Perfect for travelers that spend most of their time exploring and eating and just need a clean, safe place to sleep. During my week in Mazatlan I stayed at a beach resort in the golden dorada and a hotel in the historic center. Looking back I wish I simply stayed the entire time at Hotel Posada del Parque. The hotel is centrally located and a short walk to the large market, beach, malecon and historic center. The rooms are surprisingly big and comes with a sofa, mini fridge, microwave, tv and A/C. Showers use the electric heater so only goes to warm. The receptionist during the day is very friendly and helpful. Book it!

I booked 2 nights planning on scouting town for my final 5 nights from there. I stayed my entire stay there. I paid $70 a night with this website and $27each for 5nights from the hotel itself. The staff especially my angel Maria who runs the front desk all day were above and beyond helpful and friendly. I speak about as much Spanish as Donald Duck and Maria google translated many of my constant and annoying questions with enthusiasm and vigor. Gracias Maria. Other guests seemed to be Mexican Nationals on vacation many families as some of the units are large. 3 blks from the Beach and from the Market. Oh yah I caught 21 dorado and 12 bonito in about 4hrs.

Uncomfortable bed, very hard, and it didn't have a blanket, there was a dirty blanket on the shelf. In the bathroom the shower window doesn't have mesh or glass, an animal can get inside thru there.

Loved this location - having stayed on the beach before and in the Zona Dorada, this part of town is more interesting and really isn't far from the beach. Also close to the alberca publica which is an outdoor free lido. Staff were really nice, and gave us an invoice easily. Our room had a separate 'kitchen' which wasn't much but it did help balance things out. Price was good, given that we were in Semana Santa.

The Wifi didn't work very well, the shower was electric and so not very powerful. The room felt very much like it needed renovation, we had one side lamp which didn't work. The AC was fine, and we also had a fan, so it wasn't too hot, thankfully.

Location - close to beach and Centro. You can walk to almost everything.
