Casa KOPAL is located right in the heart of the action in Tulum. A great place for mojitos and live music right next door as well as really great health food, coffee shops, taco's and nightclubs. I am a solo female traveller and I felt safe here. The staff were very very sweet! The rooftop bar and pool are unreal, for some reason no one was ever up there so I had the place to myself to do some work, have a drink, or sit with my feet in the pool after a long day of walking around.

The only thing is that there are a few nigthclubs very close by so you may want to bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. I was in a private room without a window so make sure your room has a window if that's important to you - or use the rooftop!

The villa was very nice. The room was spacious as well as the bathroom. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.

I didn't like that there was no property manager on premises. We had a problem with our booking. The villa was overbooked and no one to talk to or contact since the number on Booking for the property manager was incorrect. We arrived at the property at midnight and the villa was occupied by other guests. After, a lot of back and forth the guests that were there allowed us to stay in an extra room they had. The next day the property manager Jared arrived at the property to talk to us and the current guest. After all the problems were ironed out the overall stay was good

This place is located above and besides many clubs that beat loud music unti about 4am. Right when you finally start to drift to sleep, the 5am garbage trucks beep non stop for the next 2 hours. Also, we had zero water: Zero showers, zero washing hands, zero flushing toilet. After being at the beach all morning, the travelling 5 hours in the car to get there-a shower was pretty missed. I texted and try to communicate at night with staff, and next morning-but no replies. I would have switch hotels that night. The place was horrible. I asked for refund but was denied then. I made a claim online but the hotel never replied to the platform, so refund denied also. We ended up just packing up and leaving about 8am. If you have luggage or small children, getting up to the room will be difficult. There some steep stairs, and a steep winding metal staircase. I was travelling with my 3 kids, 2 are younger. It was hard.

The beds are huge and comfortable. They try to do a good design of the rooms.

You are sleeping near a Super Loud Concert Bar, there is music all the night and there is no way to Sleep. The Music is so loud that it seems like you are sleeping in the same Bar with the very loud Music, This Hotel should be very cheap because of it. I can't believe why Booking still advertising this Hostel. Incredible Booking !!

They overcharged me and their restaurant on the 1st floor is a joke
