This was one of the most awesome rooms we ever had in a hotel. Spacious, cozy, private (last room). I'd say that if You want to stay in Tulum, choose Era. If it had a restaurant in premises, it would be even more perfect. But since it has such a good location, there are plenty of restaurants to choose really close. Yet again, it's far enough to enjoy the silence, You don't hear the main-street's noise at all. And Teresa is just the best, helped us in everything we asked. Couldn't ask for a better host.

The hotel was great!! The staff as mentioned in the other reviews are genuinely great and helpful. You feel like you are staying with friends. The location was good too. A little walk to the main road but all that you need in terms of a long cal shop and local restaurants are within 5 mins walk. The beach is a taxi or bicycle ride away which is no problem at all especially as I rented a moped that the hotel staff also arranged for me. The breakfast was delicious and healthy and presented well. The pool and surrounding plants etc is really a paradise setting. The room was very spacious and also beautifully decorated and dressed. In all I would recommend this hotel and would stay again and again.

The location is perfect, close to many affordable restaurants and taco stands. It is walking distance to Holistika, perfect if you like to take yoga classes. The neighborhood felt very safe. The hotel is very clean and comfortable, the rooms is the perfect size for single traveler or a couple. The pool is quiet, and nice to sit and lounge at. The cafe has great food as well, and staff is very friendly.

The bicycles are old but free to use. Can be hard to ride to the beach as it is about 4 miles.

Great location close to all the nice restaurants and bars. Easy to park your car just outside. Nice room with everything you need, although doesn’t feel very well maintained.

Staff felt uninterested in helping or just being friendly. Price was good but the overall experience wasn’t that special. No option to have breakfast in the hotel, although there are many places nearby where you can have it. Overall, we’d probably pick a different place!

The room is very cute and nice! I think it’s great for solo travelers or couples, but the shower area is open to the room with no curtain or privacy, which might be an issue for some. Other than that, everything is great—the hotel is lovely, and the staff is super friendly! Also it’s like jungle type so bring mosquitos repellent.

This place is a slice of paradise! The rooms are super comfortable and clean. The onsite spa is beautiful. I had a great experience with 2 massage therapists there. The hotel staff were helpful with arranging transportation. There were a handful of good options to choose from for breakfast - I highly recommend the avocado toast! :)

The front desk staff was incredibly helpful, friendly and accommodating. She even allowed me to check in early and leave my room a little later for airport transportation. It was perfect. She facilitated my ride to the airport, a massage appointment and gave perfect suggestions for food.

I have absolutely no complaints.

The staff was amazing - very friendly, easy to communicate with and accommodating. The room was very nicely furnished and sparkling clean. The property was safe as there was always someone around the reception and after dark the main entrance was closed (you had a card to get in). The pool was a nice size and very clean. We were able to park our car by the hotel (and it was on cameras). There were nice restaurants walking distance and close by.

There was nothing that I didn’t like about Era Hotel & Spa. Even before I arrived the staff took care of arranging transportation from CUN to Tulum. Upon arriving I was greeted with a smile, bags taken to the room and a brief tour of the property. No matter the time of day the staff greeted you with a smile; was ready and willing to assist and/or provide recommendations. They provided free bicycles for use to use to bike to the Tulum ruins. Awesome stay and experience, definitely would pick this hotel again.

Honestly there was nothing that I didn’t like about this property.

Great location and super nice grounds for a comfortable getaway.

Bed was pretty hard and all of the soaps smelled bad. A couple families also brought several small children who woke us up early in the morning a few nights of the trip since the hotel is pretty small.
