All of it was brilliant. We especially loved the beach area and the kids really enjoyed the slides in the family area too. The breakfast buffet was great with lots of choice and space for our big family. I was also super impressed with the quality of spa treatments, hair and makeup (for a wedding). The staff were superb, very friendly and helpful.

As we were not able to get ‘Gold bands’ (because we stayed in the family area) this meant that getting food in the day needed to be timed well so we didn’t miss the snack bar at the beach.

Staff was friendly, Nice size rooms, great family rooms with bunk beds, great pools, kids splash pools keep them busy for hours! Even though they have a trolley to drive you down to beach/buffet/pool/etc, it’s still very walkable - from family building down to the beach is just a 10 min walk. very family friendly resort! The guys at the scuba hut had great excursions to offer too - and at a better rate than some of the other vendors we priced. They were able to accommodate our youngest child (7 yo) as well which some other tours could not.

The rooms (especially bathrooms) are a little dated and could use an upgrade. The over-size jet tub seems a bit pointless.

All the hotel's staff from the reception, bell boys to the gardeners are very attentive to the guests. They are cleaning, helping with the requests, trying to make your stay safe and comfortable. You can order meals in the room which is a free service as well as to take a ride to the beach. There is a mini-"bus" with 3 stops on the way for the guest to hop in. Spa is excellent. Food, drinks is fantastic. The French restaurant is our favorite one best. The resort was full, but because each building is surrounded by the trees and plants, there is privacy. Adults only beach is very convenient and is being cleaned and maintained very well. The show every night is very professional and joyful.

I wish we proactively were informed about the free room service option. My elderly Mom has mobility issues and I would have been using bell boys ride service more. For me there was a lack of entertainment and activities during the day. There was aqua-aerobics, but there were no information when it should. The evening shows started at 9 pm which was kind of late. I wish it was at 8 pm.

Everything was great. After reading mixed reviews we didn't know what to expect. The drinks were great, the food was abundant, fresh and very good. Service was awesome everywhere. We had a great time and thought it was great value for money, the all inclusive option was great. The room and hotel were a tiny bit outdated but in very good condition. A lot of activities and entertainment for all ages.

Beautiful beach, good pools, food was good quality. This was our first all inclusive and we stayed here for three nights. Good gym. Comfortable rooms. Like having a small pool and hot tub by the hacienda rooms.

Check in and check out were really poorly organised. There is a total lack of management and communication. Make sure you've paid everything or you will have to join a long queue just to leave. For some reason I wasn't charged the tourist eco tax on check in so had to queue to pay it on leaving. Lack of staff at some bars resulting in long waits. Predominantly Spanish speaking guests (this isn't a negative, just an observation), we were hoping for more English speaking kids for our kids to make friends with in the few days we were there. The water slides seem much smaller than in the photos.

Didn't get up early enough to eat breakfast

That when I had to leave a day early for a funeral, Sandos would not refund my money and was not understanding of the situation. They told me I would have to contact Bookings, yet when I added someone to my reservation arriving a day after I did and leaving with me they accepted it. That makes no sense. I sent a message to Bookings about my refund and have not heard back.

The environment is lovely and well maintained. Natural vegetation keeps it cool in otherwise very warm conditions. Encourages birds and other creatures which makes it such a lush and inviting place to walk around. New children’s area is so nice for our pre-school grandchildren. Access to beach, patio buffet and activities makes this ideal for families. Everywhere the staff is helpful, kind and friendly. And we always felt welcome in any venue, from the artists who made our coffees in Cafe to the French, Mexico Gourmex and Asian restaurants. All were excellent.

My favorite was the various food and drinks options. The service is pretty good and very accomodating. The rooms are very comfortable, refreshments and amenities, with many pool sections within the apartment blocks, so does not feel overly crowed. Food wise there are many options for dinner. For Lunch the Festival Buffet or the Snack Bar seems to be only options; the buffet is huge and can be a bit overwhelming how many options there are, but for many food desires can be very practical. The facilities are huge and there is so much to do or many place to not do anything and relax.

I wish for Lunch there was other than the Festival Buffet or the Snack Bar. The food at the Festival Buffet can be a bit too salty. The transport offer can be price-wise more accessable or inform the guess about the shuttle option. the inner shuttle can be more frequent than only 15mins, sometimes can be too full at the stations and the space is limited.

The all inclusive service was very good indeed. A good selection of food and drinks.

One of the doormen got us a taxi to the town centre for a price way above the standard advertised cost at the main entrance - it should be 300 mxn but we were charged 700 mxn. He got away with it and the hotel didn't want to know.
