We had a very nice stay there, very friendly staff, good location to explore Tulum, many restaurants around. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Basic breakfast (coffee, tea, juice, toasts, cereals, fresh fruit). 2 nice pools, fast WiFi.

Very hard mattress, not really comfortable. The lighting inside the room and bathroom is quite dark, like dimming so it was quite dark inside even though the lights were on.

The location is perfect - near lots of great restaurants, cafes & bars all in walking distance. Hotel is cute and has a nice design with 3 swimming pools. Only 25 min walk from the coach station. I felt really safe as a solo female traveler staying here and the staff were lovely. You can not rent bikes from the hotel but across the entrance from the hotel is a lovely man called Hector who you can rent bikes, scooters & quads from. I cycled to the beach one day, it took about 45 minutes. Breakfast is a good selection with coffee, toast, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals etc.

It would be great if the staff could leave a bell to ring at reception when they aren’t there. I spoke to other guests who also had the same issue checking in with no one there. The damp smell in the room is a problem and needs to be sorted.

At the property we had the chance to rent a scooter at a reasonable price, which made it easier for us to travel through Tulum. The breakfast was a buffet, which included yogurt, fruit, granola, cornflakes, bread, bread spreads + coffee/orange juice, and additionally we could choose one dish form the breakfast menu, which the staff cooked for us every morning. Nice pool to cool off during a hot day. The staff was very helpful!

It was really calm in the evening, there is not a lot to do in the are where this hotel is located, therefore we either had to drive more towards the centre of the city or stay in our room watching a movie.

Fresh seasonal fruit, yogurt, toast, and coffee were available for breakfast and allowed us to relax in the mornings. The location was great and there were many great local restaurants and food spots that were all in walking distance.

We only saw 1-2 staff members during our stay. We came during the off-season which could have explained it but there was rarely someone at the front desk.

From the moment we arrived at Turquoise Hotel, we felt completely at home. It’s a charming little gem—immaculately clean, beautifully designed, and full of character. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, and Diego, the host, truly sets the bar high when it comes to hospitality. He made sure everything was perfect during our stay. The three pools and jacuzzi were the cherry on top! If you’re heading to Tulum, don’t miss out on this place.

The location is perfect—everything you need is close by, and it’s just a short walk to Pepe Tacos, which was absolutely amazing. The hotel itself is stunning, with charming decor and a relaxed atmosphere. I especially loved the three swimming pools—plenty of space to unwind and enjoy. And to top it all off, there’s a friendly cat on the property that made the stay even more special. Highly recommend!

Breakfast can be improved

Beautiful, large room with comfortable beds, AC, a small refrigerator, a lovely deck and a good sized washroom with shower. 3 gorgeous pools! Attractive lobby and communal spaces. Friendly staff.

Never saw anyone at the front desk. Communication could have been better...in person or via WhatsApp or email. The staff we did interact with were friendly and welcoming.

We had a great stay at the Hotel Turquoise. The hotel is located in the heart of Valletta, where you'll find all the amenities. The two outdoor pools are really top-notch. The staff are lovely, discreet, attentive and give good advice on places to visit in Tulum. The breakfast is great! The bedding is good, everything you need for a good night's rest after a day's adventure in the Yucatan. The possibility of borrowing a bike free of charge is a real advantage!

The possibility of eating in the evening would be great to add as an option. It's useful after a long day of hiking in the Yucatan.

It was a fantastic experience, I loved every single thing at this place. The location is perfect, interior is so beautiful and instagrammable, our room was clean and spacious. They have bikes that you can use free of charge to get around the city. I really loved the jungle atmosphere and birds singing in the morning. Hotel manager Max is the most helpful and friendly person I've ever met! This place really felt like home, we stayed here for 2 weeks and did not want to leave at all.

The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming! It was a breath of fresh air to feel like the staff actually cared about your experience and they always had a smile. Hedel and the cleaning woman who makes the breakfasts were absolute sweethearts! Beyond that the property is beautiful, the pools were well maintained and the WiFi was super good. The two bed room was perfect and the beds were extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back!
