nice, spacious, elegantly furnished, and very comfortable. Given the rather expensive price, this is something we expected and our expectations were met. Since the place was designed for a larger group, the available 1 parking spot was insufficient. The Mareazul staff was kind enough to allocate another unused spot to us, but this should be something that should be provided by the host or owner beforehand. The place is not cheap, but the main benefit is that you are removed from the crowdy touristy areas of Playa Del Carmen. The pool is fantastic. The day club next door only blasts music on Saturdays. It also seems like once a week (namely Saturdays) the seaweed was cleaned up near the beach. We didn't know any difference, but many other local and repeating guests complained about the situation at the beach. The wifi was pretty spotty in the apartment, some bedrooms had no reception. The onsite staff communicated through text and were very attentive and nice. The place is nicely furnished, the balcony furniture was excellent and invited for long stays outside to eat, read or relax.

The place was advertised as a "4 bedroom house" on booking.com, which is definitely not true. It is a 4 bedroom apartment in a vacation complex. It is very nice though.

The apartment is well maintained, spacious and has everything you may need during the stay (and I mean it as you find smaller utensils there, range of coffee machines, etc). Private pool in front of the apartment (if you have the one on first floor) is very nice and cleaned regularly as well as pool in the center of the complex. Mareazul complex are is well maintained as well, secure and has nice cafe and restaurant. On top of that one of the greatest beaches in the area right there one step away from pool. Will be happy to come back there next time!

The pool and grounds were beautiful! The balcony was huge and so relaxing with chair and couch- perfect for watching birds, feeling the tropical breeze, and taking naps! The condo was very nice inside with plenty of space for us to spread out. Super nice staff in a safe gated community. A very relaxing stay!

Some things in the kitchen were hard to use such as the stove oven but I think we figured them out. Also this seaweed on the beach made it impossible to swim but we were expecting that.

Super nice and very large apartment. Super nice pool area and nice beach away from the crowds in the city.

too many things didn’t work. oven was broken, toaster (given as a replacement for the broken oven) was broken, extraction fan was broken and the water cooler was leaking. Most of those things should be visible to the caretakers who should have had it fixed.

The resort is BEAUTIFUL, well kept and well secured. Our beachfront condo was absoutely STUNNING!!! Just a few steps to the private beach. Views from every window facing ocean. BREATHTAKING!!! Large patio to relax with ample seating and hammock. Sunrises look like a picture PERFECT painting, only better!!! Tons of sleeping options in unit. There were 3 of us -- the unit could have easy accommendate 8-10 people. My concierge person was "Yazmin" she was AMAZING!!! I booked this vacation 6 mos in advance, by the time we arrived at the resort "Yas" felt like family. She responded to ALL of my questions in a timely manner, she greeted me when I arrived, connected me with a personal chef to prepare my BD dinner, connected me with a tour person for activities and even scheduled my spa appointments. The spa is located at the front entrance, one day there was light rain. Yas picked me up in front of my condo and dropped me off right in front of the entrance and offered to pick me up so I would not have to walk back in the rain. Yas was a breath of fresh air, she made it so we could enjoy our vacation to the fullest. And we did!!! We're not only planning to return but seriously considering purchasing a condo. Mareazul Beachfront Condos did NOT disappoint!!!
