Excellent breakfast - incredible variety of options. Very good restaurant. Excellent cocktails. Very friendly service - quick with car retrieval. Good gym. Nice comfortable room with balcony. Beautiful, well maintained common area.

Location near convention centre but a long walk from Paseo de Montejo and downtown. Unusual room cleaning - often showed up at 5 pm when we were trying to get ready for dinner, and repeatedly didn't empty garbage. Pool area is small - very inconsistent availability of pool bar (do not rely on it). Missing a lot of small things when we came - only one bathrobe and slippers, one chair on balcony, no knife and cutting board for kitchen - eventually got everything but we had to request on a few occasions.

Very nice hotel, tastefully designed. The room was very nice, comfortable beds, and overall well equipped. The pool on the roof was very nice for cooling down as we were there during a very hot week. Location is fantastic, lots of good restaurants in the area and the architecture of the neighbourhood is very interesting.

Just nitpicking but - 1. The room had teabags but no tea cups, only two small espresso cups, so nothing really to have tea in 2. Nowhere to hang wet swimsuits, no bathrobes for going to the pool

The property is chic and lovely. The staff was nice at check-in and very helpful. The bed and bedding were very comfortable. The grounds were really cool with a “zen garden” feel. Very close walk to nice restaurants, shopping and Paseo 60. Be aware they charge $1000 pesos for your pet, which I thought was insanely high. However, they provided a dog bed and bowl, plus a “kit de perrito” with some cute goodies for my dog.

Expensive pet charge, parking is minimal and a very small underground spot not easy to get into.

The Wayam Mundo was the BEST part of our trip to Merida. every single staff member was Amazing!!! The hotel is simply stunning! IMPECCABLY maintained, comfortable and welcoming. The location was excellent!

Only the weather in Merida was a bit harsh. The hotel was Cool and Comfortable!

The hotel has a great design with lush trees and vegetation in the middle of the building. Rooms are spacious and very well designed with separate toilets and showers and open space, plus a lot of storage space. Restaurant staff were very friendly and the food was good. Workout room has a cross-trainer machine, treadmill, and cable cross-over machine plus small free weights up to about 15 kgs so it's good for a hotel workout room. All and all we had a nice and very comfortable stay.

However, we found this is not a five start hotel. More like a good four-star hotel. There's no room service and even no minibar (just an empty fridge)in the room. Arriving hungry at 11 pm, we were advised to go to nearby 7/11... Some of the reception desk staff were not particularly good at welcoming people, either.

We booked this hotel in a extra last minute as our reservation in another hotel was cancelled when we arrived. Wayam Mundo Imperial hotel welcomed us warmly. The hotel is well located, there is a garage and a valet service that is very convenient. There is also a restaurant/bar, delicious food and cocktails. The room and the bathroom were extra large. We need to walk around 30 min to go to the city center in a lighten path, that is really enjoyable!

The pool is small and could be a bit cleaner.

Nothing as such but the location is not ideal if you want to be within the walking distance from Merida central. You need to drive to reach place grande or any restaurant or cafe. Though this hotel has a very good restaurant.

The property is simply stunning, amazing moden design. The rooms are big and have everything you need for your stay. We enjoyed the restaurant, pool and kidness of all the hotel staff. Special thanks to Herson. The Jazz music and courtesy wine were amazing. Cocktails and Breakfast are great. The hotel is perfect for Business or Leisure Travel, we'll be back at some point.

The restaurant needs to include a couple of regional dishes. I was craving for cochinita pibil and there wasn't any regional dish in the menu.

Beautiful hotel - was even more beautiful in person than the pictures showed. We stayed in a junior suite, and highly recommend it. Many neat features in the room (lots of lighting options, sliding pocket door to open or close the main bathroom area, etc), with a large-sized bathroom. Friendly and prompt service from the hotel and valet staff. Everything was very clean. Pool area is beautiful and water was warm. Restaurant was also beautiful, drinks were great, food interesting. Also felt very safe walking in the area - one night we walked to a convenience store about 4-5 blocks away to get extra drinks and snacks, and another night we walked about 6 blocks to Mercado Gourmet and Paseo Montejo. We also drove one day to Progreso, which was a quick 30 minute drive with traffic. Was all very lovely.

There wasn't much to complain about! We did try to go to the pool bar a couple times, and there was never anyone tending the bar there, so that was a little disappointing, but definitely didn't ruin our stay. Overall, we loved our experience!

The hotel setting is beautiful with a stunning internal courtyard. The room was spacious and beautifully designed. The pool area has beautiful views of the city. The hotel's restaurant Cuna is one of my favorite spots in Merida.

I arrived at the hotel on a very hot day, and the AC in my room wasn't working. They sent a technician in to fix it but to no avail. Long story short it didn't get fixed and I had to request a new room from the manager. The whole process took about 2 hours which was an unfortunate waste of time for my one night stay. At the end of the day, I was taken care of and the manager was apologetic.
