The Panacea is very modern and has all the luxuries you need for a pleasant stay, comfortable beds and lounge and balcony area with very nice amenities, the two pools were great for cooling down each day/night. It is within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants and laundry services etc. We had a rental car and could park easily in the carpark at the front.

We didn't experience very friendly service from one of the hosts on reception, however the other was friendly and overall we had all our needs met well.

It was calm and central. Walking distances to local stores which I loved for the convenience. And it had plenty of parking spaces out front if you wish to rent a car as well. They provided with a list of places to eat cheap and very good food as well. Totally plan to stay in the near future here again.

The pool water wasn’t cold lol but it’s to be expected. But deff enjoyed it because of the depth of it.

We stayed in the suite with private pool room was very clean and spacious.bed was comfortable and so was the couch. Location is is quite but still had a coffee shop straight across the road and some restaurants within walking distance. You will need to sort out transport if you wanted to go to beach or main part of town. We hired a car tor part of the and scooter for the other part.

Main pool area was great and maybe lacked a bit of atmosphere when compared to a traditional hotel but this is more of a preference thing .

The private pool was amazing to enjoy after a day in the beach. The facilities were really good. Shared pools were also really nice and the area is kept clean and tidy by the staff who cleaned it every day. The bed was really comfortable and the AC both in room and living room kept the inside at a perfect temperature. Bathroom was clean and spacious. Decoration was simple but to our taste. You can reach the place using good roads, which is a big deal because there are many roads in poor conditions in the city.

The pods are of a bit of low quality. We have a baby and were worried that some rust or metal would come off the pods and pans into the food. Although there was maintenance done on the private pool the rest of the cleaning of the apartment was up to us. We had to ask for extra toilet paper, garbage bags, and basically take care of all the cleaning. This was not a huge problem for us but it'd be nice if they would have offer to clean at least once in our 8-day stay.

The pool is wonderful. The apartments are clean and comfortable, and the complex is quiet and peaceful. The neighborhood is a little out-of-the-way gem.

Now that it has gone condo, rather than hotel, they are doing weird things like charging for an extra towel. It´s just a dollar, but it´s weird. The neighborhood restaurants are all aimed at tourists and very overpriced for the quality. The few local places in the area were closed--I'm guessing because it was off' season.

We really enjoyed our stay for 10 days, very quiet, lovely garden, nice pool area to swim and relax, good gym to do a little workout, the apartments are very spacious and nicely decorated, staff is very friendly. Can really recommend it.

when you stay a bit longer it would be nice if the towels and sheets would be changed,

Spacious modern apartment in complex with decent pool, gym. Serviced with 24/7 reception and cleaning. Very nice and kind cleaning staff. Comfy beds and nice linen/towels.

Location is OK, but a map with how to get there avoid bad roads would be useful. The area is rather dark-ish, but felt quite safe. Apartment is not so much Tulum vibe - just a modern spacious space. We stayed in few others that did decor and some local touches better. Some amenities are worn out - e.g. dirty/scratched shower. Deposit policy and price list for damages is something I saw the first time and it gives you weird impression you are not fully welcome or trusted…

Bubble of paradise in Tulum. Once you are past the gate, you feel in a different world. Great secluded garden with 2 swimming pools. Very well equipped apartment with good standard deco. Very comfy beds. Parking off the road. 20 min away driving from the archeological site.

Like paradise, hard to get in, hard to get out. Neighbourhood roads are in a very poor state and circulation plan is unpredictable. Night time concierge service under par.

Very clean, great staff, comfortable and large space. I traveled with my 3 teenagers and my mom, and we were all very comfortable. The kitchen is great and a very easy check-in and check out process. Although it's not located on the beach side, there is a main street nearby with tons of restaurants and shops and right down the street are many restaurants like Carlitos Burrito that jad the best dessert of our trip. A Maracuya ice cream/cheesecake that was to die for!!

Maybe a couple more coffee mugs since we only had 2, but other than that, great service!

A very nice property, with a kitchen area & table. Nice lounge area plus on our ground floor, outdoor patio with an another table & seating. The property was very modern with a nice outdoor pool & garden area. Just like the pics on booking. The staff were really helpful, housekeeping came every day & were lovely. A few minute walk away there were bars & cafes. A couple of laundromat. A place to get fresh fruit & a small supermarket. We had read some bad reviews about the $200 deposit, we gave cash & had absolutely no problems. Treat the property well & you’ll be ok.

There is a lot of building work going on in the area. The Panacea at the moment is away from that but the roads around are quite poor. However if you don’t mind that, which we were ok with then enjoy.
