Very cute, quaint hotel in PDC! The initial room I booked was quite small, but very comfortable and fairly clean. After deciding to stay a few more days, the front desk staff upgraded my room, for a fee of course! I'm not sure if it was more than it would have been vs booking.com, nevertheless, it worked out! The new room with double beds was very spacious and way more comfortable than the single bed room. It had a kitchen with a mini fridge and microwave, stove, dishes and utensils. Overall, it was a pleasant stay! The hotel, management and housekeeping staff, were all very nice and the wifi worked great!

The rooms contained a few minor stains on the furniture and the television repairman had an attitude!

Staff were amazing and extremely friendly and helpful. The foot top bar was not open at all, which was a bit of a let down. The root top pool itself is nice and a great place to hangout. We were able to bring in outside beverages (no glass) and enjoy them with our feet in the pool. We booked a suite with a balcony and we could see glimpses of ocean view, while still being close enough to 5th Ave strip. This end of 5th Ave is quieter but still lovely, just has less pushy vendors. As LGBTQ travellers we felt comfortable here.

I wish we had a mini fridge or something to keep drinks cold.

The music was very loud near the hotel up till 2/3 am and construction in the area started at 7/8 am couldn’t rest couldn’t sleep more then 3/4 h per night

Modern, centrally located hotel with very friendly front staff team. Conveniently located just one block from the quieter end of 5th Avenue. Close to Calle 38 and the great restaurants in that lovely part of Playa del Carmen. The king superior rooms are spacious with a couch and a balcony.

It was hard to get hot water in the shower. There were motion sensor lights in the stairwell that didn’t work very well. The stairs are curved and there are no handrails. The elevator was out of service during our stay.

So I was originally in an Airbnb but it was in a really REALLY noisy location so decided to move - went to the hotel to check out the surroundings - originally had a balcony room on the 1st floor but being noise sensitive was too much traffic noise for me and upgraded to a room at the back with kitchen - no view but it was quite (apart from the lift) and great to have fridge and kitchen so worth the money - it’s a small boutique hotel with not much in the way of facilities but in a short walk you have everything ! What is OUTSTANDING about this place is the staff. They are so so friendly and helpful and always happy to chat and have a laugh! Definitely my go to place in PDC now !

Same as always in this part of the world - lack of soundproofing

I did like everything about this hotel. Staff is absolutely helpfull at any time being at disposal to guests, smiling, greeting. That was a real pleasure to come back in the hotel every day like at home. Clean and comfortoble rooms. Nice bed. I've been really relaxing. Coffee-maker in the room soy you can have hot tea or coffee at any time. Coffee and tea you need to buy yourself in supermarkets and it's ok. I would only recommend to mngmnt to place some coffee and tea bags as the first greet when the guests arrive for the first night in the hotel. As we mostly come from Cancun a/p (45mins by taxi) after our flights that very often are night flights when we can't buy something. Hotel is very close to main walking street and at the same time apart from it's noise. Location is superb. Supermarkets, coffee-shops, great laundry for reasonable price, - everything is near. I woul highly recommend the hotel. Thank you to management and staff for comfortable and relaxed stay.

Wifi is not good. Not a big issue for me as I always buy local sim in south regions of all the countries I visit. As there is no good internet almost nowhere in the world where there is a beach, relaxation and chill :)) So it makes no sense to complain on it. Cost of sim is about 200-400$ MXN for 2 weeks in the a/p and it was enough for me to work, to watch films, to chat etc. Thank you Marvic for nice stay!

This was an interesting stay. The location of the hotel can not be better. Beach is close, 7 min walk. All the restaurants and bars. Lots of vegan - organic- healthy food near by. Just Superb. We did have issues with the room and the hot water in the shower but the hotel staff fixed it all quickly! We ended up enjoying the stay very much

Not the most clean room we’ve stayed in, but the hotel was aware and did their best to please us The beds are very firm, I like my beds to be softer but its a personal preference

The staff was very friendly. Our rooms were cleaned very nicely. We were near many very good restaurants, cafes and shops. We felt safe walking the pedestrian shopping street.

A refridgerator in the room would have been helpful.

I had a fantastic one-night stay at Marvic Hotel in Playa del Carmen. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. Highly recommend for a short stay!

Nice Boutique hotel at the end of 5th avenue! A little further from the party area…which is actually really nice if you want to sleep in! Nice restaurants nearby and easy to walk to all ‘must see and do’s’, very friendly staff and very very clean room. very good value for money!

The airconditioning is positioned in front of the bed which makes it kinda chilly due to the ventilation. Further the WiFi needs attention but they are working on this. The rooftop pool is great but the area needs some maintenance and although the bar is not open, I would suggest to arrange seating area here for the sun bathers! All with all a great stay!
