From the helpful staff to green water views of reivera Maya, from entertainment options within all inclisuve to ample options of food, despite us being on Halal diet, and were able to eat only few things but still manageable... a lot of things met our expectations. But the night performances and lots of free activities truly exceeded my expectations!

Except for a middle aged guy at the reception, forgot his name, who I found a little rude.. other than that, the staff was generally polite and very helpful. The biggest thing to spoil the experience was sea weed at the beach. You can't enter the water without going through it and it also spoiled the view. While they cleaned the beach, it all got ugly and not very vacation like. We went to Akumal especially to enjoy the beach there, but sea weed was everywhere.. I think it's a constant problem now during springs and summers.

The beach is an excellent and well taken care and very clean. The buffet is actually better than some of the restarants. Coffee cafe is extremely good with excellent pastries and great service. This beach is hard to beat in Cancun only down side is no fish for snorkeling except very early and way out.

Absolutely everything is amazing at this property! They go above and beyond to make sure every detail is taken care of. The food was amazing and changes up each night on the buffet. Location is perfect. The staff all welcomes you with smiles and seems to really love and enjoy being there.

That I had to leave.

We really like the filtered water refill stations and the craft for the room. The choices for food and as wonderful. The staff so very pleasant and helpful!

So much space on the beach roped off for members only that went unused.

The facilities were great, near the beach. The staff is kind. The animation staff is good all day, the night shows are really good. The room were comfortable.

The food and drinks were basic and with limited options (very repetitive).

Overall the experience is nice. We were lucky we got one of the best room with the ocean view (and literally, the ocean in front of the balcony.) Also noticed our room was one of the fews that were remodeled. The staff deserves all of the ratings. Customer experience is the best. Servers: Antonio, Isaac, Darinel, and all the servers from the restaurants! The entertainers and dancers are MARAVILLOSO! Shouout to the Venezuelan dancer, he is the best Dancer and Zumba Instructor.

The food is not the best. Be aware, it’s all you can eat but ONLY the buffet they serve everyday. Not the best food, but okay for the money you’re spending. You only get 3 reservations from the fine-dining restaurants and you have to book them, reserve, whenever THEY have availability. They don’t open everyday. But it makes sense. You can see they’re understaff on the service staff.

Nice resort. Very tropical and lush setting. Resort was nicely maintained.

Rooms could offer more luxury and more comfortable beds. I would like to have had room service options especially coffee delivery to the room. Very hard to book specialty dining so I would have liked more dining options other than the buffet.

We loved that they clean the beach everyday from sargassum. Also the service is amazing they are very nice and friendly.

We loved everything

The staff was great! From the house keeping to the concierge everyone was friendly and very attentive to our needs. Specifically, Raul and Joel from the concierge staff! They treated us like royalty during our honeymoon stay!

I can’t pick anything I didn’t like, if I did I would say the food selection during the buffet. Add more traditional Mexican foods as we traveled to Mexico to try out the food and we got American foods most of the stay. Again, this is very minor detail that if not changed won’t ruin the stay.

This is the 5th time we have stayed here. The staff are always very friendly and helpful, and they work very hard. I love the fact that the hotel is always updating things, trying to keep the customers happy. I loved the foam party in the pool this year, it was great. As they say at the Viva Wyndham Maya. The food at the Mexican, Italian and Mediterranean restaurants was amazing as always, although somebody had used our room number to book one of these restaurants as we found out the day after arrival when we went to book these, but this was easily resolved and we ate in all 3 restaurants during our holiday. We`ll definitely be back, as they say at the Viva Wyndham Maya Amigos para siempre.

The only thing that could be improved is the cleanliness of the toilets near reception and near the trapeze. They are not always that clean
