The room, though quite small, was very accommodating. I had a corner room facing the city and with a side view of the water & malecon, especially from the small balcony. I had booked my reservations quite a few months in advance, then noticed the price went down $20 US if someone booked just a few days before arrival. My rate could not be reduced because of the quarantee with no refund less than 3 days in advance. So I requested a high floor with a partial view of the ocean and to have a parking spot held for me in their protected back entry area. One of the rare hotels on the water that has protected parking. I was accommodated! The rooftop pool and bar area are really nice with a great view of the Malecon and water. Beautiful sunset view. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast buffet is served in a nice ocean view location. They served a chicken and mushroom gravy that was great on a piece of whole wheat bread (no biscuits).

The bed was hard, as others have mentioned, but the sheets nice. Breakfast was typical Mexican. Their provision of sausage or bacon was boiled hot dogs.

Mattresses were too hard in the room. Our room was cleaned but towels weren’t placed in the room they were super friendly and brought them up quick. Window from room to as a bit different little hard to take pictures of the view from there.

Location, nice pool on roof, lockbox, good bar, hot water in shower, nice buffet breakfast & friendly staff!!

Standard rooms are small, dirty windows!! Some construction repairs on our floor and paint smell was bad!!

This is our favorite hotel in Mazatlan, by far. Fantastic location next to old town. Amazing view over the ocean. Rooftop pool and lounge. 1940s art-deco-(ish) architecture vibe. It's the grand old dame of the embarcadero. Not flashy, but classic. Won't stay anywhere else if we come to Mazatlan again.

Very poor choice of breakfast for vegetarians/vegans; unable to check in until 3pm, then only one member of staff on reception, so long queues; need to wear a wristband.

The location is in front of the beach, you can see the waves hitting the rocks from your window. The breakfast in the morning is good & it's staff is very nice and helpful. I'll stay here again! You also have El Centro Historico @ a walking distance, plus many other restaurants and shops.

A older building...the elevator takes time to go up and down, also it's a small space if you have more than 2 persons inside the elevator. But not a big deal, just a inconvenience if you're in a hurry.
