This is a slice of heaven hidden away in the back streets of Tulum. Far enough from the madding crowd to be peaceful but close enough for a walk or a short cab ride to restaurants and local activities. No catering bar breakfast but the sister hotel is nearby which has a range of workshops, yoga etc and also a delicious open air restaurant that caters for all dietary requirements. The team who run it are all without exception lovely and very helpful. The hotel is kept spotlessly clean. The bedrooms are spacious and beautifully done. The decor is just as gorgeous as the pictures but you miss the incredible calm that descends upon you when you enter the space and sit around the pool surrounded by greenery and bird song. Literally heaven!

The staff were incredible. It was so nice being away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Tulum & the hotel zone. It is also only a short walk from excellent bars and restaurants. Julie and her team went above and beyond for us and gave us lots of recommendations for places to eat, different activities & organised private transfers and taxis for us. The breakfast was continental, which set us up for the day and suited us perfectly. Highly recommend booking here and wish we stayed longer!!

Stylish property with a lovely pool. The staff were lovely. The two young women on the front desk helped us out with perfect recommendations for beach clubs and cenotes. We enjoyed renting the bikes and using them to ride to the beach. The location is a bit out of the way, but we found it close enough to walk into Tulum town, where there are some great food options. Hotel was good value for Tulum.

The only issue I had was the soundproofing of the rooms. The doors are slatted, which means that they do not keep sound out at all, and you can hear anything going on in the corridors and landings.

Hotel Tiki Tiki was our favourite hotel so far, rooms so clean and well appointed, lovely windows with natural light and great air con, modern bathrooms. Loved the aesthetic mid century decor in the main bar and pool area, we were one of a few staying there as it’s quiet season so we basically had the place to ourselves which was amazing, staff were very friendly and helpful with tour bookings, pool was nice and cool and the whole place was very relaxing. Great area really close to cool restaurants and Holistika next door where we got a free yoga class. My favourite part was the friendly cat Bonito, she was so lovely and I spent a lot of time patting her. Breakfast was nice with yogurt, granola and fruit, toast with coffee and juice, nice and healthy which vibes with the area of La Veleta, would defintely stay here again, the area was so calm and tranquil compared to downtown, very up and coming, a bit like Ubud in Bali. Great cocktails and bar area, with chill music and friendly staff, spent a lot of time on the lounge chairs near the pool. Absolute oasis

Loved everything, could have done with a few more hooks in the bathroom to hang things, but that’s about it !

Location was excellent, tucked away from the hustle and bustle, but yet restaurants & bars were surprisingly only a 10 minute stroll away. Our room (9) was a delight, large glass windows letting in all the light whilst also being shaded by the surrounding plantation, we felt like we were in an exclusive tree house. The staff were exceptional ( Josefina, Santiago at the bar and Julie), going above & beyond to help us (when I lost my phone!). By morning two, the cafe staff knew and remembered how we liked our coffee and toast, this we thought was impressive!! Plus they brought it to the pool side whilst we chilled in the morning sun. Electric bike hire availability - we hired them twice and headed to the beach (20mins away) were not brave enough to get the mopeds though!! The overall vibes of this place were chilled, cool and relaxing ( just what we needed) Thank you so much...

That we decided to move onto Playa del Carmen for 4 days....why did we do that??

The staff was super accommodating to my sister and husband who were traveling with their two kids. They went above and beyond to make breakfasts the kids would eat (no mixed fruit touching each other!) A special mention must go to the ever-patient and helpful Sofia, who had worked in the US as a caretaker for young children, anddespite working double shifts to cover a colleague who was out, was extra generous with her time and expertise in the area. She even made little goodie bags for the kids for their return flight home!

The hotel was really pretty and Rosie and Naomi really looked after us, showing us the best places to eat, and also giving us a little surprise for my wife’s birthday. The pool was idyllic and our rooms were always clean. Would definitely come back here again

It was a little far from the beach but we wanted a location that was a bit quieter so was perfect for us and it was only a 20 minute taxi ride away

The hotel is a super cute boutique hotel with an awesome bar and pool. The rooms are spacious including the bathroom and the staff is excellent. They really made our trip. They helped us book last-minute excursions and gave great recommendations for food. The location is a bit out of town and is kind of far from the beach area but you can rent bikes or a scooter and that should be enough to get around.

The location. I don't recommend staying in town but this place is a little far away from everything. The room rates are a bit high for the location but ALL of Tulum is overpriced.

The amenities , the staff, the location, everyone made sure I was ok!! Drinks were perfect, from Ricardo, Sofia and Samantha were so sweet and knowledgeable about what to do. Serjio was a pleasure to talk to in the morning breakfast. By the second day I felt at home! But with all the extra care! 💕 breakfast was enough to start the day, one free yoga class at Holistika. And Benito the hotel kitty!! 🌸 I’ll be back!

Need a little more care on the bikes (low light and old seats. But works just fine!!!

The girls working at reception were so lovely. I felt cared for especially as a solo traveller. The hotel was clean and beautiful. The room and bed were very comfortable and the view out to the forest was great. The hotel is located next door to holistika which is a plus if you want to do any classes- they even give you one for free.
